It’s been awhile since I have read her books. I must say “ I have ever disappointed”. They grab you from the start and don’t let you go. The problem is they end to soon.now I am going to have to go back and catch up! Riley is someone with information that someone doesn’t want exposed. When a hit squad is sent after her she relies on her best friends to get her out alive, they send Pierce!

I loved the heroine in this. Riley was very intelligent, reacted to extreme situations with a level head and I got a kick out of her surprising the big, tough guys. She alone made this worth the read. But, add in a very smitten hero who is one of this big, tough guys, and that just made this book even better. Pierce was a very protective hero and I adored how much he adored Riley. I really enjoyed this couple and I'm glad they took down the bad guy.

This was a total must-read. it had a lot working for it. I really enjoyed the story and all that it was about. Good story and will read more from this author.

Brilliant story! Couldn’t put it down and finished it in 1 day. Very easy to read and the story keeps you hooked and craving for more.

Riley is very smart and works at NSO. While looking at video filmed in the Congo of the killing of American scientists by the Chinese, she sees that it is fake. It's really an American security company killing the scientists. But the video gets out and America and China are about to go to war. Armed men show up at her work and they've already killed her boss and now they are after her. Riley calls her friends and they send Pierce, an ex SEAL who works for a security company out in Oregon, to help her. Pierce swoops in and takes her to a safe house. Another ex military man knows a lot of people in high places and gets her an audience with them to show her findings. Riley still has bad guys after her and Pierce will do everything in his power to protect her. Can they stop the world from going to war?

Fast paced. Sex. Action. Fall in love "almost" at first sight, within a couple of days. There was some repetitivenss having to do mostly with her friends she used to work with. In my opinion it didn't need to be said so many times.
