My son and I have been having nightly bedtime stories, and I have been actively trying to incorporate audiobooks so that I can focus more on him and the *magic* that books can give a child's imagination. I am particularly impressed by the sound effects and musical incorporation this whole series provides. I also loved the breadth of examples of transportation modes, even niche and remote ones that made him giggle thinking about (we don't see sled dogs or camels in Wisconsin!). I loved what this author does with this short little story, and I plan to pick up every single book in this series!

This audiobook was fun because it has additional sounds to accompany modes of transportation. It had multiple ways of transportation that were not just traditional cars, planes, and trains. The children's voice was a cute and precious addition. The story of transportation was clear and although not one story, but the way each mode was discussed felt well thought out.

Thanks NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook.

I really liked the narrator of this book. It had a lot of factual information it. As an audiobook, I think it would need to be used with the actual book for youngsters to be engaged. I do not know that they would be engaged by audio alone.

100% here for camels as a mode of transport. Cars etc are just okay.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher.

Short, easy to follow story. Kids (3 & 5) enjoyed it and engaged. The narrator was a good choice and the child asking questions along kept the kids entertained

This audio was so fun! My youngest son, who is 4, loves all things transportation. The sound effects and narrator did an excellent job. This is definitely one we could listen on repeat to absorb all the great information. It’s a fun nonfiction for kids!

We listened to the audiobook at 1x speed so my child could fully focus on what was being said.

Another cute little book in this series. It's an engaging overview of different modes of transportation that exist around the world, and a perfect audiobook to entertain on a short drive.

I think I just set a new personal record. It didn't really take more than a minute for me to fall in love with this book. Short and sweet would be the best description as it's both. The audio version runs a mere 6m 56s and offers up absolutely delightful narration. And, hey, this Alaskan loved the quick mention sled dogs got as a time honored mode of transportation. I've ridden on a dog sled and, wow, it's fun. I won't even list the other more common modes of transportation, not to mention variations it manages to work into the narrative in a delightful, engaging way.

The use of a musical background and sound effects will add to the pleasure for both young and us older listeners. The use of a child's voice asking questions was an added plus as it will make the narrative that much more relatable for young listeners. Also, while the title is Nerdy Babies, I'd actually think older children, at least toddlers who have a wealth of questions anyway, would be the ideal listeners. Bottom line, a delightful addition to any child's library that adults may find will bring a smile to their faces, too. Thank you #NetGalley and #RoaringBookPress and #MacmillanAudio - #MacmillanYoungListeners for allowing me to step back to the days of wonder.

My kids thought this was a fun little audiobook and enjoyed listening to it with their breakfast. I think there could be a little more excitement and such to make it draw the kids in and keep their attention a little better though.

I absolutely love this series. The narrators are fantastic and make everything easy to digest. I love that childs voices are added in too. This is an awesome way to introduce kids to scientific topics. I found this one about transportation to be really cute and full of interesting facts. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This short audiobook about transportation was really educational. My toddler loved learning so many different facts. He was engaged the entire time and asked for more books at the end. This audiobook was also a great opportunity for my son to ask more questions about different forms of transportation. Definitely recommend for young children.

Nerdy Babies on audio are great, quick audiobooks for me to play for my kindergartner on quick trips in the car to keep him entertained. It peaks his interest and he asks more questions about the topics he listened to.

I love the addition of sounds and children's voices instead of it being a solo narrator. It adds a bit of whimsy and keeps it from just being an information dump.

The narrator had a uplifting and fun voice. The children included were a fun addition. The story itself is fun and informative in a way that children will understand and enjoy.

The style of these audiobooks is adorable, and the format of having kids ask questions to participate will resonate with children. I like the background music and the content -- it really matches each topic well and helps to hold the interest of young listeners. Just like the others in the series, it seems too short for any purpose I can think of. It seems like it wouldn't be long enough for car rides or bedtimes. I would rather have a compilation of all of the series in one audiobook. I would also love if these came with books as companions, for children to follow along or see images of the things being talked about.

Nerdy Babies: Transportation (Audiobook) is super cute! The book itself talks about all the different kinds of transportation kids can think of, land vehicles, water vehicles, space vehicles, and more! The audiobook is quick with an engaging narrator, and comes with sound effects for each of the vehicle types, like horns, running motors, flowing water, sonar, etc. making the story an attention grabbing, immersive experience.
