Third book in this series featuring the resourceful Mason Sharpe, whom trouble always finds. Fast paced and gritty ,full of tension,an enjoyable read.
Such a thrilling, edge of your seat mystery! Mason Sharpe had no idea what he was getting himself into when he decided to get involved in the details of the car accident he witnessed. Logan Ryles has an amazing talent at ripping you into the story to the point that you feel like you are a part of it. I definitely recommend reading the other books as well!!!
The Mason Sharpe series has quickly become a favorite for me. Great characters and lots of action mixed in these mysteries. The MC has enough back history that his abilities don't seem over done to me. No, he's not superman, but he's resourceful enough to figure his way out of the myriad twists that Logan Ryles writes him into. END GAME is the 3rd in the series. It can be read and enjoyed as a stand alone, but the first two books are great reads too.
As Mason stops to help a roadside accident, he cannot know that he's about to jumpinto his next adventure. Two cars, two dead drivers and a young woman who disappears with no trace will lead Mason into a small town drama that pits his talents against some entrenched criminal rings. Ryles keeps the action fast while building tension and mystery, a feat that many writers try but not many can keep up this pace. If you are a Reacher fan, you'll see many of the same traits in Mason Sharpe.
While driving through Alabama, Mason Sharpe witnesses an accident. He stops to help but discovers both drivers dead. However, in the back of the van, he sees a young woman. When he tries to open the door, it is jammed shut. He breaks a window but she wont come to him. He goes to his own car to get a crowbar to try to pry it open but, by the time he gets back to the van, the woman has vanished.
When the police arrive, he describes the woman. She has one distinctive characteristic that makes them suspect she is a local girl who disappeared eleven years ago. Mason, an ex-cop, stays to help the police but soon finds himself involved in a case of human trafficking and in the crosshairs of some very dangerous men.
End Game is the third book in the Mason Sharpe series by Loga Ryles and the first I have read. All I can say about it is this is one fast and furious thriller from first page to last. It kept me up late needing to know what happens in the next paragraph, the next page, the next chapter and I loved every heart-pounding minute of it. If you’re looking for a high octane fuelled thriller, this definitely fills the bill.
I received an arc of this book from Netgalley and the publishers in exchange for an honest review
Mason is driving through a small town in Alabama and is witness to an accident, when seeing if anyone could be alive he finds a woman terrified in the back of a van. Leaving to get a crowbar when he returns she is gone. Once the fire, police, and EMTs arrive the description of the woman matches a young girl who went missing eleven years ago, but there is no way he would have known about her eyes and this sets of that thing inside of Masson, yes if you have the other books you know what I am talking about. He now is like a dog looking for that bone he lost and he knows it is here somewhere but someone is just fu*king with him. Here in this book he actually makes a few mistakes but it is good to have the main character have flaws he got too focused, and that even made this book better for me. I was hooked on this story from the first page until the last and could not put it down as an excellent read if you are into this type of book.
Book 3 of the Mason Sharpe series is another winner as our protagonist tries to rescue casualties of an vehicle collision in rural Alabama.. When he turns away on of the victims has run away. His description of the victim matches a missing person from the previous decade, and the mystery begins. When others try to keep him from helping the sheriff, the mystery is compounded and the action begins. Sharpe is no stranger to violence, and he seems to find and/or cause plenty. Lots of action!
What a blast - gripping, powerful, fast moving, and well written. Mason Sharpe is the new 'Jack Reacher' who goes against all odds to shut down a child trafficking organisation. The twists and turns in the excellent story lead to a sensational finale. Highly recommended novel, book 3 in the Mason Sharpe series, and worthy of five stars.
I was hooked from the first page! I absolutely loved this book, I couldn’t put it down. Loved the main characters of the book and it’s so relevant to what’s happening in this world. You just rooted for them to bring down the bad guys, it didn’t hurt that they were veterans! I would, definitely, recommend this book, I loved it!
Set in Alabama and Georgia, the story revolves around a missing woman, seen by ex US soldier, Mason Sharpe. The lady in question may have heterochromia, two completely different coloured eyes. It’s a rare condition, so when Mason describes the woman he saw to the local sheriff, alarm bells start ringing. As you would expect, there’s a backstory here and Mason isn’t about to leave town until he understands it.
You know what you are getting here, some messy bar brawls, a smattering of rednecks and a general consensus that Sharpe needs to be run out of town. This is a fairly short book so once the scene is set, the narrative moves along rapidly. For what it is, it’s fine and ticks the boxes.
Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, murder, mystery, abuse, kidnapping, child trafficking , A bit of a who done it, and a few crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
Army vet Mason Sharpe witnesses an accident and goes to the rescue. In the back of the car he is trying to rescue her from is a young woman with mismatched eyes, but she is missing before he can rescue her. I will not not reveal any more of the plot in case I spoil it, but rest assured that this is a top class thriller and I would recommend it highly as a good page turner for anyiwho loves thrillers.
