The Wedding Shake-up was definitely a shake up! I loved the plot and thought it was very interesting. The author was able to describe the connection and emotion of how she felt about her family but I will say it lacked with the romantic interest. It was suddenly an attraction out of nowhere and lots of flirting but didn't have the build up of emotions that would describe the attraction she felt. The book overall was great. I loved the mermaid story that started since the beginning of the story and loved how the book grew with the character development. I loved how the book got better as you read on. I wish I was on a tropical vacation with a certain mermaid or lava drink. The plot twists came with Gabe's mom...that's all I will say.

I thought that this book was great!

It was only meant to be a holiday fling, but when the time comes to leave….

I loved the characters in the story, they had great personalities which were well developed and I loved getting to know them too as the book progressed. The author did a great job with them

I thought that the plot was good too and it was a well written story and I really liked the pace for the book, it was set just right to keep me engaged and to carry on reading

The book had a great storyline and it was a romantic and sexy read – a great way to pass a few hours and escape from it all

It is 4 stars from me for this one – highly recommended!

I love Tillie and Gabe, their dynamic was not only funny but almost relatable.
The plot just kept getting better and better and I couldn’t stop reading.
The setting was beautifully told. I loved how the dialogue felt so real.
Knight really pulled me into this wonderfully crafted story.
The plot of the book was engaging and kept me turning the pages.
With its lovable characters, engaging plot, and hilarious humor, this book is sure to put a smile on your face.
This book has put me in such a romantic comedy mood and I’m not even mad about it.

I have not read book one yet, but as soon as it becomes available I’m getting it.
Because after reading TWS I need more of Knights writing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, my first by JJ Knight. I really enjoyed her style, as the details she gave helped me to picture the characters and the setting. The story was believable and had some exciting threads which she concluded in an engaging manner. The end was a little rushed but I appreciate sometimes authors have constraints.

Tillie falls for Gabe during a destination wedding. They agree to a a fling and a clean break because out-of-towner love never lasts. Will they stay together?

Very hilarious story. love the LOL scenes. Silly, over the top situations keep this book light-hearted and fun to read.

This one just wasn't for me. I gave up at the 30% mark. I just couldn't connect with the characters and was not invested at all in the romance. I did give it an extra star because the opening scene was literally laugh out loud funny. Wish the rest of it could have kept up that chemistry.

I really enjoyed this story. It was fun with characters that I actually liked. It would be a great vacation or time out read because it quick and keeps your attention. Enjoy!
