This was such a wonderful first book to Marni's new series!
Easton....wow. Man is ideal book boyfriend material.
Not only does he fall and fall hard. But the man listens, he notices, he picks up on the little things and knows how to make you feel seen and understood without digging or overwhelming you. All the subtle things he picked up on and turned them into wonderful, meaningful moments was just so beautiful.

I adored Drake. First off - a smart, strong woman in tech!? Yes, please. She's such a leader and inspiration and I love how she does it all so naturally. She knows her worth and isn't afraid to speak up or be herself. Goals.

The connection between Drake and Easton is so powerful. The way they move together on all levels from emotionally, mentally to physically is such an experience. I couldn't get enough of them!

Mr Hook-up was such a fun read. Made me think of how all these dating apps probably started.

It was fun to think about and be one of the creators of the app. I bet it was really hard to decide if you want to use it or not? None of the creators thought they could ever be a perfect match!! Lol

But then Easton came across Drake... 100% match, well her user name was Love..and these two were one for the books. ❤️

Gahhh, I loved their chemistry and the banter...*SWOON* I could not get enough! Even after Love disappeared off the app for 5 years. Your left yearning for these 2 to find each other again. Lol. But do they????

Marni never disappoints.

A no strings hook-up app. A 100% match. The odds of that are crazy, but of course it happens to Easton. Which shocks him and his friends as the creators of the app. So when he reaches out at starts talking to his match Love, he starts to feel things he did not think of. When they meet up at a masked ball, things are even better. Just when he feels things are getting started, to maybe more.. it ends without a word. When a few years go by and they hire Drake to work for them he can’t help but feel a connection with her. When he looks into pursuing it..Love pops back up and wants to meet. I enjoyed this story, and there side characters as well, maybe we will hear more about them in the future? Either way, this one just pulled me right in and I didn’t put it down till it was done.

I absolutely loved "Mr. Hook-Up" by Marni Mann! If you're a fan of workplace romance, second chances, and forced proximity, you must either read this book soon or add this to your TBR! The story revolves around Easton, who creates an hook-up app called Hooked with his friends, and that's where he meets Drake. Their magnetic chemistry is undeniable right from the start.

What I adored about Easton was his caring alpha attitude; he was charming throughout the book, and it was impossible not to fall for him. One of the highlights for me was how well-developed the characters were. They were mature and capable of communicating when problems arose, which added depth to the story.

I was pleasantly surprised that there was no third-act breakup trope in the book, which made the story even better for me! "Mr. Hook-Up" is a fantastic start to a series, and I can't wait to see what comes next. It's a great blend of romance tropes that hooked me from beginning to end!

Easton is the perfect new book boyfriend, wow love him. This story was so good and addicting.. i feel like it was a lighter story and the conflict brought them closer not another 3rd act breakup.

Mr. Hook-up was fantastic! I loved the concept in the THEN part of this story, as "Love" and "Mr. Boston" connect on a dating app designed for the perfect one-night stand. There is sizzling chemistry between them, and instant spark, and their chat conversations are riddled with sexual tension. While they only meet in person briefly, it's a memorable experience for them both. Unfortunately for Easton, Love's phone was disconnected shortly afterwards and he always wondered whatever happened to her...

Five years later, "Love" and Easton cross paths again when Drake starts working at his company, and it's a shock to them both. It was the wrong time for something more to happen between them five years ago, but are things different now?

I really enjoyed Drake and Easton's story, how their connection was still there all these years later, and the push and pull between them as they navigate their relationship and find their footing as a couple. I also enjoyed getting to know his business partners, and look forward to seeing the other guys find love!

This was my first Marnie Mann and unfortunately I just don’t think she is for me. I know a lot of readeee who love her style but the dialogue was too forced (not real) for me.

What happens when Easton finds the perfect match on a dating app him and his friends created but then she disappears suddenly only to come back in quite an unexpected way 5 years later?

This was yet another great spicy read by Marni Mann. The chemistry between Easton and Drake is undeniable and off the charts!

Mr. Hook-up is the first book in Marni's new Hooked series, and you definitely need to read this book!!

This read had it all, office romance.....He falls first.... check, forced proximity..... check, second chance romance..... check, forbidden..... check, billionaire....... check and sexy times that were nothing but explosive!! Easton and Drake aka Love were perfection, from their first meet to every one after that, I just couldn't get enough.

“You know, one of the best parts about tonight is that it doesn’t have to end. Instead of going home, feeling alone, I get to wake up in the morning and kiss you again.”

The friendships between Drake, Greyson, and Holden and Belle, had me smiling and laughing with the witty banter between them all. As for Saara and Drake, they may have been bestfriends, but that bond ran deep, and I loved that! If you get the chance to grab this one, I highly recommend reading. Looking forward to the next book!

I cannot wait for more from this series.. You also get to see a little bit of Declan and Camden from her other series which you can never go wrong :)

You know that perfect book-boyfriend and his perfect romance? Will, this very well could be the one – or at least one of them – that I will remember for quite a while. Sighing as I think about the perfect match at 100%, the glitch and time away, and then…well…as with most romances…there is a happy ending. BostonLifer and SaarasLove so deserve the happiness that I see in their future…can’t wait to see what happens as the series progresses.

Okay, I thought this was my first read of a book by Marni Mann BUT found that I had read at least one book by this author in 2016 and thought, “As much as I loved that book and now this one, why didn’t I read more of this author’s books?

What I liked:
* The premise of the story with the upstart company trying to make it big while providing hookups for themselves
* Meeting the men that made it happen (later in the book)
* The way the first of the triumvirate, Easton Jones, finds he has a 100% match with SaarasLove and how he wonders how that will play out – and definitely not as he expected
* The heat generated in the opening and how it was…kind of sad…for a bit
* And then…the rest of the story that had it all
* The tech part of the story since I have relatives working in the field and it made me wonder…
* The friendships of Easton, Grayson, and Holden as well as the one between Drake and Saara
* Wanting to know more about the Grayson, Holden and his daughter Belle AND wondering if there will be more about the Dalten Group called in for litigation of an issue
* Shoot…still kicking myself for missing out on this author’s books missed and hoping I have the opportunity to read more of them in the future!

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like – one specific man and an international company come to mind
* Thinking about missed opportunities and how at least in this story, the missed opportunity was not missed entirely.

Did I like this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Definitely

I absolutely loved this book! Marni did a great job of setting up the plot line and I was so intrigued by it. I really enjoyed both characters and it made me excited to see how the rest of the books in this series will play out.

Marni mann never steers me wrong. If you love alpha rich men then I highly suggest her books specifically this one. I love the the reformed playboy trope so much.

I struggled to get into this book, which isn't typical of me while reading Marni Mann. I think I just wasn't in the mood for this type of book at the time I had to read it.

I love nothing more than a new Marni Mann book. she always brings the heat and an addictive story. this one starts off with a bang and Easton meets Drake on his app call. it's instant chemistry between them and instead of wanting to only hook-up Easton is wanting to see if there is more. the only problem is, he doesn't know who she actually is. her user name is SarasLove and when they meet they are masked. Drake is finishing up college and then ends up leaving Boston & leaving Easton. then we fast forward 5 years later and guess who is interviewing to work at his company. at first he doesn't know that it is her, but she knows. eventually she tells him and they cannot stay away from each other. this book had me blushing, there is something about the spice in a Marni book that has me weak. the best word that I have for this book is explosive. I enjoyed the friendship between Drake, Greyson, and Holden. so many times their banter made me laugh. I loved this book so much and cannot wait for the next one. & as always, I am so freaking proud of my girl Marni!

Easton and his friends start an app that helps people find the most compatible one night stand. Easton gets matched with someone named Love, who he’s 100% compatible with. After writing back and forth, she suddenly ghosts him. Fast forward five years and he meets Drake, and they have instant chemistry. But now out of nowhere, Love starts messaging him and he can’t help but see he has a connection with her too.

This was a fun and cute read! The friendships in this book were charming! All the characters were fun and had such a great humor! This had a lot of my favorite tropes. Office romance, forced proximity, billionaire, second chance romance!
The spice was a touch mild comped to some of Marni’s other books, but that being said, there was still plenty of it!!! This was a great book and I can’t wait for the next one!

I ADORED this book. It was different from Marni Mann's other novels and I loved that! I LOVED that Drake was everything Easton wanted but never knew he needed. I've said it before and I will say it again, I will read anything Marni Mann publishes. She is one of my favorite writers and I really loved how this new series started!

Easton Jones and his two best friend's founded the dating app Hooked and he is shocked when he matches 100% with someone called SaarasLove. The reason for the app was to just hook up with people but when he starts getting to know Love via text messages, they truly are very compatible and he starts falling for this girl. When they meet in person its at a masquerade party and they still don't know each others real names or faces. BUT THE CHEMISTRY IS OFF THE CHARTS!!!!!

Then weeks later, she starts to pull away and then she ends her trial with the app and her phone number isn't valid anymore.

Fast forward to 5 years and Easton still hasn't forgetten Love and now he meets his new employee Drake Madden. Something about her makes him feel like he has known her forever and he can't get enough of her. He knows that he made a deal with his friends that he wasn't to hook up with any employees. Just when he doesn't know how to proceed with this attraction he has with Drake, he gets a message from Love and his world is titled on its axis.

My thoughts!
I loved it so much!! Easton was a kind, caring man who is soo loyal to his friends and anyone he cares about. Drake was a strong, independant woman and I loved how ambitious she was.
Together they were FIRE!!!! I loved their chemistry soooo much!!! I loved that they both had tattoos that meant something to them.

There is a bit of a twist in this book that had me in tears and kept me in suspense which I enjoyed.

Overall, I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I cannot wait for the next one!!!

They meet at a masqerade party for the app and wow the amount of cmesitry but then she ghosts him. Years later Easton hires a coder named Drake and has a connection but feels guilty because he still has feelings for his match and can't stop thinking about her.

This story was so good! I loved how the beginning of the book was all in Easton's POV. This book had just the perfect ammount of spice and the chemistry between Easton and Drake...I loved this book so much! Another great book from Marni Mann.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. Boy starts hook up the app with friends and meets the love of his life, only for her to move before they get to know each others names. Flash forward years, and this same woman comes to work for the company without knowing that he is the guy and creator of said app. These two share a chemistry that is unmatched. They deal with years of unfinished business to get to their happy ever after, but once they commit, they flourish.

Marni is alwaysssss a good spicy time for me. I found this book wildly addicting + unputdownable!! I cannot wait for the next book in the series (but this is a stand-alone!!) as all the characters were so enjoyable. Drake is such a strong female but FUN too. And of course Easton is swooney af!!
