Happy is a comic book, not a happy bright comic book, but one that deals with the dark side of crime. Nick Sax is an ex-cop, now a hit man, he is chasing a child killer Santa, when he is injured and put into hospital. He wakes up and comes face to face with a blue horse called Happy.

I enjoyed Happy, it is not a children's comic. it a dark dark comic,

I tend to find Grant Morrison's work rather hit-or-miss. Sometimes, he can pull of great stories, while at other times I can't stand what he's written.

Interestingly, HAPPY! falls somewhere in the middle. The dialogue is kind of... well, sophomoric. But, there's some good stuff in here, too, and it's not hard to see why it was picked up for a TV adaptation.

I did not have a chance to read this book, but it is effecting my feedback rating. I am giving books 5 stars that I haven't read to improve my feedback rating. I am not recommending the book for my classroom or students since I have not read the book. There needs to be a better system of leaving feedback for books not read.
