Raymond Moody’ and Paul Perry’s engrossing new book Proof of Life after Life, is a very informative read, documenting a plethora of fascinating and thoroughly researched details of near death experiences, various remarkable related phenomena and post death communications. These offer the reader compelling evidence of what the author describes as life after life.

I found the book very engaging, thought provoking and convincing. I was particularly interested to read the chapter describing the Psychomanteum, its physical set up, the process of operation and the experiences of those engaged in its use. I had not heard of such a device before but found the information and outcomes of the experiments fascinating.

I would recommend this book to those others, particularly those interested in parapsychological material.

PROOF OF LIFE AFTER LIFE by Raymond Moody and Paul Perry. As soon as I saw a book by Raymond Moody, I had to request it. Since my Mothers passing in 2014, I’ve been reading many books on the afterlife, near death experiences, signs from heaven, etc. I was so happy when I was approved for this arc. I’ve not heard of shared death experiences and I was blown away. The stories in this book gave me hope that my Mom is with me and that there is something greater after we leave this world. Thank you to Netgalley and Beyond Words Publishing for the gift of this book.

I’m sorry to say that for such an interesting topic, I found this book to be very boring! Raymond Moody’s writing style feels like a research paper - very scientific, a bit meandery, and there’s very few, brief actual stories mixed in. I also feel like NDEs all tend to be a bit similar, so the stories aren’t necessarily that interesting either. Unfortunately this wasn’t for me!

Another awesome book by Dr Moody! Shared death experiences is a new term to me but not a new or surprising phenomenon. The information on the Psychomanteum was wild and gave me goosebumps-in the best, most positive way! This book is filled with so many incredible, life affirming stories!If you have any interest at all in the afterlife do yourself a favor and read this book. You’ll be ever so glad you did. Oh and it does have instructions on how to make your own psychomanteum. You’ll find that after the discussion questions.

The first book I read by Raymond A. Moody Jr. was Life after Life. I came across it after my grandmother died. I missed her so much, and at the time, I was looking for answers. The book was a huge comfort to me.

When I saw this book on Netgalley, I hoped that my request to read and review it would be approved. I am thrilled that it was. This book sets out to prove that there is life after death. The author has gathered together an astonishing number of first person accounts and even cases where more than one person has been a part of the what happens when someone dies.

I gave it five stars because I feel that Raymond Moody has accomplished his goal of writing a well-rounded book filled with proof of the afterlife.

I read all of Raymond Moody's books. I am not sure what I believe but they give me comfort and comfort is important.

I just reviewed Proof of Life after Life by Raymond Moody; Paul Perry. #NetGalley As someone who had a shared death experience 8 month's ago, I thoroughly enjoyed Moody & Paul Perry's latest book, it's comforting to know that these experiences happen to many people, because I dont tell many people about mine, out of fear of being labeled as crazy, they are so personal and very real. The shared death experience completely changed the who I am today from the person I was before, just going through the motions of life. The shared death experience is a beautiful gift from our loved ones and our creator a final act of love on this side of the veil to wake us up to love and give us personal proof of life after life, it also makes the grieving a little easier, because we know without a doubt they are not gone, just physically not here. I really respect Dr Moody for all he has done to bring awareness to NDE's and SDE'S it has given a voice to the experiecers, comfort to the grieving and to the people who fear death, for death is truly nothing to fear, because consciousness survives the body. If you love Moody's other works this one will be a new one to love, if your new to his work dive right in with an open mind and enjoy. Thank you Dr Moody & Paul Perry, for all of the research, this book came at the perfect time for me.

I loved this book. Any one familiar with this area of research would be familiar with the writings of Moody, but he always presents new understandinds so accessibly and Proof of Life after Life is no exception. The stories in this book, exploring, as he says 'the arena of death studies.' are a mix of old and new, that will captivate the reader and make them think deeply about the nature of reality. Highly recommended.

This was a really interesting book. The author knew the subject extremely well and he did a good job of taking a difficult subject and showing how it can be proved scientifically. There are a ton of first hand accounts of near death experiences from today and from hundreds of years ago. They were fascinating to read. This book really make you think about whether there is a life after death.
