The book starts off with Eva getting her heart broken, but what comes after is both funny and entertaining. She vows revenge on her new, cheating husband and gets exactly that with the help of her husband’s best friend. I did find some parts to be a little unbelievable, like her and her husband not interacting or talking for days on end, but maybe some couples are just like that irl 😅
I loved watching her character evolve and watching her get the happily ever after she deserved! The spice was HOT and some parts pretty hilarious! And her friendship with Rachel was truly friendship goals!
If you like a fun, quick, spicy read then pick this one up!
First of all I woild like to thank Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.
I really enjoyed rhis book, it was a sweet fun read. Yes it was a bit predictable interms of "enemies to lovers", but it was an easy read with likeable characters...with the exception of the jackass Joe.
From the moment you are introduced to Eva and Ethan, who just so happens to be Joes best friend, the denied secual tension is palable, with the ruse of them "hating" one another.
It was nicely written and an easy read whilst sunning myself on the beach.
Do I recommend this book?...Heck yes.
Yes! I just loved it from the get go, I can’t even describe it but when you know you know that this is a very good book! Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my eArc of this book.
Beautiful amazing gorgeous 😍🥰
Thank you soooooo much netgalley, the author and the publisher for the advanced review copy if this book💗

I found it hard to connect to the main characters. They all seemed really full of themselves.
The book was pretty cute and had some steamy parts.
It’s an enemies to lovers trope.
There were some parts I couldn’t get into and I thought were slow.
I would still read other books by this author.
I'm sorry but I really did not like this book. The writing was very odd and felt like something that would've been published on Wattpad in like 2014 or something. I disliked the two main characters as well so that probably doesn't help. The FMC is just really whiny and lowkey not a good person and I just couldn't bring myself to like her. The MMC is not much better to be honest. He would talk behind the FMC's back the whole time his friend was with her and later on it was just chalked up to him being jealous his friend got to be with her...😐. The smut was definitely there but I could barely get through it because of all the different words used to describe body parts. All in all, if you're going to read this, beware of the terrible main characters and the weirdly written smut.
First thanks to the publisher, and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for my fair and honest review.
This book was a bit all over the place, and apart from the best friend Rachel, almost all the characters were terrible human beings just flailing about making horrible decisions.
I felt the “romance” or “love” that Eva and Ethan fell into was more about lust, we never really got a tender moment or a deeper conversation/scene where you could feel their admiration grow for each other. Their respect for one another started on shaky ground and then grew out of exacting revenge and having a bunch of role-play sex.
I will say though this was a fabulous somewhat well-written trainwreck. I had to keep reading and ended up enjoying the book like I enjoy a good reality show, where you know the characters are all obnoxious terrible people, but you can’t help but want to know what else they are going to do to get in their own way. For that reason, I gave it 3 stars. Maybe if you’re really into the cheating trope this will be better, but otherwise, I wouldn’t have great expectations.
This was not a bad book I love a good romcom that has a bit of revenge in it thanks for letting me read this
this was a good one and I was loving it all completely. I liked the title. That alone drew me in and I had to read this book. A good one. I will look for more Brooke Stanton books. This was yummy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
What a great enemies to lovers book!
Eva was ready to walk down the aisle to her fiancé Joe. Right before she did, she found out that her fiancé Joe was cheating on her. She decided to get revenge with his best friend, Ethan. Ethan was dealing with his own betrayal, and decided to help her.
I loved their witty banter and thought they were hilarious. This book was steamy, the plot was unique, and the characters were funny! I couldn’t put this book down. Although I am not a fan of the cheating trope, this one sat fine with me!
This was my first book from Brooke Stanton, and I can’t wait to read more! I really enjoyed this book!

Thank you to NetGalley, Brooke Stanton, and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for this ARC!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
*Reviewed on NetGalley and Goodreads.
This book was cute and a bit steamy and I enjoyed it. The enemies to lovers and fake dating tropes roped me in. However, all of the characters seem to be a bit self-centered and I really couldn't connect to most of them. I did like a good bit of the book but I just couldn't get past few parts. The banter was good though. Even though I'm giving this 3*'s I would like to try more of this author's books in the future.
Thank you NetGalley and Brooke Stanton for the ARC! :)
4.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
Thank you to netgalley, the publisher and Brooke Stanton for providing me with an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
While I definitely don’t condone cheating and it isn’t a trope I usually go for, the spice between Ethan and Eva was so amazing I struggled to put this down.
Highly recommend it!
The Revenge Pact is such an entertaining read, I couldn’t put it down. The characters are full of life, super funny, witty banter and the kind of people I want to friend, well maybe not Joe and Ashley. I found myself wanting to get in on the revenge, help out, give ideas and cheer them on in their plans. And the spice, oh the spice, give me a fan because oooh mama things were getting hot at the end. This book will keep your attention, have you laughing and will not let you down. Don’t miss out on this fun twist on a romance.
The title and cover of this book drew me in and Im so glad I was able to read early! This was the perfect quick, fun read that will have you laughing out loud and entertaining you from start to finish. It was funny, romantic and revenge-fun and I had such a good time!
This is my first book by this author. It was entertaining from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a book with a decent spice rating 🌶️🌶️🌶️ I give this 3/5. So you’ll probably be into it.
If you’re looking for character depth…you won’t find it here. Honestly the book didn’t really need all of that. Order to be a solid read. This was a story about a cheater, a green card and revenge.
I really appreciated that the author got right into it and didn’t add a bunch of “fluff” to hit a higher word count.
I was happy to see Eva moving on to bigger and better things 🍆😂😅😂
This was an adorable book. I loved it from the beginning.
It was such a fun adventure the only thing that bothered me was the cheating...
I do hate cheating and even though Eva found out her new husband was cheating first (and before the wedding), it doesn't give her permission to also cheat... It was the way she went about a few things that were kinda obsessive and crazy
There is too much to add to a review this is a book that you just have to read for yourself.
I was able to read this ARC thanks to the publisher and Net Galley. The above is my own opinions, honest and voluntary.
Eva and Ethan are complete opposites….she is obsessed with her planner and Ethan flies by the seat of his pants. Yet when Eva discovers that her husband is cheating on her, it is Ethan who volunteers to help. What better way to get even than a revenge affair??
Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC. This is definitely a fun beach read with a happy ending!
Such a unique book, I loved the plot, and oh my god the characters were so amazing!! I definitely will be recommending it!!
This book really just took me for a ride. I loved the build up, the character development, and the writing. I would definitely read more from this author!
Read this book with an open mind and enjoy the ride if you can. The Revenge Pact should not be taken seriously for all the blatantly alarming and ridiculous ways to get even with your cheater husband.
Thoughts:
• I didn't like it when the FMC found out on her wedding day that her husband has been cheating on her, she still walked on that damned aisle and said 'I do' because of that damn citizenship.
• My discomfort doubled when her cheating husband's best friend (MMC) also found out his best friend cheated on him with his girlfriend before they broke up. With that, they came up with a ridiculous revenge pact to get even with the cheater.
• There are a hundred ways to get even but the last resort the FMC did was so ridiculously dramatic, not unexpected, and to think he was her cheating husband's best friend although consensual, still, doesn't sit well with me. However, not gonna lie, but I slightly enjoyed the sexy parts of this book. How they ended up in that situation irks me.
• All the time I was reading this, I was mentally uncomfortable but at the same time invested in the story.
• The bottom line is, I hate the cheating trope and I don't see myself enjoying this kind of theme, also, the author failed to warn us of the content of this book which made it a miss for me.
CW: cheating, enabler, manipulation, roleplaying, body shaming, verbal abuse, panic/anxiety attack
Big thanks to the publisher for granting me an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
