This is one of the best Christmas books I’ve read this year. The characters are wonderful and I loved the way their relationship progressed through the book.

Becca is the house mom for a sorority, and is staying in the house over Christmas. She’s got food and her books, and figures she’ll be fine during an upcoming blizzard. Unfortunately, she’s underestimated the blizzard’s power and isn’t prepared when the power goes.

Her neighbor Harrison is the handsome coach of the football team who recently shared a steamy kiss with Becca. As the blizzard rages, he rescues Becca from the now frigid sorority house.
Without power, the only way to stay warm is to build a fire, sleep in front of it, and share body heat. Becca and Harrison enthusiastically embrace their plight, and each other.

There’s much more to the story when they talk about their lives but you’ll have to read the book! 4 stars.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my own.

IS IT WARM IN HERE OR IS IT JUST ME? Whew! What a wonderfully steamy book. The chemistry was spot on. The banter was PERFECT. The grumpy x sunshine? Absolutely winning! Give me more of this please because I am not ready for it to be over.

Are you looking for a silly and super spicy Christmas romcom? Well here it is. When a blizzard hits, two neighbors rely on each other for warmth and safety in this forced proximity romance (with a bit of a second chance aspect tossed in). And you probably guessed we get an only one bed trope too. I really enjoyed the grumpy sunshine pairing of characters and being able to see how their anxiety about who they are is shown in this dual pov novel. I can also say I'm so glad we don't get that kind of weather down south because I never want to be in those temperatures (again) in my life! I was a little concerned they would get a little hypothermia during the spicy scenes but they made it through safely.

I had fun. It was cute. 4.5 stars (sometimes the use of the word orgasm so much made me cringe).

Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions.

So I wanted to love this book so much! However, I felt that it was kind of forced and there was so much miscommunication I ended up getting frustrated and giving up! All in all this just wasn’t for me.

What a fun lighthearted holiday read!

After a window breaks in the sorority house during winter break, young house mother Becca is forced to seek shelter and help from the one person she never wants to see again: The guy who took her on a date and prompt ghosted her 2 years ago. Harrison, the college’s football coach, opens his house to Becca half heartedly but soon, the two have to snuggle for warmth during the massive blizzard and one thing leads to another….

This one was quick, fun, and really cute! I really enjoyed the two characters and their quirks alongside the steamy romance and fun subplots. I was fully invested and loved it!

It’s right before Christmas, and sorority house mom Becca Fairfield is getting ready to hunker down alone as her girls depart for winter break. When a freak blizzard throws her together with her neighbor, cranky head football coach Harrison Cooper, it might be below freezing outdoors, but it’s hot and steamy inside!

This is the perfect grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, holiday rom com to get you in the Christmas spirit. Becca is seriously adorable – quirky, feisty, colorful – and Harrison is the cutest grouch ever! Their banter is funny, awkward, and endearing, and the chemistry between them is hot, hot, hot! If you ever wished for Hallmark Christmas movies to come with an R-rating, this darling blizzard buddy romance is for you!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for providing me an advance copy of this book.

Happy, quirky, cute Sorority mom, Becca is neighbors with grumpy football coach, Harrison. They had a date two years earlier and Harrison ghosted Becca. But now a blizzard brings them back together and a fun romance ensues between two opposites. Super steamy and super fun!

OMG! This book gave me a book hangover and I don't know if any of the other Christmas stories I read this year will measure up!

It's cute, it's steamy, it's Snowed In for Christmas.

Highly Recommend to get you in the holiday mood.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an arc. All opinions expressed are my own.

When sorority mom Becca is trapped in the sorority house over winter break without her girls or electricity or heat or a wood reserve, she takes up her hot football coach neighbor's offer to stay with him and his fireplace for the holidays... even though they went on what she thought was a fabulous date two years ago and he ghosted her. But time has passed, and the attraction is still there, and they say body heat is the best means of keeping warm, no?

I went into this book not really knowing what to expect, and ended up thoroughly enjoying it. Snowed in, only one bed, and holiday romance are some of the best tropes and themes out there, and this book capitalizes on all of them. Becca and Harrison were fabulous together and Snowe captured their chemistry well. I also loved learning more about Becca's unique job as a sorority house mom; it's not a profession we see a lot of books. All in all, a great holiday romance read that hits all the standard marks while not feeling redundant! Would recommend.

Thanks to Forever for my eARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love love the grumpy/sunshine trope and this novel is next level. I loved the relationship between Harrison and Becca with his stoicism and her offbeat personality crashing together to delightful results

Their chemistry was off the charts but it wasn't just spice. There was a real genuine connection that I could feel as the reader!

This is a really cute Christmas read. As a girl who lived in a sorority house for two years I can say that house moms are absolutely not late 20 somethings who are your older sister like bestie lol but it did bring back many a wonderful sorority house memory.

Becca and Harrison are the epitome of grumpy sunshine and each have their own family drama to work through. I enjoyed the blizzard/snowed in together aspect. It felt far more real than most “snowed in” books. I did feel like they were both a bit too over the top in their characterizations but it was still a fun, sweet, quick Christmas read.

Happy Pub Day to Snowed in for Christmas!
.
There are different types of holiday books - those about the holiday, those set during the holiday, and some are a combo. This book is set during Christmas and it’s a perfect read with twinkling holiday lights, some cocoa, and snuggly blanket - especially if you live in an area that gets snow (like me)!
.
I love that the author lets you know that she got to know her (now) husband while being snowed in with him…and it was the inspiration for this story.
.
Becca is a sorority house mom and Harrison is a coach at a college. They went on a previous date and he pretty much ghosted her after. Becca is clumsy with a huge heart. Harrison is grumpy, a thinker vs a speaker, and completely hot for Becca.
.
It’s a romance full of grumpy/shine, opposites attract, forced proximity, (kind of) second chance romance, and full of steam! With Christmas break being the backdrop of the story. I have to say, I am here for all of it!

The biggest thanks to @netgalley and @readforeverpub for the opportunity to read Snowed in for Christmas!

This book had such potential and sounded so good!!! Neighbors get snowed in together when a big storm blows in, giving them a second chance at love. However, it felt very surface level, with lots of gratuitous banging. I wanted more emotional depth to this story and was left wanting more if I'm completely honest. A good first attempt and I would still read more by this author, but her debut was a bit disappointing for me. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!

A holiday read where the two main characters are stuck together in the middle of a blizzard, without power and forced to tough it out together - yes please!

I loved this Christmasy read so much and drank in all the fun banter, Becca and her bright and colorful spirit, her hot chocolate obsession and quirky ways. I enjoyed the unfortunate incidents that brought the main characters even closer and obviously the spice. The only thing I did not care for was the miscommunication, especially when it had been drug out for far too long. Thankfully the story didn’t falter too much due to it and in the end this was a great holiday read 💖🎄

Thank you Forever, NetGalley and Jaqueline Snowe for the copy of this book 💖

First, I'm impressed the copy I got was an unedited version. There were very few errors and I loved that! This book was cute, steamy, and feel good. I loved that he loved and appreciated every quirk she has and didn't try to make her change. Both lead characters were great. The only thing I didn't like was all constant misunderstanding and lack of communication. All in all, this was a great Christmas romance. Thanks for the chance to read this!

Meet Becca- the vibrant, loving house mom to a sorority of 50 girls. She fills the world with color and can make anyone feel at home.

Cue Harrison- the grumpy, shut off football coach that lives next door. He always has a chip on his shoulder and feels his team crumbling out of his control.

After a hopeful first date, Harrison ghosted Becca and they haven’t talked much since. That is until a blizzard hits over Christmas break forcing the two to be snow buddies. Will the forced proximity break the tension or is Harrison’s heart too cold to melt?

This is one that started off slow for me but then really took off halfway through. I enjoyed Becca’s character and loved her honesty! This book definitely had more spice than I was expecting (like as early as chapter 10 spice!) overall, it was a cute read to start off my Christmas spirit!

You’ll enjoy this one if you like
grumpy x sunshine trope
forced proximity
second chance romance
rated R hallmark vibes

Cozy Christmas came early with this one! Was this a bit on the nose? Sure, but it was such a warm hot cocoa delight that I didn’t care. A grumpy-sunshine pair is perfect for the holiday season and Becca and Harrison were perfect MCs and brought out the best in each other. I don’t need my Christmas rom-comes doing too much so this was the perfect distraction and start to the holiday season!

This was a perfectly fine holiday romance. I thought the chemistry between the two main characters was really good and I enjoyed their interactions. I did feel like the third act conflict was a bit clunky and didn’t fully make sense. Overall a fine read that will get you into the holiday spirit.

In the mood for a snowed-in, forced-proximity, sweet and steamy, grumpy-sunshine, holiday romance? Have I got the book for you!

I loved this story. It's funny, awkward, emotional, sexy. It gave me so many feels on so many levels. Becca is a quirky, out-of-the-box character who is humiliatingly aware that some people find her annoying and "too much." Shoot, Harrison (who ghosted her two years ago after one date) admits he did so because he thought she was high maintenance. Also, because his head wasn't in a good place at the time but still...he ghosted her! Kudos to the author for not glossing over that. I loved how Becca held him accountable for it, how they brought it into the open, how they communicated, that Harrison owned up to his behavior and sincerely apologized. There were many behaviors (between the main couple) that I was happy to applaud in this story.

This book has all the ingredients for a light, fun, steamy rom-com - and there's plenty of that - but Snowe takes it deeper and I am here for it. I love Harrison's growth, the fact that he becomes open to it, in both his personal and work life, and that it's initiated by the time he spends with Becca. I appreciate the time taken to show the toxic results of actions by certain members of his family and the changes that occur when he finally stands his ground. Becca is a character I admired and happily cheered on. She readily admits she's not everyone's cup of tea but I found her endearing, admirable, and bubbling over with life, love, and the right priorities firmly in place. These two match like the last two pieces of a puzzle. They just needed a "snowpocalypse" to force them to look below the surface of who they thought the other was and discover the endearing complexities that make them the perfect fit for each other.

I had not heard of Jaqueline Snowe before reading Snowed In for Christmas (twice) but you can bet I'll be checking out her back list immediately. I love her writing voice and am excited to read more of her work. This one has my enthusiastic recommendation.
