Thank you @readforeverpub for a copy of this fun forced proximity story. Becca is a sorority mom and is snowed in during holiday break and is forced to stay with Harrison, the hot football coach. They had 1 date awhile back and it never went anywhere. This story went from 0-60 real quick with the snow storm. There was some fun parts with their interaction but their love story felt rushed.

For those seeking a steamy holiday romance, this book might be a perfect choice. Becca's bubbly and colorful personality shines through, and her role as a sorority house mother adds a sweet touch to the story. The 'blizzard-buddy' fling between Becca and Harrison is passionate and filled with explicit details. Despite some initial reservations, the characters find themselves in a steamy and lighthearted romance.
A big thank you to Netgalley and Jaqueline Snowe for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you’re looking for a hallmark with spice Christmas book, I recommend reading. It was very fast paced and easy to read. The story follows 2 neighbors stuck together from a terrible snow storm during Christmas. Harrison the grumpy football coach has offered refuge to frat house mom Becca. Forced proximity, lots of tension, grumpy vs sunshine. Thank you to Net Galley for an early digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

To all the spicy lovers out there, this cute romcom is for you!
This was such a cute holiday romcom! Becca’s character was adorable and Harrison sounded like a burly bear.
I loved the banter between the MCs, Becca’s random facts she shared, and that this book touched upon the subject of toxic family.
The dual POV really helped the reader understand what was holding each character back, what stopped them from saying how they felt/what was on their mind.
And coming from someone who almost exclusively reads books about dead bodies and things that go bump in the night, the steamy scenes had me clutching my pearls! Oh my, Harrison!
My best guess at the tropes:
Grumpy/sunshine
Opposites attract
Forced proximity
One bed
Second chance - maybe? Not sure if this would qualify based upon google’s definition of the trope lol

DNF. I really liked the premise but the writing did not work for me at all. It wouldn't be fair to the book if I finished reading and gave it a low rating.

Snowed in for Christmas follows Becca as she prepares to shelter-in-place for a record breaking blizzard. Becca is fiercely independent as a Sorority House Mom, but when a window at the house breaks hours before the blizzard is set to start even she can’t refuse the help of her handsome neighbour, Harrison. The only problem is that Becca and Harrison went on a date 2 years prior and Harrison ghosted her.
Becca tells readers that throughout the past 2 years she has been on countless dates where she has been described as too quirky, too much, and straight up annoying. It’s hard to disagree with those assessments. Becca was difficult to like since she was annoying with all her nervous ramblings and difficult to take seriously because of her job. If Snowe wanted to show a different side of a Sorority House Mom she shouldn’t have gave Becca stereotypical personality traits then do nothing to subvert them.
Harrison is a bland love interest. He’s grumpy and stoic, which gives him almost no personality throughout the book.
The romance between Becca and Harrison felt forced and, at times, awkward. They were supposed to have some residual chemistry from their date 2 years prior, but Snowe spent her time telling readers about their chemistry rather than showing readers through a flashback. The spice is fire hot, but, like mentioned previously, felt forced.
I would hardly classify Snowed in for Christmas a Christmas novel despite the name. There were only a couple chapters that actually dealt with Christmas and those lacked the Christmas cheer I was looking for.
Overall, Snowed in for Christmas had an interesting premise, but the annoying characters and lack of Christmas cheer made the novel difficult to enjoy for what it was.

Perfect for if you want to curl up with a warm drink and dream about the holidays. Becca and Harrison are forced to spend time together when a Xmas blizzard hits.
A bit heavy on inner dialogue and slowly paced, but a good holiday romance,

I really liked the premise of this book - a man and woman who have a past (he had ghosted her after a first date two years ago) are snowed in together during a blizzard. Sets the scene for a perfect second-chance romance.
The romance between the two main characters, and the characters themselves, fell a little flat for me. There was a lack of real depth to the characters, and I didn't buy their chemistry. This one just wasn't for me.

3.5 rounded down. Really cute story overall. Loved the premise. Kept thinking there was no way it was written by someone that actually lived somewhere cold and with snow. Got to the acknowledgements and saw she lives in Arizona. Several things not realistic. Also thought too many family drama issues with both characters, and thought the coach and team leadership storyline was a little too after school special. But overall enjoyable and cute.

This book was the sweetest most fast paced book I could’ve hoped to read. I love a good grumpy/sunshine book and this one was no letdown. Harrison’s character was grumpy but he wasn’t an asshole. I fell in love with Becca’s happy go lucky personality and it reminded me so much of my own, especially with the books and knitting. Harrison and Becca’s story was adorable, I could really feel the genuine love between these two and their character development was so well done. I loved the protective nature they had for one another. This is the perfect book for the holiday season. It is extremely bingeable, lighthearted, spicy and full of Christmas antics!

This book started out really strong, a second chance romance with grumpy and sunshine characters that are forced to share a house in the few days leading up to Christmas.
Harrison and Becca are truly opposites attract, and that’s where I started to struggle with them. I completely understood the attraction between the two of them, but I didn’t feel the emotions. There were two many times where they just shut down on each other.
The end wrapped things up a little too quickly to be believable, especially since they were living right next door to each other but no contact for days.

This is the perfect cozy Christmas-y book! It was full of cute, fun moments along with real vulnerable moments that made the story so well balanced! There is nothing better than a grumpy/sunshine couple who are forced to spend time together.
The fact that that Harrison and Becca went on one date two years ago and the he ghosted her?? And now they’re stuck together for who knows how long?? It was the literal perfect storm for them to sort out their issues. They were both SO DIFFERENT. Becca was literal sunshine and Harrison was the grumpiest person ever. But somehow they worked so well. They understood each other on a deeper level than any other person in their lives. I just wish we could have seen them together out in the world! I want to see how cute they are outside of their little high pressure bubble!
The epilogue was so sweet! It was the perfect full circle moment for them!

Thank you to Forever Publishing for gifting me an ARC of Snowed in for Christmas.
Snowed in for Christmas by Jaqueline Snowe is a quirky, spicy romcom centering around a next door neighbors: a delightful, sunshiny sorority house mom, Becca Fairfield, and, a handsome, grumpy football 🏈 coach Harrison Cooper. Two years ago, the next-door neighbors Becca and Harrison went on one date, but they have rarely spoken since that time. Now, the pair have a second chance to reunite during a blizzard 🥶.
This is book makes me want to grab a cup of hot chocolate and sit wrapped in blanket by the fireplace 🔥 Well, maybe not at the present moment but in a month. It still feels like summer in my area, and the only weather notices I receive at the moment are in regards to excessive heat and hurricanes 🌀 in my area
This book tugged on my heartstrings! Half the book I wanted Becca and Harrison to reunite. The other half, I wanted Harrison to take a long walk off a short pier. Becca is so warm and bubbly while Harrison is such a grinch!
I do wish there was a chapter highlighting two years earlier. I would have loved to know more about Becca’s thoughts during the first date as well as be able to more clearly see the character development.
Overall, I sincerely enjoyed reading this contemporary holiday romance, and I highly recommend it this holiday season 🎄

A very cute Christmas/winter themed rom com with quite a few spicy scenes. This was a very cozy read and the romance flowed nicely. The setting was unique and a bit Friday Night Lights. A classic snowed in during a storm romance.

I wanted to love this book, it had such a cute premise and a great cover, but it just slightly missed the mark for me. I liked the characters, but didn’t fall in love with them. And the relationship between the two seemed forced and unbelievable. It was an ok book, that some might love, but for me it was a miss. I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

This was such a cute and steamy Christmas romance! I love a good forced proximity trope and this delivered.
This follows sorority mom Becca and the school football coach Harrison, who have opposite personalities. They are brought together because of a blizzard and it’s so cozy and fun. 🙌🏼 perfect book to kick of the holiday season with!

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for one-bed, one-room, one-house, snowed-in trope, but damn did this book taste my patience.
Again not necessarily a bad book, but not for me, I guess.
It was a comparatively shorter book than other romance books (as per the NetGalley pages), and more than half of it was full of hook-ups (read: excessive steam) between the MCs.
Hey I'm all in for the steam but I didn't find the "love" aspect in this story. It was more lust than love.
Sorry to say it wasn't for me.

I thought this was adorable. When I first read the description and it was grumpy/sunshine I thought, yes, I need this. Becca is the house mom for a sorority and everyone loves her. She is bright and colorful and takes care of her girls. Harrison is the football coach and with their season ending earlier than they were hoping, he isn't sure how much longer he will have a job. When everyone goes home for Christmas and a freak snowstorm happens, Becca and Harrison have no choice but to work together to make it through the week.
Harrison took Becca on a date two years ago and then avoided her immediately. Ghosted her and turns away when she comes near. The only reason he did this is because he could see himself falling for her and he definitely wasn't in the head space for all that. After his divorce and his family drama he just wants to be left alone, or so he thinks. Turns out, having Becca in his house feels normal, like this was always how it was meant to be. So is this snowstorm fling turning into more for both of them, or will they leave it in the past as soon as the power comes back on and they don't need one another's warmth anymore?
Harrison had so many deep seeded issues from his past with his wife, to his brother and parents basically being terrible to him. Becca took all of his hang ups in stride. She was just there for him no matter what and he could see that is how a relationship should be. It was easy and shouldn't feel like work all the time. Someone who accepts you as you are and doesn't make you feel bad about it.
Thank you to Forever, Jaqueline Snowe and Netgalley for an early copy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 stars
thank you netgalley and forever for an ARC!
*miscommunication trope is not my favorite which knocked a few points off my end.* this book was a good as a palette cleanser between thick, heavy books. this would totally be a cute, steamy read for the christmas-y time. although, the title seems a tad misleading to me because i felt like they didn’t emphasize it being christmas time much other than mentioning it being december like once…
i’m also a sucker for a book that gives the hallmark movie vibe and this did just that for me in the sense of the relationship between the main characters.
overall, i liked it and think the characters are very easy to like together as well as separately!
