This of one of those stories you just sit and devour. The insta love is a hit and miss for me, but I ended up enjoying it. Could it be better? Yes, but hey sometimes you need a story like this to just sit and have a good time.

For nEver is about Jace and Penny and is told from both of their points of view. Penny gets a new job and Jace is her boss. Early one morning he calls her and tells her she needs to show up to a plane.

It turns out Jace needs her to pretend to be his fiancée for a family reunion. Penny freaks out a little but needs the money to help her mom pay some medical bills.

This book is hilarious. So many things happened that had me laughing out loud. What happens when they are forced to be together? What happens with Jace's family? What happens when their time is up?

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick listen. I'm excited to read more by this author!

This one was so different from what I was used to by Aurora Rose Reynolds, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The audio is fantastic!

Penny thought she would just be working a temp job over the summer as Jace Ellis’ secretary, however, she wasn’t ready to be in his private plane agreeing to be his fake fiancé for a week with his family. But its hard to say no to that kind of money, and say no to Jace.

You should read For nEver if you like fake dating, contemporary romance, billionaire, forced proximity, boss x employee, grumpy x sunshine, great banter, great side characters and a HEA. Be warned there is a sprinkle of insta-love in this book!

This was such a fun book! The vibes were so good. Fake dating is one of my all time favourite book tropes and this did not disappoint. The only thing that would have made this book better was having Jace’s POV, while he seemed to dislike Penny at the beginning of the book I just *know* that he secret was already in love with her.

I received an audiobook version of this book and it was amazing. Pippa Jayne did a great job with the narration.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy for an honest review.

HEA: yes
spice: several open-door spicy scenes
TWs: cheating (past), cancer (remission)
standalone: yes
final thoughts: I couldn’t put this down! I listened to the audiobook and needed to speed it up, for my personal preference, and the sound/voice didn’t get distorted at all. I loved the MMC who is seen as a workaholic grump but really it just seems like no one ever takes the time to talk to him or get to know him other than his “reputation”. I loved this dirty talking, possessive MMC and seeing his personality come through as the book went on!
The FMC was a typical likable, bubbly 1st grade teacher who is thrown out of her depth when asked to be the fake fiancé to her temporary boss that she’s only just met.
It was very insta-lovey since they went from strangers to actual lovers within 1 week span but at the same time there was a lot of pining with a slowburn until it went from 0-100 (YAY). I wish it was a bit longer so we could see more of the tension between the family members, some slip ups of the fake dating aspects, and “back to reality” scenes … BUT what we got I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend!

For nEver is a comically quirky romance that you will not want to put down. Taking a temp job for the summer as a secretary to help out a friend and save up some money for a trip, Penny finds herself working with the grumpy tech billionaire Jace Ellis. Next thing she knows she is on his private plane pretending to be his fiancé for a weeklong family reunion. Both are stubbornly set in just getting through the week one family activity at a time. Their back and forth is amusing and relatable. It is a sweet story with How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days vibes.

Special thanks to Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I absolutely devoured this book! I love the plot, the setting, and especially the characters 😍. The narrator wasn't my favorite, but that's really just a personal preference. I definitely see myself purchasing a physical copy!

This is the first time I have ever listened to an audio book. I don't really know why. I thought it would be difficult to connect or understand as English is not my native language. But the experience was fascinating. I loved every second of it.
This is Penny's story. She gets a temporary job to cover for one of her best friends, who is on maternity leave.
Her boss Jace is yummy but not that nice. But when he offers Penny a deal, she can't refuse. She will spend one week in his family's house pretending to be his fiancée. Easy, right?
You must read or listen to this book. You will fall in love with Penny and Jace and above all, his big and crazy family.
I laughed a lot with some events and the narrator is just awesome.

Pippa Jayne's voice was perfect Penny Voice. The way she narrated accentuated every funny moment one notch up. Reading the book with her voice in my ear had me cracking up loud.

Fake dating is one of my all time favorite tropes. It was done so well in this one. This book was fun and steamy. I just loved it. I read it in one sitting because I could not put it down. Penny is great and so relatable. Jace is so standoffish at first but such a cinnamon roll when you get to know him. Jace's family was so awesome. I loved their relationship. His grandmother had me laughing! Dying cat! LOL IYKYK! I cannot wait to read more by this author. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

This was a surprise to me. The cover and synopsis made me think he was going to be a asshole in general that we end up loving. Yes hes tough and can be a dick. But hes the perfect grumpy to her sunshine. I really enjoyed this book and am interested in checking out more of this authors books.

Thank you Netgalley & Dreamscape Media for an ALC of For nEver by Aurora Rose Reynolds. I always enjoy a fake-dating trope, and hello, look at the cover of this one. How could I not request it! I loved the audio version of this. The narrator was amazing and had me hooked on the story the whole time. This is a enemies to lovers, boss romance. It was fast-paced quick romance that at first was a little unbelievable. But as the story went on I forgot that it was a quick romance and loved every second.

2.5 Stars rounded up to 3

I didn’t buy into the love story in this one. Everything happened way too fast. I totally get the instant lust, but Penny and Jace didn’t spend enough time together to actually love each other. They go from meeting on Monday to flying to his family reunion on Saturday while pretending to be fake engaged to being real engaged the following week. He says he has loved her from first sight, but his actions say otherwise. He basically abandons her to the family and works through the whole reunion.

To be honest, the narrator for the audiobook helped me finish this book. She was great and made it feel as if a friend was telling you about this crazy thing that happened to her.

I love a good fast paced hate to love romance! Even though we could see the end coming from the beginning I still really enjoyed the read and the narrater.

If you're looking for a sweet and funny love story to dive into, then 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬' 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓 is definitely worth checking out. This book follows two people who initially start off on the wrong foot but ultimately fall deeply in love with each other. The plot features a variety of enjoyable elements, such as forced proximity, one bed, the dynamics of a boss and an employee, and a fake engagement, which make it a truly entertaining read. Jace's family is wonderful, and I found their familial interactions to be quite enjoyable. I loved the whole family reunion storyline. Jace and Penny have amazing chemistry; their conversations and interactions are so much fun. Jace can be a little possessive, adding to the drama and making the book even more exciting. Watching their love story unfold was truly heartwarming; they're just perfect for each other. Overall, I highly recommend this book – and if you're an audiobook fan, the narration by 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲 is truly top-notch! She brought the story to life!

Thank you, @netgalley and @dreamscape_media, for the opportunity to listen to this awesome book!

I love a good fake dating office romance. Typically I prefer dual POVs however I think this one was really great. It was a fast paced story and the narrator did a fabulous job. I felt like the story was a bit rushed towards the end and would have loved to see a bit more interaction with the side characters. Overall a great quick read and I am looking forward to reading other books from this author in the future.

There are several things you can count on with an Aurora Rose Reynolds book: a heroine who is bubbly, full of life and also a big clutz; a hero who is grumpy, reluctant to fall in love and also alpha in his protective instincts. Also, lots of extraneous descriptive writing (about outfits and what people are doing, ie I get out of my car and close the door, then walk up the stairs to the front door, then I open the door and walk inside…), and a happily ever after. For nEver is no exception.

This was a fun, lighthearted story. Penny, who is a teacher, takes a temporary summer job as an assistant to tech billionaire Jace. Only Jace then cons her into pretending to be his fiancée for the week he’s home for a family reunion. Hijinks ensue. They of course fall in love.

There was very little drama or angst in this one which I found very refreshing. What little conflict that did exist between the hero and heroine was resolved quickly, which I also liked. But a good deal of the book was spent on the antics of Jace’s family and Penny, and not much with Penny and Jace.

The narrator of the audiobook, Pippa Jayne, was good, but she has a more mature, sophisticated voice which I didn’t feel matched the heroine in this book. Also, it was often difficult to tell if what was being read was Penny’s thoughts or if it was something being said out loud. But otherwise the narrator is enjoyable to listen to!
