I really enjoyed this and there were some very funny observations and little one liners! Really enjoyed the way the story was told from both points of view and found the characters pleasant and good fun. Loved the ending, not cliched and a quick fix, definitely a brilliant book for this summer x

Would You Ask My Husband That? by Kathleen Whyman is a cute and funny story.
A very fun filled read that some could totally identify with, was undemanding, entertaining and very well written. I enjoyed the writing and the characters were so much fun.

Enjoyed this read and the light hearted of the story. Love the role swapping between husband and wife and seeing them cope with reversed roles. A laugh out loud one.

Read and reviewed in exchange for a free copy from NetGalley. This was an enjoyable read which explored important themes around gender roles and expectations in family life. I found Will unlikeable for a lot of the book due to his attitude, but still enjoyed the book.

This is a brilliant book. A husband and wife end up swapping roles in a family. I just loved how the woman was still supposed to keep the house running and work as the husband could not multi task. Lots of twists at the work place. It was sad and funny. I loved the ending and afternoon delights. Also how the novelty of daddy in the play ground wore off. . A really good funny read. Made you think as well about your roles in your family..

5 stars and I’ll tell you for why! To be honest I’d give it more stars if it was a feature but alas, 5 is my limit but in my head I’ll be giving it 10.

This is a book that will make you laugh. Like full on embarrassing ugly snort laugh in public. I adore the authors writing style and it completely vibed with me and had me embarrassingly ugly snort laughing in public. I knew it was going to be a winner from the start and by the end, I was so quickly racking through the pages to find out what was going to happen and how it was going to end, I pretty much got eye whiplash!

It was so simply realistic in how a family could face its struggles and a husband and wife could so easily slip out of sync with each other. With role reversals highlighting the small cracks, over the book we see them splinter but somehow they always manage to come back to each other. Saying that, the whole book was threaded with so much humour it was great.

It had a lot of entertainment value and I always looked forward to returning back to the book. In fact, it was preferable to doing all the things I had meant to be doing but chose (quite wisely) to finish the book instead and now I’m sad it’s done.

I can’t wait to read more book from this author and this is definitely a book I’ll reread again if I need a happy little chuckle pick me up. Which to be honest, who doesn’t? Can’t go much wrong with this read.

Would You Ask My Husband That?
An absolutely hilarious, laugh out loud page turner
by Kathleen Whyman
It was a good enough book. I just didn't find An absolutely hilarious, laugh-out-loud page-turner. It was a book I set aside and would read a bit at a time. I am sure some will love it, it missed the mark for me.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to read/review this book. I look forward to sharing my full thoughts and a review here soon. What a great concept for a book! I find many book today to be either a bit repetitive or not offer a unique perspective, but this certainly fits the bill. I can’t wait to see a husband/wife team switch places and what that will bring and I know our readers will too!
