I thought this was a good first book to start a series. I liked the characters and the story. I thought the pacing was a little off but nothing terrible.

I love Molly Harper, and was thrilled to see her name on this book! Witches Get Stuff Done was a funny, charming, and had a handsome librarian! What's not to love about that?? I loved Edison and Riley's relationship, it was such a fun dynamic.

Witches Get Stuff Done (Molly Harper)🎧

When Riley inherits Shadow House, her aunt’s haunted house in Starfall Point, she also inherits her witchy powers, her live-in ghost butler, and so many magical artifacts. Riley enlists the help of her new friends (her coven) and the town’s head librarian, Edison, for support - and love.

I thought this was a cute, quick, witchy listen - perfect for the Halloween season! It was an Audible original, and in my opinion, the ebook cover is so much cuter than the Audible cover. I’m excited for book #2 in the series.

This is another fun, witchy romance that's perfect for a light read on the beach, or when those Fall vibes start coming hard. The pacing didn't work quite as well in the end for me, but still worth a read.

i loved this quirky book about. Riley, the heroine,. is a witch and doesn't;' know it until her aunt dies and leaves her a really haunted house. Edison, the love interest, is just too cute for words.
This was a feel good book during a time I really needed a few laughs and a great storyline.
4.5 stars.

A very enjoyable, cozy witchy read with lots of drama and mystery. Riley travels to Starfall Point to meet her long lost Aunt but gets more than she bargained for - she has an angry run in on the ferry over with Edison and arrives to find her aunt has died. She is left to figure out her family’s supernatural heritage and purpose with clues and support from the small town, all the while falling for her opposite in Edison.

There is a LOT happening in this story and it is very much the first in a series as it only scratches the surface of a well established supernatural plot. Secondary to this is the romance of it, which is sweet and swoony 🥰 Intrigued enough to give the next in the series a go!

What to expect:

- witchy story
- small town romance
- opposites attract
- found family
- little bit spicy

Riley shows up on Starfall Point with no idea that she's secretly heiress to a ghostly house full of magical "ghost objects." As she starts to learn the rules of the magic and navigate the new expectations, she also meets friends, starts a coven, and begins to fall in love. Easy fun read, would recommend for those who like witchy-vibes, rom-com enemies-to-lovers romance, and found family.

I was super excited to read a great Halloween-ish type book for the fall. Witches Get Stuff Done is almost there on the Halloween-ish front. It does have the element of ghosts and magical things but it wasn't giving enough for me. I wanted to love this book so much but about halfway through the book I wanted to stop. I wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. It just didn't flow right for me. The will they won't they between the two characters obviously in love was not it. I gave this two stars.
I was gifted this book in return for my honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! The ghosts in the house were hilarious, and the shenanigans Riley got into with them, and the way they were described, made me laugh out loud several times. I cannot wait to read more from this author and this series!

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

From the moment Riley Everett set foot in Starfall Point, magic bubbled inside of her. But with only her late aunt's journals and a cantankerous live-in ghost butler to instruct her on all things witchy—including her newly inherited Victorian haunted house—Riley seeks out a coven for sisterhood and support. The last person she expects to be drawn to is the town's frustrating, yet ridiculously attractive head librarian.

This was both a paranormal romance and a mystery.

I enjoyed the way that the author has built this world and I look forward to reading more in this series.

📖My Thoughts📖

Anyone who knows me, knows that I absolutely love books that have witches in them. They’re seriously my favorite! So of course I HAD to read this book! This was a fun one to read. I loved the characters, the storyline and the fact that it mainly took place in Michigan made it even better. I lived in Michigan for a good portion of my life and reading this book brought a lot of memories back. Every reference to Michigan whether it be with the names of ice cream (Superman ice cream was a good one), the different cities etc. So we now have witches, Michigan and of course the ever so popular budding romance. Seriously though, what’s not to love about this book? I plowed through this book pretty quickly. The chapters were short and the writing was fast paced and just seemed to flow. I didn’t want to put this one down! I can’t wait for the next book! There was a cliffhanger, so I need to get the next one ASAP! Definitely grab a copy of this one! It’s perfect for the coming autumn season.
Thank you Netgalley, Molly Harper and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read and review this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This book could have been really cute, but the writing felt so juvenile. The humor didn't really hit, and some of the *adult* characters acted like they still needed maturing. I liked the idea of a house filled with ghosts that needed help passing on though, and that's one of the only aspects that kept me reading. I thought the reveal of who the burglar was felt forced, but grief hits everyone differently and I'm sure there is someone out there that would do that.

I love a good lighthearted, cozy witch read, but this one just didn't hold up to others I've read.

It was cute and fun but the pace it moved it was odd & how time moved was really confusing. I didn’t feel like we got enough of the relationship between the FMC & MMC.

I'd like to thank NetGalley for the Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of Witches Get Stuff Done (Starfall Point, #1) by Molly Harper. I was intrigued by the title of this novel and was thrilled to be approved to read this book. I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review.

When I first started reading this book, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not. The first few chapters were way too long in my opinion, and I felt like something could've been done better to ease the reader into the story. With that being said, I am glad I stuck with the story as it picked up, and I ended up falling in love with the characters and the atmosphere of the island.

The author ended the book with a huge cliffhanger, and I really hope that none of the characters that I've come to love are the "bad guy". I halfway wonder if it will end up being Riley's father or one of Edison's parents because these are really the only characters I don't care for.

I'd consider Witches Get Stuff Done (Starfall Point, #1) by Molly Harper a combination of romance and mystery with paranormal elements. I can't wait until the next book comes out. Four out of five stars.

A newbie witch, ghosts, a recently inherited Victorian house, and an attractive librarian living in a small town? This novel is an introverted romance reader's dream and it gives off major "Practical Magic" vibes. I love the twist of a witch moving to a small town, but not being well-trained in her magic. Also, I found it totally plausible that the first thing a newbie witch does is to seek out a coven instead of spiraling on her own (we love to see characters making realistic and smart decisions!) What drew me into this cozy romance is that, even though the paranormal details are all abound, the characters still feel real and down-to-earth.

I love Molly Harper. She writes with humor and heart. Not an easy combination but she does it time and again. This book is the start of a new series and I am already anxious to read more.
This book has a wide cast of quirky characters both living and dead to keep you entertained.
I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Such a fun, witchy read! While parts of the narrative felt rushed (especially nearing the end), I loved the characterization and the involvement of the ghosts. Hoping to read more soon from Starfall Point!

Overall, I felt like this one was super cute but rushed in parts. The romance was cute and sweet and if you are just looking for a super cute story with witches and magic then totally check this one out. If you are looking for more of an indepth story then this one may not be for you.

Witchy romance with a librarian as the male love interest? I was immediately sold. And let me tell you it lived up to my expectations. I have a soft spot for witchy romances but when you have fun banter and fun characters it just makes it all the better!
