I loved the premise of this one. I am a sucker for grumpy sunshine and forced proximity. I do wish the failed first date had been further explored. Overall, this was a fun winter/holiday steamy read!

This was just what I needed to kick off my holiday reading. The setting was perfect and I didn’t realize it was a spicy book which was a welcomed surprise!

I really enjoyed this book and found the characters relatable, especially to my life as I have a long history of working on or within college campuses. It was really nostalgic to also remember the 2014 blizzard and where I was in my life at that point, but also I could easily picture the snowstorm that was the setting of this book. Could be a good comfort read in future years.

This was a really good read! The suspense of whether or not the freezing cold weather would harm either of the main characters was about as strong as whether or not the main characters would stay together or not for me. I love that they both work on a college campus, and one's a sorority house mom. I didn't think they still existed, but I guess they do.

I think this was a nice winter cozy read, but where was the Christmas vibes?? I was hoping for more and not just a snowstorm. I thought Becca was super cute and honestly had no opinions on Harrison, but he seemed hot to me lol

I do hate a miscommunication trope and the story basically had to revolve around him ghosting her which could have been solved at the end of their first date lol was quite steamy though!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC.

Snowed in for Christmas is an enemies/failed previous date-to-lovers story about neighbors in a college town. I really enjoyed reading about Becca's unconventional job as a sorority mom and Harrison's job as the college's football coach. The chemistry between them was definitely there and the setting of the book as they're stuck in a blizzard over Christmas. However, there was a lot that I didn't enjoy. Their physical attraction and sexual relationship came on SO strong and I honestly felt like it was forced and a little creepy about how it all happened. I felt like their emotional relationship wasn't very deep besides their bond of not being happy with their current life. This thought really hit me at the end of the book AFTER they were engaged when Becca had to mention to Harrison that she had a lot of clothes....I felt that was very silly to say to your boyfriend of one year and your new fiance. I also felt like there were so many chances for their relationship to deepen romantically but it felt very back and forth between them. I also didn't understand the third-act breakup; yes, he had to leave to help his player in the hospital and be there for their team but what he said over the phone didn't make sense for the type of conversation he was having & they never truly talked about it at the end. Overall, this book put me into the holiday spirit but I wasn't a fan of the book overall. I appreciate Jaqueline Snowe and NetGalley for providing the eARC in exchange for my honest review!

Becca and Harrison were so cute! I’m always down for some forced proximity to kick up the tension - and after Harrison ghosted Becca after a great date and an amazing kiss two years ago, there is some tension.
I wish we had gotten more reasoning behind the decision Harrison made to ghost her, it made sense, but seemed kinda silly.
Otherwise, I love how these two built each other up, and Becca helped Harrison through some tough situations.

Snowed In For Christmas was one of my most anticipated holiday reads this year, and it certainly didn’t disappoint, I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it.

Thank you to Forever Publishing for sending me a #gifted advanced copy in exchange for review!

Ugh yet another spicy read hidden behind an adorable cover. I love forced proximity and enemies to lovers; however I don’t like miscommunication, steam and one bed; all of which this book has. I think lots of people are going to love this but I am not one of those people

Ended up DNF’ing and realized this wasn’t for me. Thank you for the opportunity to read this. Not posting a review anywhere since I didn’t finish the full book. Best of luck to the author

This was the spicy Christmas romance of my dreams! It had all of my catnip: forced proximity, one-bed, cuddling, starts as a fling, etc. ALL of them. I'm in heaven right now.

Short summary: Becca is the house mom at a sorority on campus, and Harrison, the head football coach. They once had a memorable kiss after a wonderful date. (All of this is off page, except in flashbacks.) Then he ghosted her. Cut to two years later, and as campus neighbors, they barely smile at each other. But a really big snowstorm is about to force them into the same house--and bed--and then they have to start admitting feelings. Big feelings. And it is wonderful to watch happen.

Snowe does a great job with this romance. She introduces just enough side characters to keep the plot going, and she is the *Master* at forced proximity. Whew. The heat that was being generated by the two of them was intense. The sexual tension is excellent, and I think Harrison had a good character arc. I identified with Becca from the very beginning (I myself am blonde and eccentric LOL). She was such a great FMC. She was kind and loving and smart and vulnerable.

Btw, don't let the cover fool you. This book is HOT. HOTTTTT. When Harrison finally says "screw it," it's a thing of beauty. He goes from being tightly wound to softly touching her, and then he realizes he needs ALL of her. I loved that Becca was skeptical of him. It made the tension much more realistic. I love, though, that she finally gives in to him because she's a grown woman and he's what she wants. None of this running around the point, and I love that in romances.

I truly can't say enough about this novel! This is a new-to-me author, but I will definitely be reading more of her work. I love how well she blended spice and plot, and that's a skill a lot of romance authors today lack. Cocoa/cozy vibes meets grump/sunshine meets forced proximity goodness!!

The premise had promise. It was a cute idea of a snow storm, forced proximity, one bed, and a second chance at romance - all tropes that I generally like, but the execution didn't work for me. It's mainly the miscommunication trope that is heavy in this story. It's not my favorite, however, if it's done well, and incorporated into the story in a manner that it makes sense for the characters to react that way, then I don't mind it. I didn't feel it happened here. I couldn't get into Becca and Harrison as a couple, either.

While it didn't work for me, I hope it's a pleasant read for someone else.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I went into this book thinking about the reviews I had read. And, I am so glad I decided to forget about the reviews. I LOVED Snowed in for Christmas! I started reading it around 10:00 in the morning and finished it by 3:00 in the afternoon. I was drawn in from the first page to the last page. Can you tell I loved this book?????
Main characters, Becca and Harrison, are so likeable and endearing in their own way. I loved the chemistry between them.
With reading Snowed in for Christmas, you will get:
Opposites attract
Forced proximity
Spicy/Hot romance
Family tension/drama
Sunshine vs. Grumpy
Miscommunication
Author Jaqualine Snowe’s writing is solid and engaging.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a cute, heartwarming holiday book to read.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I have to admit that I worried that a book about a sorority mom would be fluffy and silly and, quite frankly, too juvenile for me, but I played right into the stereotypes that plague Becca Fairfield. Instead, she is thoughtful, intuitive, and hard-working, so it’s no wonder that her girls love her and would do anything for her, unlike her grumpy neighbor, football coach Harrison Cooper who is in a major funk when it comes to his family, his players, and his love life. Until a major blizzard blows into town and forces Becca to move in with Harrison, at least until the power comes back on. With the memory of a steamy kiss teasing their every action, the two quickly decide to become Blizzard Buddies and keep each other warm throughout the rest of the storm. This spicy holiday romance finds a solid balance between plot, character development and STEAM.

This was a fun holiday read! It felt a little clunky at times. The FMC was quirky and fun - I didn't mind that she was a big personality. The premise was a lot of fun but felt rushed at the end. I wanted a little more of a reason for why the MMC didn't call her back two years ago other than that he just wasn't ready. It didn't feel like that explanation made a lot of sense considering how attractive she was to him.

After a blizzard forces Becca and Harrison into close quarters they have to come to terms with a past date.
Cute, romantic, Christmas

This was a cute easy read but I did not love the chemistry that was given between the main characters. It was a solid 3 star romance.

This was a cute Christmas/winter romance that had some really good spice but lacked a lot of character development. Becca is the house mom of a sorority and as much as she claims to love it, she is also very stuck on how other people view her and her job. Apart from her role as house mom and that her mom is desperate for her to settle down, we don’t really learn anything else about her. No mention of girlfriends or any adult colleagues. Harrison is a grumpy football coach who happens to live next door. He and Becca went on one date two years prior and then he ghosted her. He lives in the shadow of his younger brother, Hank, who also coaches college football. The timeline of their relationship felt rushed but for a cute, spicy Christmas romance, it worked.

A very sweet, quick read about a second chance romance. Loved the Christmas Hallmark movie feel with some added spice. The miscommunication between Harrison and Becca was frustrating at times, but the characters were easy to like and root for. Overall, I would recommend this cute holiday romance.

Snowed In for Christmas was a fantastic Hallmark movie of a Christmas book. It was a light-hearted grumpy/sunshine trope that took place in a blizzard situation which is my favorite. I did have to suspend belief at -60 and 2 houses with broken windows and 6 ft of snow all working out fine by New Years, but once I did that, I had an enjoyable time :-) I want Becca to be my friend in real life and I was rooting for her the entire time.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this book!

I wanted to love this one, I love a steamy Holiday romance but I just couldn’t get into this one and ended up DNFing around 37%. The characters just seemed sooo petty. And the miscommunication trope was STRONG in this one. This made the characters communication seem so immature. Some of the language between characters made me cringe. It just overall had an awkward feel that I couldn’t get past.
