The book looks really interesting and the sketches/exercise looks promising. There are a few format issues which will be corrected I think. Otherwise, I believe I will improve my drawing skills following this book.

Its an interesting book, which really does approach you from a beginner level. Describing to you the basics of shapes, forms and lines, going over motor skills and even something which you may think is simple, like holding a pen. It has weekly schedules and a breakdown of what you should be practicing everyday of the week. Ultimately this is a learning book, to educate you on how to draw. It takes a good approach which is not too complicated and you can understand and build from the basics. There are even links included which forward you to videos so you can learn more.

It did not take me five weeks to draw since I'm not really a total beginner. But what I appreciate about this book is that the instructions were very easy to follow and despite me not being a total beginner, I still learned some techniques that would make my drawing better. Will definitely recommend this to my friends who are scared to start drawing. And that's one other thing, the exercises do help with building confidence because they start out simple and anyone with no skill can do them. I tried sending this book to my kindle but the formatting went awry and the pictures didn't even load so I was so confused. I ended up using the Netgalley app for this and it worked fine.

I got this yesterday and couldn't wait to share how easy it is, for someone who has never considered themselves great at drawing, I am loving the pencil sketches I worked on in the very first three chapters of this book. I did not know anything about coordination of movement, of my arm and wrist in drawing, even such a thing as how I hold the pen-this is fun, easy to follow and encouraging.
