I was so excited to be able to read Maria and Enzo’s story. I knew it would be an emotional read, but Brittney not only gave us the emotion but the action as well. Enzo is so in love with Maria that it just jumps off the page, but he feels so unworthy and undeserving of her. Maria is fresh off her divorce from her miserable marriage to a cheating husband, and desperately wants Enzo to give into the chemistry radiating between them. But ghosts from the past always have a habit of showing up, and just when Enzo is ready to bare it all to Maria, darkness from his families’ past rears it’s ugly head. Maria definitely has an inner strength. She’s determined to stick by Enzo no matter what, and bring him back from the brink of darkness. Enzo is willing to do anything to keep Maria safe, and get vengeance for his family. What transpires is a story full of action, mafia, gun fights, betrayal and so much love that you cannot put this book down! And the spice….wow! Enzo has a mouth on him. I’m hoping we see more of the Costa brothers in the future! I definitely recommend this book if you’re into over the top protective, possessive, alpha men, and strong, fierce women that love their men.

As usual, Brittney never disappoints her readers. This is another fantastic book from her.

This one follows Marie Romano and Enzo Costa. They were childhood friends and now Enzo is working as a chef for Maria's sister Natalie.

Marie has always loved Enzo, but timing was never right as Enzo kept pushing her away because he thought he would never be good enough for her.

She ends up married to a man her mother thought would be a good match, she has a little girl named Chiara, but the marriage does not survive.

Maria ends up living next door to Enzo and the slow burn between them comes to a head. Also, danger comes knocking and three men push their way in to Maria's home and luckily Enzo is there. They attempt to beat him up and grab Maria and Enzo goes crazy seeing another man touching her.

There are lots of twists and turns, danger with Mafia ties, but most of all the love story between Maria and Enzo. She is exactly what he needs to mend his broken heart.

This is a must read!

I’ve read every book by Brittney Sahin so of course I had to read this one too. We met Enzo and Maria in Until you can’t which I loved- and I was so excited for this book. It was really good although I did struggle to really get into the characters. I feel like maybe a little more backstory on some of the side characters could have been really helpful- like Constantine, Alessandro, Bianca, Thomas and Hudson… but I still really enjoyed it. Definitely a slow burn and then a burn the house down- which I love. Another amazing read!

It's an overall fine book. A solid three. Pretty run of the mill mafia romance. I will say, as someone that doesn't love mafia or dark romances in general, this had just the right amount for me. Kinda mafia-adjacent, and lots of excuses along the lines of "I kill people but for a reason!" that aren't realistic, but make you feel a little better while reading it. There are a lot of cheesy lines like "If you're burning the world down, I'll give you the match," that had me simultaneously kicking my feet and giving a slight eyeroll. Could probably use one more edit and cutting down on some chapters, but yeah. Solid 3.

For a while I have been reading every mafia book I can get my hands on. Excited to read Brittney Sahin's book was extra special and I'm glad I read it. It gave me everything I wanted in a good romance mafia story.
Maria longs for Enzo for years, however he was untouchable as a family protector. As the years pass her love has not lessened and Enzo really struggles with his feelings. There is suspense, romance, and as things heat up between them, the danger and suspense mounted with the family. A good book and will be reading more for Ms. Sahin’s books.

Enzo Costa and Maria Romano have been family friends since childhood, their bond strengthening over the years and creating an undeniable spark between them. Now, as they find themselves at a crossroads, their relationship shifts from a tentative "friendship" to a blazing romance.

Having never read any of Brittney's books before, I was eager to delve into this one. The skillfully written romance and suspense captivated me, making it an enjoyable read. However, there were times when the story seemed to move a bit too slowly for my taste.

One of the aspects I absolutely loved about the book was the main female protagonist's straightforwardness in expressing her intentions towards Enzo. Her honesty and sincerity added depth to their connection. Nonetheless, I couldn't help but feel that some essential parts of the story were missing, leaving me with a sense of being left out of a private inside joke between the characters. This feeling of disjointedness impacted my overall reading experience and connection with the characters. Nevertheless, I still found myself rooting for Enzo and Maria, hoping that their love would overcome any obstacles in their path.

Brittney Sahin has done it again! A slow burn suspenseful book that I read in a day!

Maria had a crush on family friend Enzo and wanted him to be her first. Enzo felt he was too broken and not good enough for her. So on her 23rd birthday he did give her one HOT kiss and walked away.

Fast forward, Maria is now divorced from her husband and living next door to Enzo. Their slow burn led to hot encounters. The scenes between Chiara, Maria’s daughter, and Enzo were swoony!!!! Enzo pledged to take care of Maria and he thinks he has to protect her from him.

When danger comes to Maria’s door, Enzo rushes to protect her and Maria finally sees the man he is. But that doesn’t sway her, she still wants him and loves him. He fights his love for Maria, but he can’t and their chemistry is HOT HOT HOT!

There is danger, sweet moments, slow burn, mafia ties, twists and turns throughout the story. Brittney has a way with her story telling. There are no two books alike! I hope his brothers and Hudson get their books too!

Intense, slow burn to spicy hot as Maria and Enzo face off. Enzo knows he loves Maria but doesn't believe that he is worthy of her. While Maria who has always loved Enzo, marries another because of his rejection of her. As they uncover treachery and danger Maria discovers her strengths and Enzo learns to accept Maria's ability to make him feel again. Author Brittney Sahin spun a clever mystery that captivated me immediately and I look forward to reading more by her.
I received this book as an arc by Net Gallery and am voluntarily submitting my review.

Thank you netgalley and publisher for the ARC...in which I am to provide an honest review.

3.5 stars for me.

It was my first time reading any book by Brittney and I have to say the romance and suspense was well written, but this book was a bit of a struggle. The plot and twists kept my interest, but it dragged a few times and the story from the beginning felt little choppy...well it fails to hold the interest in first half of the book. Initially story takes turn too fast as in many events occur without any thoughts or I guess there was lack of better planning in developing this storyline. Overall it was one time read for me...

Enzo Costa and Maria Romano have been family friends for ages and have always had heat between them. Now, many years later, Maria and Enzo are forced to make some decisions about their relationship as the tentative “friendship” quickly burns way to romance.

I’ve previously read Brittney Sahin’s Hidden Truths, Stealth Op series and Falcon Falls series so I’m familiar with her writing style and storytelling at this point! This was my first of her more mafia-based stories though.

With my minimal mafia-romance expertise, I think this light mafia-adjacent story had a nice romance and plenty of action! There were plenty of characters from Sahin’s previous series mentioned and making appearances, as well as a few hints towards side plot lines for the future books in her various series.

The beginning of the book felt a little confusing since there was a decent amount of familial/past history that needed to be explained and this was really only shared in bits and pieces throughout the entire story. Additionally, I felt like the book-lover plot was slightly overdone. A few longer-reaching bookish mentions.

Like Sahin’s other stories, the action gets wrapped up well with enough twists and turns to be entertaining but not horribly convoluted that things don’t make sense! Plus I always love seeing a strong brotherhood of protectors and mercenary-esque men!

I truly loved the slower-burn “she’s too good for me” mentality between Enzo and Maria, as well as the relationship Enzo has with all of Maria’s family. I’m excited to see more of this family and more adventures from them all!

Let Me Love You is the story of Enzo and Maria. We were introduced to them in Until You Can’t where the intense attraction between the two as obvious. Enzo has his demons that continue to haunt him and prevent him from taking that next step with Maria. Maria, a divorced single mother, has loved Enzo since her youth. Although she did marry another man, it seems obvious she could never let go of her feelings.

Enzo’s twin sister was tragically murdered years ago and in this book it’s revealed who her murderer was.

Brittney Sahin has written another excellent book full of both romance suspense, which she excels at.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One kiss… and the start of a slow burn love story years in the making. Can Maria and Enzo overcome their past and survive the danger to make way for a new life they both deserve. Sometimes you have to accept your past to move forward.

This book was everything and so much more. Enzo and Maria’s story was just incredible. The way Brittney is able to tell a story that makes you feel like you are in it is amazing. She is so talented and it seems that her writing just gets better and better. The twists and turns that Enzo and Maria’s love story takes leaves you wanting more. Enzo has such a dark past and Maria is his source of light. Her unwavering love frees him to be who he is meant to be.

This is a slow burn that most will love. This was a good story overall, and well written, I enjoyed the story, but I didn’t love it as much as I hoped I would, as I have read and loved this author previously, and this one didn’t live up to what I expected, I am hoping that it was me and I just hyped it to much to myself, as I will go back and do a re-read. Enzo and Maria will keep you hooked, they have a powerful story, about accepting yourself and realising what’s important.

In the follow up to Until You Can’t, Brittney gives readers a spicy, romantic suspense filled with tension, action, a twisting plot, and flirting as only the Italians can. This second chance, single parent romance was just what I wanted for Enzo and Maria, and Enzo has secured his place as my favorite of her characters. He’s a good guy, with a morally gray past, and a heart of gold who gives you just a delicious taste of “touch her and…” vibes. This story is a slow burn love story, with a layered action plot line that makes this book hard to put down. And what makes the story even better, Maria is a sassy and strong FMC. Enzo has a checkered past which comes back to haunt him when he thought he’d retired from that life. As we all suspected, he’s far from being just a chef.

Six years ago, Maria and Enzo shared a kiss that neither could ever forget. Their families have long been connected, so he was completely off limits. Enzo’s eyes hinted at a haunted past which intrigued Maria. They shared one kiss, and she didn’t see him again for years. Years later, Maria is now a newly divorced single mother. As the head chef at her sister’s restaurant, she and Enzo have become friends. But the fire still burns between them, even though Enzo makes no moves to do anything about it. He’s a different man now, but he still tries to stay away to protect her from his secretive past. But when temptation becomes too great and his past comes calling, Enzo must once again become the man he left behind in New York.

I am always a fan of a morally gray character and Enzo was a deliciously sweet one who was really a very good guy. I loved how Maria always had feelings for him and that they eventually got to give into everything that burned so hot between them. Plus that pool scene… IYKYK. Brittney gave her longtime fans a few little nods to other books and tied in her Falcon Security series. I always love cameos from old friends. Longtime and new fans will enjoy this fantastic addition to hopefully a new series.

Mafia type romance plot with lots of pining and twists. I love a bad boy dark hero who has been pining for years but watches from the sidelines and thinks he’s protecting her. Meanwhile, he has been there for her as her friend and has fallen in love with her child she’s struggling to raise with her ex. This was a dark romance with lots of twists and turns I wasn’t expecting. Really solid read.
