When they meet, things get hot and steamy pretty quickly and this man knows what to do with his tongue 🥵. They part ways and just never find the time to reconnect due to conflicting schedules and communication between them drifts away.

Five years later, ‘Love’ also known as Blake takes on a new job at Easton’s new firm and although they don’t know who each other is, the chemistry and attraction they had all those years ago is still there, only leading to some pretty steamy encounters.

I just loved everything about this read. Easton and Blake were perfect together. They were funny, cute and so hot together. They had the best chemistry, I was giddy throughout their journey and had heart eyes every time Easton was on the page! This man will take some beating.

I was so wrapped up in their story, that I did not want it to end, although if Easton is anything to go by, I can’t wait for the other friend's stories, they are sure to be just as hot.

This book is broken up into two parts. The first part is strictly in Easton's POV. Easton aka Mr. Boston is one of the three founders of Hooked, an app for hooking up. He matches 100% with Saaralove aka Drake, and it is not common to match with someone at 100%. Mr. Boston and Saaralove meet in person and hook up, but they have no clue what each other looks like because they are wearing masks. They text back and forth for a while, and try to make plans to see each other, but they never get a chance to meet up because Saaralove travels a lot for work, and she never has time. We fast forward to five and a half years later, they are in each other's lives again, but neither of them knows who the other is.

Easton (Mr.Boston) was perfect from the beginning to the end of this book! He is the definition of a perfect man! He is so sweet, caring, and hardworking! I enjoyed Drake (Saaralove) but some moments she made me want to throw the book against the wall because she didn't realize what she had in front of her -- but as the story progressed, I understood the reasoning why she had to do what she had to do. This book was a lot of fun to read, and it was refreshing! There is no 3rd act breakup, and I loved the chemistry between both characters! I loved that they mostly had communication with each other, especially the incident that happens towards the end of the book. I look forward to reading the next book in this series! (Hopefully, it will be of the other founders of the Hooked app!)

Easton is a sexy beast and I love that he trusts Drake and has her back during the worst of times. It’s nice to read about a couple without angst and doubts and Easton is true blue when it comes to loving his woman no matter what. Drake is amazing at what she has accomplished in her 28 years and it’s wonderful how she wins her co-workers over with her kindness and respect for others. Drake and Easton’s connection is beautiful and healthy and the sex scenes are very hot! It was evident from the very beginning that they were meant to be together.

The story is a classic tale of how love can change even the most confirmed bachelor. It is a story that has been told time and time again, but Ms. Mann manages to put a fresh spin on it. The characters are well-developed, and the storyline is engaging and captivating.

Mr. Hook-Up is spicy, it’s hot and definitely unputdownable!!
Life is full of surprises and fate likes to keep you on your toes and honestly I feel like that is the theme of this book since fate keeps throwing Easton Jones, the CEO and one of the founders of Hooked and the brilliant techie guru Drake Madden together. These two had an interesting start to their relationship that bonded them together but life got in the way and when they reconnect is when it gets really interesting and the chemistry between these two light the pages of the book in fire!

Three friends in college create an app solely to make the act of hooking up easier and also to make money. Not surprisingly, it takes off and has immediate success. When one of the founders, Easton, has a 100% successful match, which is unheard of, he finds himself very quickly developing feelings for this mystery girl. And then, one day, she ghosts him. 5 years later, she's back in his life as his employee, and they both fall right back into place as if time never stopped.

I love the premise of the book. It's giving Salacious Players Club vibes with the creation of this wild idea. However, I feel a little torn on various plot points and characters.

In general, there are a lot of storylines happening, so I think either something needed to be edited out or the book should have been longer. Especially the third act twist... for me, it felt like it came out of nowhere.

What I love about boss/employee romance is all the delicious tension, "no we shouldn't" feelings. I didn't get enough of that. Drake was too easily convinced to get back together with Easton. I would have loved for her to play hard to get a little longer.

I do love women in STEM, so I enjoyed Drake's intelligent character when it came to work, but she was a bit of a mess with her personal life.

I definitely love that there was no third act breakup. That's always a win in my book!

Overall, this was a solid read. It had mystery, steam, banter, and romance. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves a workplace romance and second chance romance!

Oh Marni, You always know how to write a good book. All romance readers if you are looking for a good contemporary second chance romance, Mr. Hookup is the new read you need to pick up. You know the story, a guy creates a app, Boy finds girl, they fall in love but then she just disappears all of a sudden.. Then of course you know somehow they will come back together and wah-lah, you get these two Easton and Drake! <3
It is your typical second chance, boss/employee relationship story but you know you all love to read these every once in awhile!

Marni slid into my DMs when I started this book to tell me that it wasn’t Dalton level spice & I’m just gonna call her out & say…lies. The spice was SPICING, lady. And it started in chapter two!

It’s super challenging to write a full review for this without giving anything away…it’s a little twisty! So I’ll keep it short & sweet. I loved the online dating aspect (that’s how I met my husband). The couple’s chemistry was off the charts. They had an instant connection but it wasn’t really insta-love…you’ll see.

The guys’ friendship was so real & fun and I am very intrigued by the rest of their stories!

After Easton and Drake get a 100% match on a "hook-up" app, their chemistry is genuine and instant, creating a fiery pairing that burns hot until Drake shuts it down.

Getting to witness the bromance between Easton and his business partners was highly entertaining, right along with Drake and her bestie Saara. The characters are worth reading this book, and the storyline only makes it that much better.

Mr. Hook-up gives off strong You've Got Mail vibes, so prepare yourself for masked trysts, but the secrets are dragged out, which I greatly appreciated.

Diving into the worlds of Marni Mann is always a delight, especially when it's tied to her previous books, although it's not necessary to have read them first.

When you need spice in your life, Marni Mann will not let you down! She always weaves a great plot wrought with wonderful spice to heat you up and get your blood humming! The plot will not leave you wanting as it will feed your desire for delightful banter, a bit of will they/won't they and a plot twist leading towards the relationship between the main characters circling the drain! Never fear, the author doesn't leave you hanging and finds a clever way to bring you to the ultimate happy ending! Yes, double-entendre was purposeful and I promise it will be delightful! If your life needs spice, then this book should be on your TBR list now! For added fun, a couple of characters from another series make an appearance as well! I do so love a crossover, even if it is more of a cameo appearance than an actual insertion into the story. I really hope that this is the beginning of another series as it is obvious that the partners and friends of the main characters could be obvious main characters in future books! I know this is shocking, but even more than a good crossover, I do love a good series where you can really get to know the characters even better!

✔️I love the Bond they shared with their respective friends and love how they accepted the strong presence of each other’s friends in their life. (it’s kinda rare when a friends partner accepts the unconditional love a friend has)
✔️ Other than the MC’s my favourite was Saara and Belle.
✔️This book was a welcome treat with just the right amount of banter, angst, love and spice.

I flew through this book because it was so good! Marni Mann is the queen of angst and this book was filled with it. ⁣

Part 1 follows the first meet of Easton “MrBoston” and Drake “SaarasLove”. Easton is one of the founders of the app Hooked and matches 100% with Drake. They have their first meet up and hook up but both are wearing masks so they don’t know who each other are. They have a crazy amount of chemistry but unfortunately they don’t get to meet again until 5 years later. ⁣

Part 2 jumps to when Drake finds of Easton is her boss. They have such a connection and chemistry still! You don’t want to miss some of challenges they have to face to see if they will have this second chance!

Mr. Hook-Up was a fun, spicy, second chance workplace romance. Easy to read, easy to follow, enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. Insta-love at it's best. The spice between Easton and Drake was well delivered, as was the dramatic twist. Easton is the epitome of every good girls book boyfriend. Rich, attentive, and sexy as all get out.

A great light, spicy read! I'll definitely continue the series.

This needs to be series by Marni is everything I love and more. Easton, the hero, is GOALS!

Drake, the heroine, is fierce and strong! This new sexy and intriguing story is packed with all the feels! Drake and Easton have a chemistry that had my kindle on fire, I just could not put this book down for even a second.

I absolutely loved Marni Mann's Dalton Brothers series & had high hopes for this one too! Unfortunately, I just couldn't get into it. I really think it could be a promising story but the decision to make one of the first chapters nothing but text messages just didn't do it for me. Maybe I would have liked it a bit more if they had been formatted as actual text messages rather than just "Name: insert message in bold here". Maybe I'll try reading it again in the future, but it's just not the book for me at the moment.

➡️ I feel like I hit jackpot with this one, because it was my first book from this author and I absolutely had so much fun. There’s a little of everything I enjoyed: funny moments, great friendships, steam, love, dirty talking (from both sides!) and lots more. Oh for those who want to know no third act breakup.

Easton and his other two bffs launched a new dating app, Hooked, and the probability of a 100% match is almost inexistent, until their own owner hit gold with the mysterious Love. And without sharing their real names, they hit it off instantly and their connection is sexy and caring to see through. I was so obsessed. Until something happens and she leaves without trace.

Years later and wouldn’t you know, now Love is back and it’s working for Easton at Hooked. I was so happy that Drake and him found out their true identities quite fast, with unnecessary drama and their connection was even more strong. I adore when the couple form a strong bond and the kind f power couple.

Drake was an extremely likable character, so smart and power house professional. She also had zero inhibition with Easton and was super fun with her friend and really had her heart on her sleeve. Easton was oh so sexy and was head over heels in love with Drake now and even years before. I honestly can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

This book is addictive. I couldn’t stop reading. I adored Easton. He is Mr. Dreamy. Almost too dreamy. And hot, definitely hot. They are amazing together. There’s so much chemistry in this story! All the sexy time SIGH. The dialogs are witty and I laugh out loud many times. The secondary characters are really interesting and I need their stories ASAP! Specially Holden’s story! And his little Belle!
I highly recommend this super-hot romance!

Absolutely loved this book 5/5✨ It’s another great read with new characters and some Dalton cameos 😍 Easton (MMC) is one of the CEOs of Hooked, a hook-up app. He doesn’t anticipate his own profile matching 100% to anyone but it does with a woman named SaraaLove. They hit it off and he starts to fall which so was not the plan but then Love disappears and changes her phone number. It’s been five years. He’s tried to move on and yet she still haunts him. But things may change with their company’s new hire 😏

Drake (FMC) decides to apply for a position at Hooked and though she deactivated her account a while ago she is passionate to help them go international. She meets Easton and instantly feels like they have met somewhere or something but she can’t quite figure it out. She definitely shouldn’t be catching feelings for her now boss … could he be Mr. Boston 😯

Enjoyed this start to a new series and cannot wait for book 2! Loved how the first part was all in Easton’s POV. Then, in part two we got Easton and Drake’s POV. Adored them together and when he flew all the way to the west coast to save her reputation *swoon*. These two lit the pages and the plot was phenomenal. Cannot recommend it enough! Releases October 3rd!

We start when the app Hook was first created as a hook-up app. When Easton matches with username Love, they hit it off and have some great banter and then she disappears. Then we jump 5-years and a new woman enters Easton’s life and the sparks are all there…again.

I loved Easton and Drake so much. They shared crazy chemistry and I loved their back and forth. It was an office romance with a forbidden touch and forced proximity and I loved it and am so excited for the next book in the series.
