I have read a few LJ Shen Books. It haven’t in a While. This was a very bully romance with a dash of suspense. I just was not vibing with the characters, their interaction with each other or the plot. Someone else may love it though.

I had all of the emotions for this read, it was very much enjoyed. I liked it. I also like that it was spicy but the feelings were high.

Pretty Reckless by L.J. Shen was a rollercoaster of emotions. The tension between the characters was electric, and the angst had me hooked. While the story was intense and sometimes a bit over-the-top, I couldn’t stop reading. If you like dark, steamy romance, this one’s worth picking up!

I love L.J. Shen and Pretty Reckless was no different. A roller-coaster. Wow....just wow! L.J. Shen has once again delivered a powerful and emotional story that has left me obsessed and begging for more!!

I just couldn’t get into this one. The characters weren’t likable or relatable in my opinion. A lot of it felt forced.

Ooooft this was an emotional and powerful story! Penn and Daria have so much history and it was absolutely gut wrenching and such a rollercoaster to read about their past's and how it shaped them into who they are today. The animosity is THERE and I was living for the angsty interactions and banter.

This is my first read by LJ Shen and the author delivered big time on the intense anguish and sizzling hot chemistry. I'll definitely be back for more from this author!

Enemies to lovers will always be a favorite and is guaranteed to keep me up late waiting to see who makes the first move, who gives in first! Ha! I loved these characters and their story. I have yet to read a book by this author that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed! I am looking forward to reading the rest!

If I’m honest I wasn’t that big of a fan of this one. It was a bit clunky, had a lot of errors, and just didn’t resonate with me much which is weird because I absolutely love books like this.

The first book in the All Saints High (ASH) series which follows on from the parents' series Sinners of Saints (SOS). Daria is the daughter of Jamie and Melody, who's story is Defy from the SOS series, and Penn is her rival/enemy from the opposite side of the tracks. Despite her family seeming to have it all, Daria is actually damaged and broken than the façade that she presents to others. However, Penn sees past this.

Their relationship changing from hate to love with all the extra drama brings us on the same emotional rollercoaster ride the characters go through. LJ Shen never ceases to pull me into the stories she writes and I look forward to all future releases she will write.

Ive heard so much about this author so I knew I needed to read something by her and im so happy I did. this one recked me in the best way. im talking happy tears sad tears kicking my feet I loved it.

I absolutely loved this book. These characters had me laughing, and crying, and loving so hard. I adore this world of LJ Shen, and I cannot wait to continue the series

I absolutely love LJ Shen books but this series is definitely one of my favorites. Pretty Reckless has everything I was looking for in a book. This is a spin off from the Vicious series by this author. The characters are in high school during this book which I’m usually not a fan of, but I really enjoyed this for book. Highly recommend giving this book a try if you love a romance with some angst!

Despite their harsh exteriors, you can’t help but root for them as they start to break down each other’s walls and confront their past mistakes. The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is that some of the drama feels a bit over the top at times, and certain plot points could have been explored more deeply. However, if you’re a fan of dark, emotional romances with strong characters and plenty of tension, *Pretty Reckless* is definitely worth the read. It’s a gripping story that will keep you hooked until the very last page.

I enjoyed this one, it had a lot of drama and I enjoyed the MCs. I would recommend this book others. I would say it isn't my favorite from the author but sill enjoyable.

I enjoyed this one for the most part. I did have high expectations after loving the parents' series, but this one fell flat for me. The chemistry and romance felt off, and I grew bored with the main characters. Things did start picking up after a long while, which is when I started to enjoy the direction of the story, but overall, I expected more. I can't wait for Angry God, though!

Enemies to lovers, forbidden romance, drama, hot scenes... What else can u ask for? Lol... I stayed up late finish this one in one sitting it was so good ..

While I do like some of L.J. Shens work this one was just not griping me unfortunately.

Pretty Reckless is the first book in the All Saints High series. This book is high on angst and drama, the characters are well developed, the plot is real dark and your emotions will be all over the place. High School Queen B meets her match in the football star who is her rival in every way. If you trigger easily, then this book is not for you, do not stop, pass and go!
