Thanks to Netgalley for the digital ARC.
The first thing I want to say is that I didn't know it was a third part, which would have been nice to know before, so I could have read the previous two. However, it is a series of standalone books. That is, each book follows a different couple, although there are some spoilers in relation to the previous couples. Although, the genre makes it clear that in the end the couples will end up together, so I don't really think it could be a spoiler. Still, it would have been nice to know beforehand.
Getting more into it: I loved it.
Compared to the previous Christmas book I've read/reviewed this year, I think this one is much more funny, it has more romance, more character development and more sexual tension. In fact, I felt very like an exited teenager every time they inadvertently brushed hands, which for this genre I am very grateful for.
It's true that it didn't thrill me very much, but I do think it's a good Christmas romance, it has representation at least with bisexual characters, and it's endearing and fun.
The only downside I can give it is that I found it lacked more of the enemies plot because I think they start to get along/make up too soon. That's something that has been happening to me a lot with other books as well. On the other hand, I understand that those fighting/getting along elements will come up in the background of the previous two books even if they're not the main couple. So those two things might justify that part.
That said, I repeat that it's a good book and I'm looking forward to reading the previous two books and the ones before that. Plus, I liked the simple style of the author, she handles the humour amazingly.

This is an entertaining enemies to lovers book about Holly, who owns a Christmas store and loves the season, and Declan, her neighbor who owns the hardware store and is kind of a Scrooge. They start an all out prank war, but Holly wants to win The Festival of Lights competition and she needs help from Declan. Their relationship grows as they get to know each other. Maybe he’s not a Scrooge after all.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my own.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 "Along Came Holly" is a heartwarming holiday romance that brings festive cheer and a dash of humor. Holly's clash with her grumpy neighbor, Declan, evolves from pranks to an unexpected partnership, leading to a delightful transformation of Declan's scrooge-like demeanor. The cozy holiday setting and the evolving romance make this a charming and enjoyable read, perfect for the festive season. 📚🎄❤️ #BookReview #AlongCameHolly #HolidayRomance #ChristmasMagic

I received Along Came Holly as an ARC (thanks Netgalley!), which prompted me to read the entire Mistletoe Romance series. This installment follows the youngest Winter sister, Holly, as she finds romance in the small town of Christmas cheer, Mistletoe. The big trope in this book is grumpy/sunshine. Just like the other two books, this one is your typical Hallmark holiday romance movie in book form.
I enjoyed seeing all of the characters come together and getting small updates on each of them since the last book.
I found the main characters, Holly and Declan, to be quite annoying. However - they DID do a decent job of actually communicating with each other, which doesn’t typically happen in books like this.
highlights:
- enemies to lovers
- grumpy/sunshine
- cute cat
- holiday romance

Thank you NetGalley, Codi Hall, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this e-ARC in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

If you're a fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, then this is a solid choice for the season. A meet-cute rom-com that will melt even the coldest of holiday hearts.

Definitely not for me.
I like Codi Hall’s writing and the story is usually pretty good but I just can’t get into the story because I don’t like her characters. They’re dull and their jokes aren’t funny.

If you loved Always in December by Emily Stone, A Season for Second Chance by Jenny Bayliss or The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox, then you will love Along Came Holly by Codi Hall. This is the third installment in the Mistletoe Romance series and the last sister. Codi Hall is one of my go-to authors for the holiday season and I am very sad to see this series come to an end. I first found them on Audible and fell instantly in love with the small Christmas tree farm and that family. I felt this one is the steamiest book out of all, my only complaint is the main man in this one came across as kind of mean but I guess that is part of the grumpy charm? Anawyas perfect for the holidays.
-Third in the Mistletoe Romance series but can be read as a standalone
-Small Town Romance
-Rivals To lovers
-Forced Proximity
-Grumpy/Sunshine
-Opposites Attract
Arc received from the publisher; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Welp looks like I’ll be adding book 3 to my shelves here soon. I loved this one as much as I loved the first two!! Please never stop this series!! ❤️

Another great holiday read from Codi Hall! Our patrons love these cute, easy holiday romances and this title quickly made it's way to the top of our purchase lists.

I have read several of Codi Hall’s books now and I am thrilled to have gotten this one.
This author does not disappoint and weaves a beautiful story! I will continue to look forward to more from Codi!

I simply cannot vibe with this book series. I need way more substance in a story and this just doesn't cut it. If you're looking for a very basic holiday romance with minimal spice and lots of dialogue, this is for you! I don't think this series is anything special, BUT I can see how others could enjoy it. It is definitely a cozy Christmas read. It is just not what I am looking for. I find the whole Winter family annoying, so it is hard for me to enjoy these books.

"He’s been rolling through life like a train never getting off the tracks. Then boom, along came Holly and her smart ass take no crap attitude and she’d thrown a curveball on everything Declan thought he wanted."
I seriously love this series! Each book is such an adorably quirky Christmas romance, and this may just be my favorite! I loved Holly and Declans enemies to lovers progression, and both of their stories involved the couples from the previous two books in so many pranks that I was smiling and giggling throughout the book.
Tropes:
❄️Scrooge Hero x Christmas Cheer Heroine
❄️Forced Proximity
❄️NO THIRD ACT BREAK-UP
Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an eARC of this book, in exchange for my honest review!

Holly is the perfect example of Holiday cheer and Declan is a perfect example of Scrooge. They end up working together when she hires him to help with her decorations for a holiday display.
A perfect Rom-Com for the Holidays. Enemies to lovers/Grumpy -Sunshine romances are hard to beat. This one is done really well. Great banter and laugh out loud antics create a sweet romance.

This was such a cute and fun read. I really enjoyed it and it was perfect for this time of the year and time for the holidays

Along Came Holly was an absolute delight! I wasn't aware it is the third in the series but I quickly caught up and will definitely be reading the other 2. I loved Holly's attitude and Christmas spirit and her and Declan's hot animosity that quickly turned to love. So fun and enjoyable

This was a cute holiday romance. I didn’t love Holly’s character at first. She was a bit over the top. But she did grow on me! The enemies to lovers & grumpy sunshine tropes are on full display in the one! So if you love those tropes, you will probably enjoy this holiday read. I loved the small town setting and the large family dynamics in this one. I didn’t realize when I got approved for this eARC that it was the 3rd book in a series. Each book is about a different sister. I still felt like I understood all the storylines in this book without having read the others. This has a very strong Hallmark Christmas movie vibe. I mean it’s the Winters family living in a town called Mistletoe. And all their kids names are Holly, Merry, and Nick. 😂 So if you are looking for a true holiday themed romcom…this one is it!
Read if you like:
▫️grumpy - sunshine trope
▫️enemies to lovers
▫️cats

Thank you for the gifted e-copy.
Along Came Holly is the third book in the Mistletoe Romance series, but can be read as a standalone. Holly is the youngest of the Winters siblings, and owns the seasonal holiday shop in town. Holly loves all things Christmas, but the guy that owns the hardware store next door is a major anti-Christmas grump. Declan is dealing with some personal family things, which only makes his mood worse. After a prank war between Holly and Declan, they realize they might not hate each other as much as they initially thought.
This is a cute and quick holiday rom com. Like all good Hallmark movies, it's a bit predictable, but it's still cozy, steamy and fun.

This ended up being so dang cute! I admit that I struggled a little with keeping the past storylines straight as they related to Holly's story, but that's on me much more than any issue with the book. I think this could be a good standalone as a result - you don't need the backstory to enjoy this (but since I read the previous books, I wanted it). This is the perfect Christmas season rom-com, hands down.

Codi Hall takes us back to Mistletoe, Idaho, this time following the youngest of the Winters' siblings - Holly. Holly is feisty, funny, and loves Christmas. Her business neighbor, Declan, however, does not. If you like a grumpy x sunshine, this book definitely has it. Declan is grumpy, and sometimes it comes across as downright mean, which I didn't enjoy at first, but once I learned more about his character, I got it. Him and Holly have a lot more in common than they think, and their chemistry leaps off the page. This is definitely a slow-burn, as it takes a while for the relationship to develop, but I thought it did so in a good, authentic way. Books like this make me wish that I lived in a super small town during the holidays, where businesses have decorating contests and a parade of lights that tourists loved to visit. I think the setting helps make the book what it is. This is the 3rd in a series, but can be read as a standalone!

This was a cute read but just not as good as the two previous books. I finished the book, but it just wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Overall, I will continue to read her books!
