Some interesting tips on changing the way we think. Some of them were good exercises...but others didn't have much effectiveness.
Good book with some great perspective on changing your mind and digging into the programming of the subconscious
This title is amazingly accurate. I have been working on changing my perspective on things and realizing that some of the things that stress me out don’t need to be stressed. This book helps with that on deep levels. Being able to see how to talk to yourself and work through difficult emotions to understand them and yourself better. This book is a great read and I recommend everyone should read it. I hope to have a physical copy one day.
Often we have been ingrained to do the same thing over and over. It’s the way humans are. But can you really change your mind and the way you do things? The author not only says a resounding yes, he also provides you with exercises to help you get there.
This includes a 14 day journaling exercise as part of the requiring process, so I will carve time out to dedicate myself to this and try it. Though I alway find reading through a book like this first a most helpful exercise before committing myself to the exercise, which is one of the ways I’m programmed right now.
Two main "techniques", simple and straight to the point, and clear advices are given for you to break away from your own possible conditioned responses, unhealthy habits, troubling mind patterns and emotions etc. and possibly to discover "True Self". If one is into teachings about being mindful or aware this is a great book to understand theory and practice. But also it will give you advices about other surprising esoteric methods. Maybe little more complete bibliography would be welcomed and instead of hints to offer some more usual exercises (like about chakras). Interesting book how to hijack aspects of mind which hijack your real expression.
