Mr. Hook-up by Marni Mann, is the first book in the Hooked Series, here we will meet Easton Jones, who together with his two best friends, while they are studying at Harvard, created an app to make connections without commitment, when Easton creates his profile, this gives him a perfect match, which they know is almost impossible but he is the exception to the rule, when he starts communicating with the girl in the SaarasLove profile the chemistry between them is immediate and something he had never experienced, they achieve meet at a dance but they are wearing masks, after the dance they keep in touch but never seem to have the time or be able to coincide to see each other, until one day she just disappeared, closed her profile and didn't answer anymore. After five years Easton and his friends have made the dating app the number one in the country, which has led them to create a very lucrative company, when among their new employees a girl capture his attention, Drake Madden is beautiful and very intelligent, leaves him completely captivated and they have an incredible chemistry, something that has not happened to him in a long time, when he begins to venture with those feelings towards Drake, the girl from the app who had disappeared contacts him again. This puts him in a big dilemma, because he has a beautiful, sweet and intelligent girl before him and one for whom he kept thinking about the what ifs. Who will he choose? You guys will have to read it to find out.
I loved this story! The author captures us with these new characters from the first page, Easton is wonderful, sweet, respectful, intelligent and sexy. Drake is witty and completely charming, you won't be able to help but fall in love with them. A story that you will enjoy from beginning to end. I already want more of this series. Highly recommended!

ugh there is nothing like being in a marni mann universe!! her books are SO fun and so easy to get obsessed with. the spice is also GREAT. drake and easton had such great chemistry - it was easy to fall in love with them!

OMG Marni does it again!!!

I fell in love with Marni Mann during her Dalton brother series and when she mentioned these characters in there and now they have their own series im all about it. I love all three of the founders of Hooked I can’t even remotely wait for the rest of them. The story was so much fun! I loved the past and present so we got the full glimpse of the relationship. I loved both the main characters so much! And of course the spice was fantastic. Marni is a romance genius and I can’t wait for more by her!

this was a very highly anticipated release for me. i absolutely love marni’s books & this one did not disappoint. easton & drake were such a fun read. i liked the dual timeline & the way the second chance blossomed. workplace romances are my favorite & this one was *elite.* easton & drake had the best banter too. i loved the way he was so confident in her & always let her shine. ugh, it was just excellent & the spice was 🔥🥵. absolutely slayed. i can’t wait to read more in this series!

This was low angst and nice to see the guy fall first. And he was totally all in and never wavered. Enjoyable read and a fun couple, sort of second chance romance slash office vibes.

'Mr. Boston' and 'Love' match up on Hooked, the guys' dating app they have just started. They talk and have an instant connection all online. Their messages back and forth are filled with lust, chemistry and that je ne sais quoi that people look for in partners. But Mr Boston wasn't looking for more and that's just what he got. Someone that sparks something in him. Love also jumped on for the same reasons. She's also a college student and is traveling a lot and doesn't have time for more than a hook up. SO this app should work for both of them. WRONG! What they find out is they have more in common than they bargained for. Unfortunately, their timing is off and all they get are messages and one very steamy masked night for 15 minutes.

This story is all about instant chemistry, wrong timing and second chances. And you know Marni Mann will totally mess with her readers in one way or another. Boy does she do it with a big time jump after what we thought was just the beginning of something special. Time where are main characters were apart, no longer communicating, but also growing and settling into who they are. Fortunately enough, Love returns back to Boston and the timing just may work out for them. But you won't believe how they connect again.

I'm not usually an instant love type person, but it was the banter for me. I loved seeing the two MCs really connect through words first and then years later returning to one another unexpectedly. Still having that connection they felt all those years ago and not realizing they were one and the same. And although I'm always one for angst, I actually really liked that there was no 3rd act break-up, just drama that may have effected one person's job. The way Easton basically was a superhero and uncovered the truth was totally book boyfriend material.

If you enjoy very steamy second chance romances, with absolutely great banter and a connection that is palpable, you will definitely enjoy Mr Hook-up.

Easton and his friends have created a hook-up app that of course they're testing out themselves. When he matches with someone 100%, he and "Love" meetup for an anonymous/masked encounter that rocks both their worlds. But she disappears and he never sees her again until 5 years later. Now who's his new employee but the 100% match who broke his heart. Though not a good idea, their connection is still strong and they fall back into each other. A second chance could be in their future if workplace drama doesn't create too big an obstacle for them.

Alphas are my kind of men. When they're sweet alphas like Easton?! Even more so! The man is so freaking adorable the way he falls head over heels for Drake, is determined to keep her once she comes back into his life. We would all be so lucky to have someone that intensely in love with us. Workplace romance, no third act breakup, adults who act like adults, sizzling chemistry - this is just the kind of office romance and second chance romance I love most. The Hooked world is one I'm impatient to explore more now.

I loved this book from the start.

Chemistry, friendship, heartache, betrayal, loyalty, humor and steaminess is just a taste of the ride you’ll be on.

I loved the backstory, build up even the twist…I can’t wait for more of this series.

This has a bit of the social network vibes with the fun college student developed into world wide sensation- and how fun to have a story that begins with a dating app. The chemistry between these two is ultra sexy. Their love is a bit insta and their bond starts ultra lusty, but once these two reconnect we get to see their bond deepen. Their is immediate attraction that grows into more depth of feeling...and of course they have some great banter and tons of workplace sexual tension.

Fans of Marni's Dalton Brothers series will feel RIGHT at home with the workplace tension and the luxurious spice! This one certainly is hot and heavy! The end result is certainly a bit predictable, and I wish we'd had a bit more emotional connection between these two characters, but all in all it's a fun and sexy read and hits all the right notes for something a bit smutty and entertaining! Curious to see what is next in the Hooked world!

I would have liked a bit more to the relationship development as I’m not the biggest fan of instalove. Overall, this was a quick and spicy read. Low angst and no third act breakup.

Mr. Hook Up is a fun and exciting new book from Marni Mann. I loved everything about the concept of this book as well as Easton and Drake. They had great chemistry from the start and it flowed throughout the book.

After chatting and messaging via the app they decide to meet at the masquerade ball Hooked was hosting. The connection between them was instantly strong. Due to there crazy schedules they weren’t able to hook up again. She ended up ghosting him.

Five and half years later Hooked has become the number one dating app. In walks Drake Madden the newest recruit at Hooked. When Easton meets her he instantly feels a draw to her. This is a great second chance romance to start off the new Hooked series, about three friends who have created the ultimate hook-up app!

Easton (Mr Boston) get an unheard of 100% match on the app with Drake (Love) and these two begin a whirlwind virtual romance until the night the meet up at a masked ball and explore the chemistry that their compatibility foretold. Despite the connection, Love ghosts Easton, who doesn’t even know her real name.

Drake reappears in an unlikely place with neither of them the wiser about their past and sparks fly. This is definitely a fun and sexy read with some twists and turns. I loved how Easton really stood by Drake.

The friendship and banter between Easton and his friends was terrific and I can’t wait for the next book in the series to see who falls next!

5 She’s Everything He Didn’t Know He Needed Stars!!!

What a phenomenal start to a new series. The minute I started Easton and Drake’s story I was captivated by them. Ms. Mann has given us a story that at times is abundant in it’s steaminess and other times filled with emotions that even surprised our H/h.

Easton and Drake first meet when he and his two friends started a “hooking up” app. They’re a 100% match so how could they not meet in person to see if the app was accurate… let me just tell you that their first meeting literally drove how they approached life going forward. Their connection was instantaneous and filled with witty banter and chemistry. I thought to myself, how can their story get any better. I shouldn’t have worried because when Ms. Mann brings these two back together again, it was so delicious to watch them try to figure out why they have a sense of knowing each other but have never met… or so they think.

Easton along with Holden and Greyson have taken their app and turned it into the largest matchmaking app in the country and are hoping the world. But they need someone to help with this endeavor and Drake fits the bill. This woman is incredibly intelligent, savvy and is the best in her field so she’s a perfect for the Hooked organization.

This story moves with fluidity and there’s a smoothness to how their story builds now that time has passed. I literally devoured this book in one sitting. They’re just as smoking hot, if not more so, the second time around! But there’s so many other things that come into play this time around. And I loved the twist we’re given as well… and I didn’t see that coming!

This book sets up this series so wonderfully. I cannot wait to get Grayson and Holden’s stories. And I’m just a little in love with Belle, the precocious daughter of Holden and the little girl that’s grabbed both Grayson, Easton and now Drake’s heart!

I loved everything in this relationship between Drake and Easton’s. The way they love each other and the chemistry they shared is crazy hot 🥵🤯🔥.
I wouldn’t change a word or a chapter in this story. I enjoyed it so much, I couldn’t put it down.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Easton is so sweet and caring and protective of her. Drake was a little infuriating in their back-and-forth texting initially, but I have to admit I get it - she was busy making a life for herself. Do you know what was the best thing in this book apart from Easton being a perfect book boyfriend? There's no third-act breakup!!!

I am glad that she came back into his life the way that he did anything else wouldn’t seem authentic. I was excited to read this book after the wait, and it was different than what I was expecting, it was better. The title of this book is deceiving, I think, because it makes you think of a man who just has hook-ups, but the title comes from the app that was created. Once I got to part 2 of the book I I starting liking the book, Easton and Drake together really changes him, making him better. I will admit part 1 of the book is kind of boring but it is the stepping stone to part 2. If you like steamy books, this one would be for you.

Easton and his friends create this dating app… Easton matches with this woman at 100%… which is beyond rare! they immediately have a connection and have a mysterious hookup… continue to talk almost daily… WITHOUT KNOWING WHO OR WHAT THE OTHER ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE! Easton is definitely falling for “Love” but she up and ghosts him and completely cuts ties 🥲🥲 Fast forward five years and he finally meets someone who makes him feel again like he did with “Love” and even though Drake works for him, he is chasing that feeling.

Easton was this delicious dominating man who was maybe a bit obsessed with his woman. She was ALWAYS first 😜

Drake is a bad ass woman who made a name for herself in the tech world and earned her position at “Hooked” the company/app that Easton owns. I love how serious she took her job and how dedicated she was and made sure Easton knew he definitely came second when they were at work 😂

As always, Marni delivers on the spice. not too much but certainly enough that you shouldn’t read this at work 😂😝 Easton and Drake were explosive to say the least.

I cant wait to see where this series goes! and hopefully learn a bit more about Hooked too!
