The subtitled said steamy, but from the cute cover this was maybe just too much for my personal tastes. From the cute cover I imagined it'd be less explicit. Just my personal preference.

More than Shipmates when I saw this as an option I instantly got Below Deck vibes.
This book made me laugh out loud so many times! The character building in this book was spot on! Every character was so enjoyable to read about and I loved each of them!
The love triangle! I was rooting so hard for Tom but I knew that I would have picked Oscar too!

A really cute read. I could not put this one down. I adored Pippa's writing, and Eliza was a really fun main female character. This was the first love triangle book I've read in a while, and I really enjoyed it.

This was just not it for me. The crazy love triangles happening and the back and forth with each other, it all just get really immature and awkward. I wanted to love it. The spicy parts were fun and good but overall the story itself and the characters left me not wanting to continue with the book.

More Than Shipmates captivated my attention. I fell in love with the characters and the setting, their emotions filling me. I absolutely loved this book!

Whoa. Had a totally different picture in my head about this book in comparison to how it was actually executed. This book was all over the place and so immature and a love triangle without the triangle… and it was just a no for me. I stuck through, thinking maybe it’ll get much better, but it got much worse. Just not my cup of tea based on how they do it all and still thrive and survive! Not for me. Thanks for the opportunity to read.

This book was so fun to read. However I did love the love triangle plot, I think it could have done without. Tom seemed like a great friend but he didn't really make sense to me as a love interest.

If you are a fan of the Below Deck series on Bravo, this book will strike a similar chord. A solid choice as a summer beach (or cruise) read.

3,5 ⭐️

I loved all the nautical vibes of this book so much. Ship life seems like something everyone needs to experience once in their life. I also appreciated the plot, but the characters, mainly Eliza, were just a tad bit too immature for my taste. The spice was very well done, though sometimes a bit too much. My cheeks reddened when I read about some of the games they played.

Overall, a quick nice romance, with a very nice and entertaining setting! 🛳️

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for a review ♥️

This is a great debut novel. This book was so much fun. I picked it up because I was in the midst of binging some Below Deck and the cover had some of the same vibes. If you are a fan of Below Deck, this book is for you! Characters are all professional with the guests and then when it’s just the ship’s crew, things get a little wild. Eliza has committed to a six month contract to be an entertainment crew member. They are sailing in the Caribbean. She meets Tom and Oscar, who are both hot…along with everyone else on the ship. But Eliza is pretty determined not to mix work and play. However, it is almost impossible not to get sucked into some naughty games that involve kissing, groping and ultimately more.

The story made you feel like you were right there with the characters. There is a definite love triangle, lots of drama and spice. Eliza had good, but different, chemistry with both Tom and Oscar. This book pairs well with a glass of wine and a fan. It’s fun and a perfect romantic escape. There is some self-discovery on the way and some good friendships are made. I like the author’s extras - a great Spotify list, an amazing cover and fun merch on her website. I hope there is a book 2 of this high seas adventure. Pick this book up now!

I don't know why but books that take place on cruises are just my kind of thing. This wasn't my favorite of those kinds of book but it was still great.

This book was really good. I enjoyed it. It was a slow start, but once I read a few chapters it got better.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and of course the author for gifting me this advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this book was great and my heart really went out to Eliza who just felt like nothing she could ever do was good enough..until she runs into Tom and Oscar who lead her down quite a steamy road.

Laugh out loud and i loved the romance, would definitely recommend.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm not usually a fan of love triangles. I typically feel like they are awkward, dare I say cringey, but I felt this book was done wonderfully. I thought the story was spicy, and you really saw each persons point of view. It made me really want to read more books like this.

This was a fun novel and a good one to debut with. It has everything you could want - comedy, relatable FMC, who feels as she's not good enough and is on her own self-confidence path, with relatable past experiences (screw her ex and bad friends) and the cruise atmosphere was great!

It's a rom-com with a spicy love triangle (would've been even better to see it turn into a polyamory, huh?), humor, fluff and, of course, a bit of angst. It wouldn't be a good romance book otherwise!!
I enjoyed the three POVs and it was refreshing to have three main characters in a romance book that ends with only a couple. The characters were diverse, which was another plus.

Overall, this was a fun fluffy romance that I'd recommend to ease your heart on a heavy day!

This was LONG. I ended up kind of skimming some parts because it was so much. I didn’t realize it would be a love triangle and kind of thought it would be a why choose type of story. I definitely liked her with Oscar and didn’t really feel the chemistry with Tom. The cruise ship games were fun, and it was fun behind the scenes of cruise team members. Overall it was a fun steamy read, but just on the longer side.

This book is an absolute treat for anyone who's into the drama and excitement of shows like "Below Deck." I mean, who doesn't love a little shipboard romance, right?

First off, I gotta say I'm a fan of this book. It's got just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. The chemistry between the characters, is so good that you'll at times feel very conflicted and very hot and bothered.

But it's not all about the steamy stuff. "More Than Shipmates" is also a heartwarming tale of self-discovery and growth. Eliza, our main character, starts off with a serious case of self-doubt and trust issues. Watching her learn to let love in is like sipping a hot cup of cocoa on a chilly night - comforting and satisfying.

In a nutshell, "More Than Shipmates" is a rollercoaster of love, drama, and personal growth that's perfect for a lazy weekend read.
If you're in the mood for some sizzling shipboard romance and a good dose of humor, this book has got you covered.

I am sorry, I did not like this book at all. The cover and plot summary initially drew me in but I this book took a turn for me when the heavy drinking and sex parties started. While I did finish the book, I never felt any sort of connection with any of the characters and I am still trying to figure out the point of the story. Unfortunately, I found the entire book very cringy.

I enjoyed the book. The beginning was right up my alley but I kind of lost interest after 50%. It’s a romance book, it has no world building or anything and just don’t think that a book like that should be almost 500 pages long.

That being said this book had the best summer vibes and just the perfect setting. I loved the characters and the chemistry they had with eachother. And I wish I would have read it on holiday. Maybe if I had read it on holiday or even better on a cruise I would have loved the length of the book.

Overall a fun spicy read that has great summer
