Honestly, I really wanted to like this book more, it has a super cool premise and I thought it would be a heart melting cliché, but I don't really like instalove and the characters made me really bored, apart from the reason for the last conflict of the couple was terrible. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc in exchange for an honest review!

While I expected a lot from its synopsis, the insta-love/lust between the two characters, made this book a miss for me.

Thoughts:
• I was bored, bored the whole damn time I ended up skimming.
•I find characters' dialogues cringe-y and boring
• the way they met was strange to me that the tension between them escalated quickly, hence, insta-lust/love plus the over-territorial hero irks me
• I will say this again, this is insta-lust/love which I hate
• the character's development was underwhelming and lacked depths

Big thanks to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The cover and the synopsis were interesting which made me request this book. But my overall thoughts, it seemed a little too much. The chemistry between Hope and Mitchell was great and the banter was awesome.

It was a nice quick read, but just seemed overkill in some aspects which I didn't really care too much for.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I couldn’t really get through it simply because I didn’t know it was the third book in a series and add the fact that it was third person which confused me. I don’t mind third pov but after a while it for confusing because I didn’t know the other side characters and they mentions things that have happened before but I haven’t read but I believe it does have potential

I really wanted to like this. The blurb sounded good and I’ve read and enjoyed another book by the author.

Unfortunately the book was way too over the top from the beginning and there were too many cliches and predictable actions.

It also felt very insta-love and the characters were way too protective and into each other in just the first few chapters.

I really disliked both characters from the start and hoped they would get better, but the third act breakup just proved they dont improve at all.

This was a fun, entertaining read. It's very big on insta-love and there is the one bed trope (which I am a sucker for) I didn't like how Mitchell was after the third act break up. I did enjoy their love story but the third act break up kinda broke it up for me. I love the plus sized rep and the entire premise of the story. I did have a lot of fun reading it!

I love the banter between Hope and Mitchell and I enjoyed the friendship with the guys Mitchell, Tully, and Linc.

It was a nice quick read, but just seemed overkill in some aspects.

Let me start by saying this book has our favorite troops:

One Bed 🤤
Forced Proximity 🔥🧯
Strangers to Lovers 💋
Found Family 🌞
Grumpy X Sunshine 🙃☺️
Slow Burn Romance+ Hot Steamy Romance 🙊🙉🙈
Sexy Banter 😏

This is the 3rd book in The Rock Falls series and it could be read as a standalone but it's more enjoyable if you read them one by one. Let's talk a bit about the book, this one is about Mitchell Anderson an EX NBA player and owner of a computer games company therefore he is super rich. Recently he got divorced after he had been played by his wife which made him swear off women.
On the other hand, we have DR. Hope Roman heartbroken and mourning her mentor's passing and right now determined on focusing on nothing but her career as Science Journalist.
She's been in Vermont to attend the funeral and on the way she had an accident luckily, Mitchell was on the same way and he came to the rescue.
However, there was a blazing storm and they had to go to the nearest B&B coz the roads are closed.
Together they will be forced to spend a couple of nights until the roads are passable again.
Add to the mix a single mixers event taking place at the B&B which will add more spice and fun to their staying.

This book was fun. It was slow however with long chapters but the troops in this book were worth reading it  to the end. So all in all, I liked it and I would recommend you to read it too.

Thank you NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I am so conflicted about this one. Like seriously. Because it had so much potential!

Things I liked:
- The overall storyline was super cute
- Plus size representation- and the FMC was awesome. She is an epic plus size woman of colour with book and street smarts…what’s not to love?!
- Love the one bed, forced proximity, injured/caring tropes. Yes please.

Things I didn’t love:
- The language. Like seriously this would have been 10 times better without all the unnecessary swearing.
- Just…awkwardly written intimate scenes. It felt weird reading them.
- Not a fan of the insta-love trope at all. That’s not love. That’s lust.

Overall, it was just okay for me. I pushed through it, but probably could have DNF’d it.

Sweep me off my feet and carry me off into the sunset, or something like that. Mitchell saved Hope from a pinned car that everyone else ignored 🙄 but his gain because with the bad weather coming they were forced to share a cute and cozy room in a bed and breakfast. Tension rises and sparks fly. Can’t say more without spoiling. If you loved the first two in the Rock Falls series Tinkering with Love and A Sweet Spot for Love, No Cooldown for Love will not disappoint.

I give this book a 3.75⭐ rating.

While coming back from a much needed vacation for dealing with his divorce after infidelity, Mitchell comes across a car standing near a cliff, upside down. In the middle of a snowstorm. After calling 911 he gets out of his car to go check if there's someone inside, which is when he meets Hope. Hope was traveling from his mentor's, and only father figure, funeral when the accident happened.
After helping her getting out of the car, just in time to watch it slide down the mountain, Mitchell takes Hope to his car and drives through the snowstorm till they find a bed&breakfast where they can stay until the storm passes. Because there was a single mixers happening at the b&b and with some other guests who looked for somewhere to stay during the storm, f course there's only one room with one bed available and they have to share. With a pillow wall between them on the bed that magically disappears every night, so do the walls they have both built up around their hearts to protect them after their past.
What could possibly go wrong?

What I liked about this book:
- the book is fast paced
- easy read
- the characters, and their issues, are relatable and easy to understand/get to know
- there's representation of minorities
- one bed trope. >>>

50/50 things:
- insta love, which isn't usually my cup of tea but I liked it in this situation
- the book is written in the 3rd person, which is again something I don't particularly like

What I didn't like:
- lack of communication between the characters. Seriously, with a conversation, the entire issue of the third act breakup could've been prevented.

Following their story was gut wrenching at times, and heart warming at others. The fact that they barely communicated about themselves with each other was driving me crazy! But I did liked seeing them fall for each other despite it. The spice was also good, I can't lie about that part.
During the third act breakup, when Mitchell magically reverted to his old self that was brainwashed by his mother, I almost didn't even wanted them to get back together. That was till Hope's best friend remind me - and her - that it was the lack of communication during the early stage that made it so easy for Mitchell to doubt. He had trauma from his ex and it triggered him. If he had known who she was from the start he would have never been so quick to believe his mom.

I guess sometimes even little silly romance books remind us of stuff that we should use in our daily life. Communication, understanding and being a good listener can go a very long way when dealing with literally any issue that can appear in our path.

No Cool Down For Love was a very enjoyable read. Hope and Mitchell were both complex characters that were very relatable. The book was a little jumpy in the middle and the timeline could have used a little more clarity. Also being a huge basketball fan there were some basketball terms that weren’t used correctly and that’s just a big pet peeve of mine. Overall a fun read!

This had some sweet moments and I thought the premise was fun and interesting but this didn’t work for me. I really didn’t enjoy the way the men talked about women in this book (the language they used describing women, the sexual harassment during singles games and the possessiveness). I also didn’t enjoy the suck and blow joke it had an air of homophobia. The book was incredibly to instalove/insta lust for me and I don’t even necessarily mind that. Overall this didn’t work for me but it was a quick and easy read.

The gorgeous cover plus the synopsis were enough for me to hit request on this one. Unfortunately, while the author’s writing was solid, the plot was a little too much for me, starting with the hero discovering the heroine in a flipped-over car and then proceeding to save her before the car went down a cliff. The leads then found themselves stranded at a hotel where a singles mixer was taking place, and naturally, there was only one bed available.

The premise of this book was so fun, but the insta-love between the characters and the overly territorial hero made this book a miss for me.

Aliyah Burke writes great rom-coms. This was a sexy story and you dive right in. In was right on the border of being insta-love(y) but it was okay for me! I have read a handful of other stories by this author and this one isn't my favorite of hers, but I still enjoyed nonetheless. Its one of those romcoms that I enjoyed at the time, but may not remember it in a year. I recommend picking it up for any fans of golden retriever MMC's and one bed tropes!

No Cooldown for Love by Aliyah Burke was an interesting story and I enjoyed the chemistry between Mitchell and Hope. The story moved well and I want to explore other books by this author.

“Damn her for wanting skin on skin. Damn him for making her crave it from him.”
"I'm fucking addicted to your taste, Flykra."
This series has such a hold on me !!!! I loved it !!! I absolutely loved this book!!!! With forced proximity, one bed trope, possessive man, plus size heroine and a tension so thick it could cut air, Hope and Mitchell’s romance was absolutely addicting !!!!! She is a science journalist and she has just had a terrible accident when a handsome, Greek-god-like Adonis, ex-NBA player saves her but thanks to a storm they have to share a room in a hotel for single people where she is gonna meet new friends and a roommate that will have a hard time keeping his hands to himself. All of this not even saying that he is recovering from a divorce from his cheating ex-wife !!!!
Their chemistry was impossible to ignore and I found myself tremble more than one time. And Mitchell … that man has a way with words !!!! But I can’t be surprised considering the effect his best friends (aka Linc and Tully) had on me in the first two books in this series !!! Plus his very outgoing and sexy and possessive attitude was well-matched with her naive and shy personality!!!!! They will both try to trust again as well as love and be loved in return without feeling inadequate or unworthy!!!!
I love these books especially for their meaning and for the fact that, honest to the core, these women are absolutely badasses !!!!!! They are so inspiring and the fact that they have their men looking at them like they are the moon is thrilling in a way that’s amazing !!!!
I am so glad I had a chance to read this book and I can’t wait for another instalment!!!!
"Then lift your hips for me, baby, because you're wearing too many goddamn clothes."
"Don't tempt me, Flykra. I would love to get my hands on you again."
"When it comes to you, Flykra, there is no cooldown on love.”

To its credit, I read No Cooldown for Love in a couple of hours. Granted, I was on a plane with basically just my e-reader to keep me company. And even more to its credit, the whole plot basically hinges on there being one bed. Which I'm a sucker for. That's kind of where the fun of the book ended for me.

I didn't realize that this book is the third in a series, and the first chapter opens with the three guys lamenting Mitchell's recent divorce and cheating ex-wife. The way that they talk to one another just reeks of "dude" and manly men, and it was pretty off-putting. Mitchell of course swears off women, which doesn't last very long.

Then an absolutely bonkers thing happens, which is that as Mitchell is driving through the windy snowy roads of Vermont, he encounters an upside-down car perched precariously on a cliff (?!), then goes over to the car after calling 911, and rescues the woman inside?! All the while noticing how beautiful she is and chastising himself for noticing that. And then her call, without her in it, plummets off the cliff. Okay, sure, why not. I am all for accepting the weird coincidences that make romances function, but this was probably too much.

Mitchell and Hope then proceed to find the only nearby B&B, and of course there's only one room, and there's a raging snowstorm, so they're stuck. Along with a group of singles who have gathered for a singles event that gets extremely extended. There was a lot of potential here, including the pillow barrier between them that Hope builds every night that almost always ends up not working. But ultimately, Mitchell and Hope didn't talk about their feelings, instead dancing around one another and Mitchell getting alpha possessive even though neither he nor Hope ever talk about their feelings. Combined with the fact that they both in their minds say "well obviously when the storm lets up, I'll never see them again" instead of saying that to each other.

There were some sweet moments after they finally transition from idiots to lovers, but the third act breakup was truly awful. Mitchell reverted to a different version of himself, which was shocking given how he felt about Hope and what he had done to distance himself from that version of himself (though, apparently it wasn't enough). The breakup was so awful that I wasn't sure that I wanted them to get back together.

One other point in favor of this book -- it managed to be a one bed/forced proximity/stuck at the inn book for at least half the book, which is impressive.
