Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this eARC.

This is a good, short romantic read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I really liked the two main characters, Noah and Maddy who meet in unusual circumstances. I think the author has a good writing style and can connect well with her readers through her characters. The story flows effortlessly from beginning to end and I liked that it was told in turn through Noah and Maddy. I think the characters developed nicely during the story (especially Noah) which made them very relatable. I liked the side characters who had more of a presence in this story and hope they feature in future books. This is a good follow on from Mr Grump, and I'll definitely want to read the next book. Recommended if you like romance reads.

I really wanted to dislike the main male character, Noah Parker, but I just couldn’t. He is so misunderstood and had definitely not met his match, that is until he met Maddy. Their unbelievable chemistry in this book had me laughing, crying and yelling at them throughout the book. I can’t wait to go back and read the first in the series and read the others also. The author, Leslie North, is a breath of fresh air in a sad world of literary romance. She’s sassy, straight to the point and has a huge heart, this is seen in her writing. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

I loved the meet cute of this story. It really showed the sparks between Noah and Maddy. I really liked Maddy’s git-her-done attitude. I was a bit uncomfortable with the power dynamic even though Maddy didn’t need saving as most other stories tell it. But the flash Noah kept showing (expensive trips, private jets, fancy restaurants etc) really seemed to dazzle Maddy. I would have liked more personal interactions without the flash to see them develop as a couple.

This is the second book in the Billionaire Bossholes series. It can be read as a standalone. It is an age gap romance, with strong characters and a nice plot
