Holiday break has come, and along with it, a huge blizzard. When the power goes out, Harrison, the college football coach, makes his way next door to get Becca, the sorority house mom, so that they can at least be stranded together. Having a buddy through this snowstorm just makes sense, but as the chemistry between them heats up, Becca has to keep in mind that Harrison is not dating material and remind herself of the time he ghosted her after what she thought was a great date.

I knew this book would be a winner when I was laughing out loud in the first couple chapters. This book was just so much fun! I loved seeing Becca and Harrison unravel each other’s layers as they got to know each other - and both characters have so much more to them than what meets the eye. Their chemistry was insane and this story had the perfect amount of steam. I also enjoyed the pieces that included their jobs and how special it was that they had such a great relationship with their students. This book gave all the fun cozy, winter/holiday vibes!

Becca Fairfield is the sorority mom at a sorority house where she looks after a bunch of college girls. She’s focused on her job, and hasn’t found the right guy yet. She’s quirky and the guys she’s dated haven’t understood her. That includes the football coach next door, Harrison Cooper. When Becca and Harrison went on a date two years ago, he ghosted her. Now, they’re both home alone during a huge blizzard. When the power goes out and one of the sorority house’s windows breaks, Harrison insists that Becca come to his house to wait out the storm. The freezing temperatures force them to cuddle to warm each other up with their body heat. They agree to just be “Blizzard Buddies” and have a short romance during the storm, but it isn’t easy to let go of these new feelings once the snow clears.

I have to admit, I felt cold while reading this story about the snow storm. It was scary to imagine a storm like that, especially when they lost power in severely cold temperatures. Becca and Harrison’s romance was out of convenience, since they were attracted to each other while they were snowed in, but they did have some things in common that made it seem like the relationship would last. The story had a really cute ending too!

Snowed In for Christmas is a cute holiday romance!

This was a cute and spicy holiday romance. If you enjoy grumpy/sunshine and forced proximity/one bed tropes you’ll enjoy this book. There was a lot of fun banter as well as some deeper conversations. I will say the miscommunication towards the end was a little unbelievable and the ending seemed to move a little too quickly. Overall, it was a very enjoyable read. Thank you too NetGalley and Forever Books for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you to Netgalley, Forever Publishing, and the author for the ARC!

Becca went out with Harrison, her neighbor, 2 years ago and it great, or so she thought… but she must have read all the vibes wrong because he ghosted her. A blizzard is scheduled to hit town, and hole up in Harrison’s house and wait out the storm.
Things heat up between quickly.
Read for:
-Forced proximity
-grumpy sunshine
- one bed
-second chance love

I thought it was pretty predictable and cheesy and didn’t expect all the spice after the Hallmark-y start to the book.

Grumpy sunshine is my favorite trope so it’s no surprise I loved this one. This spicy Christmas story is one to definitely add to the Christmas tbr !

In the category of chick-lit romance I am giving this book 3.5 stars and rounding up to 4 stars. "Snowed In for Christmas" is the story of a Sorority "house-mom" rescued by her next door neighbor and college football coach during a weekend blizzard during the Christmas holiday. Personally speaking as a sorority woman, I appreciate the tact and tone author Jaqueline Snowe used when writing about sorority women and sorority life. Snowe focuses on the positive aspects of Greek life in regards to service projects, friendships and character building when writing about the experience of her female protagonist who is a house-mom for a sorority. I found this book to be a quick and fun "vacation read" and it definitely fits the category of romance due to several spicy scenes. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my fair and honest review.

This cute little story has quite a bit of smut in it! Readers looking for that would enjoy this. I tend to prefer a slow burn so it didn’t give me all the feels, but the characters were sweet, there was some extra family drama here and there and I was entertained.

Fun grumpy/sunshine holiday romance.

Becca is a sweet, fun loving sorority house mom. Harrison is her grumpy football couch neighbor who she has avoided since they had a date two years ago and he ghosted her.

Some miscommunication on the ghosting, which we learn later.

Then a huge snowstorm hits. The college kids have gone home for Christmas. Power goes out at the sorority house and Harrison offers to let her stay at his home where he has a fireplace. She reluctantly agrees.

This was a sweet romance, and Harrison ends up more awkward than grumpy.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Forever for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

TL;DR:
- 3.25 stars
- Content warnings: drunk driving, car accident
- Forced proximity grump-sunshine romance that can be a very quick festive read for the holidays.

Loved:
- Sometimes I like to just pick up a very quick and steamy read and this was just that. Gotta love when something scratches an itch!

Less into:
- I really had a hard time with these characters; they were not mature enough to be dating each other, and much of the book was their inner monologues about how they felt the other person felt about them (mostly projections). You're trapped in a house together with no power! Just talk out loud!
- There was a significant feeling of insta-love once you got past the hurdle of their first miscommunication, or maybe insta-lust. I'm not opposed to that, usually! But just know it going in.
- There's a car accident towards the end that is kind of... glossed over? It's a huge turning point in the characters' growth arc but the actual content of the accident and repercussions are so minimal that I was a little frustrated.

Pick up for a quick holiday read - can be read in one sitting - or accidentally in two very far apart ones if you're me :)

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

SNOWED IN FOR CHRISTMAS BY @jaquelinesnowe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH. please do not judge the book by the description!! it sounds so beyond cheesy but honestly they are some of my favorite characters ever!!! Our FMC is so unapologetically herself, you can’t help but love her cringe and all and the MMC is a grump that’s just misunderstood. This book was tugging on my heart strings in a major way and I can NOT RECOMMEND this enough!!!! Please pick this up, it’s the perfect winter romance!!!

Snowed in for Christmas was a cute read! Winter/cozy vibes are my favorite, so I loved that the characters were trapped together in a snowstorm. I had a fun time reading this one.

Thank you to Netgalley, Grand Central Publishing, and the author for the ARC!
Synopsis: Two years ago, Becca went on a date with Harrison and it couldn’t have gone better. Or so she thought… but she must have read all the signs wrong because he never called her back. Now neighbors and with a blizzard hitting town, the two of them must pool their resources together and wait out the storm.
My thoughts: This book was cute and had a lot of good tropes — Forced proximity, grumpy sunshine, one bed, & second chance! The storyline was definitely cheeeesy but still cute! I loved that Becca spoke her mind and was unapologetically her quirky, fun self. And Harrison was the cutest grump/grinch!! I wasn’t expecting so much steam because the first half of the book had a wholesome hallmark feel. It was a little much for me but that’s just my personal preference. I think I am all Christmas romanced out for the year, but it was a fun month of reading some sweet holiday love stories!

What a cute book to read right before Christmas! There were many things I enjoyed about this book: the banter, Becca’s personality, the fact they were snowed in together! The miscommunication was definitely a huge factor in the book, and while at times I could definitely relate (especially as a fellow over thinker), at other times I just wanted to shake both of the main characters and tell them to get out of their heads. The book was also a little bit ramble-y at times (again with the rollercoaster thoughts), but as long as you are prepared for this, I think you will enjoy it!

I rate this book 3.5 stars!

This book was so fun! It was a warm cup of cocoa-Christmas romcom! Becca and Harrison gave us full on opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine! When a snow-mageddon blizzard force them to rely on each other, they must face a confusing and uncomfortable past complicated by a present swirling with attraction and feelings that are influenced by all their insecurities and vulnerabilities. I enjoy sportsmances that involve a coach, it’s a refreshing twist!
Realizing you cannot judge a book by the cover, these two MCs get a second chance, and the validation and healing they offer one another was so sweet! This was perfect and heartwarming read that can be enjoyed any time of the year!

I didn’t read nearly as many holiday romances this year that I wanted to (check by for my Christmas in July!) but the few I did, I loved. Especially this one! Thank you Forever Publishing for giving me the opportunity to read this book, it let me combine an author I really enjoy and my favorite holiday/time of the year.

I definitely pictured Anna Faris's character from The House Bunny, Shelley, whenever I was listening/reading to Snowed In for Christmas.

Becca cannot wait for the quiet peace of the soriority house this holiday season. Waking up to a freezing home and a blizzard outside, she has to rely on the company of Harrison Cooper. Harrison- the one date/avoider man that he is. It's just a friendly check in and enjoying one another's company, what's the worst that will happen?

Listening to Snowed In for Christmas, dual narrated by Hannah Church and Liam Lambert, was the highlight of my reading experience. I couldn't connect to the characters and found their miscommunication to be messy, as it happened twice in one reading. While a steamy binge listen, it's not one I'll be running to pick up again next holiday season.

Thank you Forever Publishing for my finished copy and audio code.

I really enjoyed this book! It had some good forced proximity which is one of my favourite tropes! I also liked that it was relatable in the sense that if you’re in the dating world right now, you’ll totally understand the main character. The story had me laughing, but there were also some serious parts in it. Overall a really good Christmas read!

This steamy second chance will keep you warm on the coldest of nights. Becca is left alone in a large sorority house where she is the house mom. A little ways over the grumpy football coach is settling into his home ready for a once in a lifetime blizzard. Harrison and Becca went on a date once before and he behaved badly after. But he couldn’t leave her alone in that big house. After some charming convincing and witty banter Harrison convinces Becca to stay with him, blizzard buddies. The chemistry and conversation reach epic heights but honesty and accountability make Hot Harrison even hotter

Snowed in for Christmas by @jaquelinesnowe is by far my favorite Christmas read! Truly it may be my favorite romance that I have read this year! The story that develops between Becca and Harrison is as detailed and heartwarming as it is spicy!!!! It is a must read in the last few days(or even after) we have left of the Christmas season!
