Having 2 narrators for the main characters of Brian a journalist escaping from his past and Candice a Minister not whom she seems helps you with understanding these characters more. It’s a story to concentrate fully on the narrative as you may miss certain plot points and insights into back stories of the characters. No one is without Sin even the main investigators. It’s not a story to jump in and out off as you may miss important points to the mysteries.
Overall l felt the narrators did a good job with the pace of the book and feel you will really enjoy the reveal at the end.

Great premise and concept. A serial killer who practices sin-eating?!
I only wished there were more mystery and thrills to the story.

***Thank you to NetGalley, Michael Bradley, and CamCat Books for graciously sending me the audiobook to review. As always, all thoughts are my own.***

I really enjoyed the premise of this mystery. The crimes scenes were intriguing and left me wanted to know more about sin eaters. However, nothing about this mystery had me in the edge of my seat or even had me guessing. The reveals and the red herring were all so predictable. By the end it had me feeling unenthusiastic. I really wanted something to be a surprise. I did enjoy the main male and female characters' back stories. It gave them some depth and is what kept me going in the story. I was interested to see where their stories would end up.

This was a duel POV narration. The female narrator did well. The male narrator bothered me at times. It seemed like he backed away from his microphone or would fade away during all the female lines he'd read. Sometimes his pitch would get so low, in general, it was hard to hear him. I found myself having to turn up my audiobook whenever it was his chapter to read.

Thanks to NetGalley for the audiobook ARC.

None with out sin is a reasonable who dunit story but its not going to blow you away, the plot is a bit convoluted in places and as I was listening to the audiobook I found my attention driffting some of the time, but the narrators were good.

Book Title: None Without Sin
Author: Michael Bradley
Narrators: Rob Shiparo and Lisa Larsen
Publisher: CamCat Publishers
Genre: Mystery Thriller
Pub Date was: August 2, 2022
My Rating: 4.5 rounded up
Pages: 352

Story starts with the killer leaving a loaf of Artisan brown bread on the murder victim.
As the story proceeds we learn that this is a symbol for ‘sin eating’, which is a Victorian-era religious ritual.

Our protagonists:
Brian Walter, a newspaper journalist, who now runs a small town newspaper and
Reverend Candice Miller an Episcopalian minister.
They are an unlikely pair to be trying to solve what is going on in the ‘nice n quiet’ town Newark, Delaware.

 It appears that those being killed have secrets that they thought no one knew.
 I the killer making them pay via a religious ritual?
 If so, how does the killer know about these secrets?

This story was an unexpected surprise to me - Twists and Turns I did not see coming and certainly had me questioning my arm-chair detective skills.
When we find out Rev. Candice as well as Father Andrew, both have
a flaw ~ we have real worries that truly no one is without sin.

I like both Brian and Candice.
There is a tease regarding a sequel.
Hmmm hoping both of these characters are in the next story!
I saw one reader’s review and listed this as part of the ‘First State Mysteries’!

This was my first Michael Bradley and looking forward to reading another.

This book perplexed me quite a bit. I was overwhelmed by all of the different plots and characters and seemingly unimportant details, while underwhelmed at the same time. The book seemed to be full steam ahead the entire time, however it was predictable and there was just too much going on. The main plot however was well thought out and developed, even though it was rather predictable. Overall this was not my favorite story, however I didn't hate it and did burn through it in 2 days. With that being said I would absolutely give this author another chance. Lastly, the narrators were pleasant and easy to listen to as well.

I downloaded this book as it was available as a listen now. I liked it and I figured out pretty early on the who, but not the entire why. The characters were very likeable, even with their flaws. The narrators were good and easy to listen to. All in all a good read/listen. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC on this book. I will look for other books by Michael Bradley. I am wondering if these characters will be in another book? I would really like to find out where they go.

Although I wasn't too sure about this book to begin with, I soon found myself intrigued by the storyline and couldn't wait to hear more.

A town hit by a cluster of murders involving religious symbolism, being investigated by a kleptomaniac minister struggling with her faith, and a reporter who regularly sees and talks to his late wife. Throw in a second minister with alcoholic and suicidal leanings and a sweet old lady with a murderous past, and you have a tale quite unlike others.

Everyone has secrets to hide but someone is out to expose them in the deadliest way possible.

Definitely a five star listen, highly recommended.

A big thank you to Michael Bradley and NetGalley for the advance copy.

A book between books to fill the void. Not bad. But not memorable. I listened to this audiobook about 10 days ago and had to go back and refresh myself on the plot. Not a mystery that can be solved by reading... you just have to let it unfold and enjoy it as is. Thank you for the opportunity to access this one early.

Such a good thriller! If you’re into detective stories, whodunnit kind of murder investigation, please pick up None Without Sin. I loved how the two narrators, albeit different in personality, complement each other so well. I could not crack the murderer (but tbh I’m not usually good at doing so) until it was too obvious and being revealed to the reader, but thought the crimes had a good resolution. 5/5 stars!

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

In a small Delaware town, a well known real estate agent is found murdered. He was brutally stabbed with blood flowing in great amounts. Oddly, there is also a loaf of bread eft with the body. Brian Wilder is an award winning journalist who moved to town a few years ago to start up a paper. He is eager to find out what happened, as the town is not one accustomed to murders. He hears of the peculiar loaf of bread that was left and tried to determine why the killer would do this.
Reverend Candace Miller is brought in to console the family. The bread left behind stays in her mind - she knows there is a significance. She and Brian continue to cross paths as they each try to investigate until they reluctantly begin to share their findings and theories. But neither shares everything with the other, Everyone has their secrets and, as the title says, there are None Without Sin. With sin comes secrets and with secrets come power and with power comes....murder. Who will be next? Will Brian and Candance be able to solve the mystery before their own sins are revealed?
Michael Bradley has written a town of characters that I would like to continue to get to know, While fully formed for the book, there is still a lot of mystery and depth that can me mined from within. The story is told by each of these characters with narrators for each. The narration was well done and made the story easy to follow.

My thanks to NetGalley and CamCat Books for the advanced listening copy of this book.

I enjoyed listening to the audio version of this engaging murder mystery. The story has many strands of suspects lives drawn together. The clues are all there, but can you work out the killer? I didn’t. Thank you to CamCat Publishers and NetGalley for the audio ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.

Many thanks to NetGalley and CamCat Books for the free audio book in exchange for my honest review. This is narrated by Rob Shapiro & Lisa Larsen.

Brian, a journalist, owns a small town newspaper as an escape from past tragedy. Candice Miller is an episcopalian minister who preaches in her church but is questioning her faith. When a prominent real estate agent is found murdered with a word written on his body as well as a loaf of bread by his side, the two set out to uncover the clues and solve the case. More bodies begin to pile up with the same MO, one that goes back to a Victorian-era religious ritual known as sin eating.

I listened to the audio version and it, like the story was ok. There just did not seem to be much mystery or suspense as these 2 ameture detectives worked their case. The writing is solid but the story left me wanting more.

None Without Sin follows a series of murders in a small town, which seem to be connected in some religious capacity. It’s a tale full of suspense and clever twists, as well as well-drawn and imperfect characters, all of whom have their own secrets to protect.

My review is based on the audiobook- which was well-narrated and suited perfectly to the darkly entertaining story.

* I received an ARC of this audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

None Without Sin follows the most unlikely team I can think of trying to solve a mystery and catch a killer. Brian, an investigative journalist, and Candace, a reverend. They both shine bright in this story.

I would never think to put a journalist and a reverend together in a murder mystery but with the way that Bradley wrote both characters it just worked perfectly. Brian has a haunted past and Candice is a reverend who lost faith. Getting to know them and their backstories was always interesting.

The descriptions and details in all of the crime scenes were so vivid that I felt I was right there with them. It was written with such haunting detail that some of it made me wince, that’s how clearly it was pictured.

I feel confident that I can usually figure out the killer in most books like this. I was wrong in this book and I love when I’m wrong.

I definitely recommend this unlikely partnership to any mystery fan.
