If you want a Hallmark movie in the form of a book, this is it. I loved both characters and while the story was mostly predictable, it had some fun twists and a satisfying ending.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this novel.

Loved the main character but my god I just wanted to scream at them to communicate with each other. I cannot stand this trope

I love Christmas books and this did not disappoint . I was able to read this quickly and was engrossed by the plot. It was cute and witty and I enjoyed the character’s chemistry throughout.
Thanks for the publisher and NetGalley for a copy to honestly review.

Who is ready for the holidays or at least some snow? Snowed in for Christmas is set during the holiday season and a huge blizzard is about to hit the town. Neighbors Becca and Harrison had one date, two years ago. Becca thought it went well, they shared a passionate kiss and then Harrison ghosted her. Now they are neighbors and after the blizzard hits Becca needs to stay with Harrison.
This was super cute and a fast read to get you into a winter mood. Even though it was set during Christmas, they felt more like a winter novel due to the focus on the blizzard and being snowed in. Read this if you enjoy:
❄️ Second chance romance
❄️ Grumpy x sunshine
❄️ Forced proximity
❄️ Only one bed
❄️ Dual POV
❄️ Open door romance
Thanks for Forever and NetGalley for the advance readers copy. All thoughts are my own.

This was SO cute. Sorority house mom and college football coach get trapped together during a blizzard - what more could you ask for? This has grumpy/sunshine, chaotic family dynamics, and a FMC who knows what she wants! Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the free advance copy.

3.5
This was a cute book. I liked the contrast between the sunny sorority house mom and the grumpy football coach next door neighbor. They had some great conversations. I wished that the storm had passed sooner and we got them actually working on what they talked about like his implementing ideas for how to connect the football team. Having a player get hurt was unnecessary and took away from the work he truly needed to do.
Over though I did enjoy this book and would probably read more from this author.

☃️ H O L I D A Y ❄️ C U T I E ☃️ featuring “Snowed in for Christmas” by Jaqueline Snowe!
Becca is a ray of sunshine who works as a Soroity Mom and lives with a house full of college girls! While the girls go home for their holiday break, Becca is excited to sit back and relax with some books! However, a doozy of a snowstorm puts a giant wrench in her plans!!! 🌨️
A major blizzard has arrived in full force and the power goes out leaving Becca stranded alone in the giant freezing house! Her hunky next door neighbour Harrison comes to her rescue and offers her refuge at his house. Together they can be “blizzard buddies” and wait out the blizzard together around his fireplace 🔥
However, being stranded together alone is a problem. Becca and Harrison have a past. Two years prior they went on a date and shared a steamy kiss. Neither have forgotten about the kiss … but never acted on it. The weather outside is frightful …. But inside the house, things are HEATING UP! Will these two drive each other bonkers or rekindle their romance??

3.5 stars for Snowed in for Christmas.
This one is tough to rate, because I definitely enjoyed it. I found it entertaining and I read it fairly quickly. But it just seemed like it was lacking something and I can't quite pinpoint what it was.
I really liked the main character, Becca. She was quirky and different and unafraid to be herself. She was used to people, mainly men, not taking her seriously but she didn't let it upset her. She was a sorority Mom and really cared about other people and was super protective. I also liked that this book had a heavy dose of steam. Think Hallmark after dark! Could easily be the plot for a Hallmark Christmas movie but with lots of sex! I liked the grumpy versus sunshine trope and the fact that the two main characters were trapped in a blizzard with one bed and needing to snuggle together for warmth.
While entertaining, the plot was definitely a little bit predictable. But I feel like that's true of most Christmas romances. I enjoyed reading this one and I'm glad I picked it up. It had a lot of potential, but just needed something more.

Thanks to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for the eARC of this fabulous holiday romcom. The paperback is so gorgeous—I highly recommend.
Snowed In for Christmas
by Jaqueline Snowe
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (0-5)
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (0-5) I bump up for public-type places (his sister’s house—whoop).
What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Steamy holiday romcom.
🤩 All-the-feels of love, longing (ugh, they did almost wreck me during a very short time apart), lusty goodness, and laughs.
🤩 The gorgeous turquoise cover—it might be my favorite paperback cover of 2023.
🤩 The tropes: snowed in, neighbors, and grumpy/sunshine.
🤩 And, steamy like a snowed in should be, with a power outage, a fireplace, one bed, and the need to stay warm. Harrison and Becca are sizzling hot together.
🤩 He saves/takes care of her and more than once.
🤩 Second chance after one great date & one amazing kiss (right person, wrong time).
🤩 The jobs—Harrison is the college football coach and Becca is a sorority house mom.
🤩 The characterization is fantastic—they are who they are, they adore each other, they make each other better, and I just love them so much.
🤩 Families—sometimes they’re hard, but life would be so boring without them.
🤩 One of my absolute favorite parts is when Harrison is on the phone with his younger brother, who he doesn’t get along well with. The brother is being horrible on the phone and Becca shows her sunshiny colors. Quote copied from book: “Harrison, come back to bed.” Becca cupped her hands over her mouth, making her voice sound muffled. It was perfect, and I damn near proposed then and there.
What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I was a little disappointed the audible audiobook had so many errors (parts repeated and others omitted) that I had to return it for a refund. I hope they have them fixed now because the narrators were quite enjoyable.

Such a cute Christmas read! Neighbors Harrison and Becca went on a date 2 years ago and then Harrison ghosted Becca. Becca’s a little offbeat and has spent that time wondering what happened. Seeing Harrison daily doesn’t help so when a giant blizzard hits this town on Christmas Eve, obviously they end up staying together to ride it out! Although predictable (what rom-com isn’t slightly predictable, right?) this had all the Christmas feels I look For this time of the year.
Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced e-Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a really fun read! It gave me all the holiday vibes I was hoping for and I just really needed a sweet and quick read right now.
This is romance about Sorority mom Becca Fairfield and football coach Harrison Cooper who end up snowed in together when a huge storm hits right after all the students leave campus for the holidays. It has the forced proximity, one bed, and grumpy/sunshine tropes which I found a lot of fun.
This is very open door when it comes to the sex scenes so be warned if you don't like too much 🔥🔥. I personally love all levels of spice but I know its not for anyone.
The last chapter before the epilogue was just a bit too cheesy for me (I can't say more without being spoilery) but overall I enjoyed the ride. I would definitely read more by this author.

Thank you Forever Publishing and a NetGalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review. i thought this book started off a little slow and then speeds up and is a nice cozy Christmasy book. Becca is a sorority mom at a college in the midwest and they get a blizzard over Christmas. Becca is the only one in the big sorority house and ends up staying with her hot neighbor, Harrison, for the blizzard to keep each other warm and safe. This trope is a second change romance, which I am a sucker for. Becca and Harrison went one date a few years ago and nothing came from it. However, now they have these few days together with no other distractions so truly get to know each other. I love how Becca breaks down Harrison's walls and they help each other grow and be the best people they can be.

Thank you to Forever Publishing and NetGalley for my advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!
Snowed In for Christmas by Jacqueline Snowe was the perfect way to kick off my holiday romance reads season.
Second Chance
Snowed In (dangerous blizzard)
Only One Bed (it’s so cold you’ll die so please snuggle closer in front of the fire)
Grumpy-Sunshine
Sorority House Mom Heroine
Football Coach Hero
Becca was such a fun heroine; intelligent and confident in her career, admired and loved by her students, and unwilling to settle for a partner who wants to change her personality. Harrison is quiet, devoted to his career, and after a failed marriage and a lack of family support has low self-esteem. And while Harrison’s brawn and storm prep saved Becca from freezing temperatures, it was fun to watch Becca ‘rescue’ Harrison’s sense of self-worth. There is fun banter, crackling tension, tech-free days to connect, and eventually a Christmas to remember at Harrison’s sister’s house. The spice was spicing; nothing too wild, but I especially appreciated Harrison’s reverent appreciation of Becca’s passion and his praise. I read this book over two evenings and it absolutely brought repeated smiles to my face and a firm respect for mid-western winters.

Thank you so much to Forever Publishing and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book!

Shout out to my buddy read group that all read this one together! We had a great time reading and discussing the book as we finished. Buddy reads can take an ordinary book and make it feel extraordinary because it serves as a point of connection and communication. Becca feels like a typical rom-com FMC, clumsy and misunderstood in her family, and struggling with her love life. But she does seem to have a good handle on what she wants to change and when she is out of her depth. Harrison is much harder to get a solid read on at the beginning, and just like Becca, the reader has to tread lightly in order to get information out of him.
.
A one-bed trope for something besides an overbooked hotel is a nice change of pace, and as someone who grew up in small town New England the realities of bad weather read really authentic here. I was cold for them every time they mentioned the wind chill, and when they ventured outside I tried to read faster just to get them back into warmth. Becca’s enthusiasm for hot chocolate is contagious, I wanted some the whole time I was reading. This is a super cute Christmas read!

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
Becca is one of my new favorite heroines. She’s quirky, cute and unapologetically herself. I loved how her character was written. It was nice to see the FMC be the rescuer in this story and have such a strong sense of self.
The overall story is cute. This is definitely one of those books you could spend a day on the couch reading because it’s fun and not too heavy. There is a pretty decent dose of spice mixed in this book too. If that’s not your thing I’d probably skip it.

Snowed In for Christmas is a sweet, quick read that left my heart full and ready for the holiday season.
A second chance, snowed in, grumpy sunshine romance - Becca is a quirky, intelligent, passionate FMC who is always deemed "too much" but who deep down yearns to be loved for all she is. Harrison is a serious, quiet, and stern football coach whose past colors his idea of his future. The two together - locked in a once in a life time blizzard and with a two year ago kiss lingering in their past - come together to form one of the cutest romances I have read in awhile.
I absolutely loved big boy Harrison - his resting bitch face on campus, his moody/broody attitude made seeing his character develop so swoon worthy. Also, his mouth - how he uses it and his words, were just hot as hell. I truly adored Becca's take no prisoners approach to her own personality - I related so hard to her nervous rambling and never ending talking and being a woman who is "too much" myself - I was so happy to see her get her HEA. The open door spice in this was also fantastic - nothing crazy or kinky, just good old fashion passion that made this Hallmark romance spark a little brighter.
I loved this one so much - so glad I had the opportunity to read, and I look forward to more stories from Jaqueline Snowe in the upcoming years!

Well, I’ve gotten my first holiday read finished! It was a cute one. I loved that it took place in small-town Illinois since that’s where I grew up. I liked both Becca and Harrison’s characters. Their banter was perfect! However, it was a bit spicy for my tastes and the miscommunication trope is used, which is my least favorite. I do think fans of the grumpy/sunshine dynamic, one bed scenario, and forced proximity will enjoy this festive romcom.
My rating: 3.5 stars rounded up

Sorority mom Becca is on her own for the holidays, but when a blizzard lands on her doorstep and she loses power, she accepts shelter from neighbor Harrison, the football coach next door who ignored her for years following a steamy kiss.
This is a lighthearted holiday romance with a bit of spice. The connection between Becca and Harrison felt a bit superficial (lust/insta attraction) so I wanted a bit more relationship development and didn't totally buy their chemistry. If you like forced proximity and are looking for wintery vibes - this may be up your alley.

A holiday book with spice and heart.
Becca is a house mom for a sorority. She loves her job and the connection she has with the girls and the opportunity she has to help create the next generation of strong women. Unfortunately the men she dates don't get her job or that she is happy being herself. She is looking forward to spending the Christmas holidays alone in the house. An unfortunate broken window, run away clothes, and a cut brings grumpy, football coach neighbor Harrison back into her life. They went on a date 2 years ago and then he ghosted her. Now with a blizzard descending on the town they are thrown together and become blizzard buddies. He insists she stay at his house when the power goes out and the wind chill dips. As they spend time together they learn more about each other and find ways to stay warm. But is this only for the blizzard or can they find a way to communicate what they truly want?

I thought this was a very cute, light and perfect holiday romance. Snowe captures the magic and realism of a snowed in situation and made me want to curl up by the fire.
