Wonderful to be back in Lindfordshire. Taking a trip back to 2021 was tough, but in the company of the good friends created by Catherine Fox it was cathartic. This picture of people, parish, clergy and cathedral is written with love, wit and joy. I am thankful for Catherine's presence and voice.

Return once again to the Lindchester community in this fifth book in the series.
Set during the pandemic of 2021 - it’s a fly on the wall look at the lives of the residents during the pandemic, when we had to meet outside and when vaccines were in the infancy stages.
Loved how the monthly chapters took you through the seasons for a whole year.
You really got to know the characters and their families
An enjoyable, comforting read - leaving you with hope that grace can be found in the darkest of times.
Thanks @fictionfox @SPCKPublishing & @netgalley for the eARC

I'm a fan of Barbara Pym and love Jan Caron's Mitford stories so I thought that this book was a choice for me and I was right.
It's the last in a series and this means I have more stories to read.
Cosy, well plotted, and entertaining.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this arc, all opinions are mine
