My 10-year-old absolutely loved this book! She’s a big fan of Dork Diaries, and Worst Love Spell Ever! gave her that same fun, diary-style storytelling with doodles, humor, and a super relatable main character. However, while Dork Diaries follows a regular middle schooler dealing with everyday drama, this book adds a magical twist!

The mix of magic, friendship, and funny mishaps kept my daughter entertained from start to finish. She loved Heidi’s personality and how her magic often leads to unexpected chaos.

I love EVERYTHING by Wanda Coven! I'm so happy I found this series since my nine year old is aging out of the Heidi Hecklebeck books. This series is more age appropriate. I highly recommend this book!

As a middle-grade reader enthusiast, I really enjoyed this book. I valued the addition of so many illustrations, which were spread throughout the book and really helped to capture the story being told.

The Worst Love Spell Ever! Middle School and Other Disasters was an entertaining and hilarious look at middle school drama that anyone aged 8-12 will appreciate, and it's also a great way to get your kids into reading.
