This is a great book for beginners ready to learn about mushrooms. I am really impressed with how detailed the book is and I enjoy the pictures for each of the mushrooms. I also really like how the mushrooms are categorized by the type of mushrooms they are such as no gill mushrooms, caps, gills, false gills, etc.

This book also describes what some of the false-mushrooms might look like and what the difference is. I would say that I am a beginner forager with some experience, so I hope new foragers really read the difference between the mushrooms and know that it is okay not to pick the mushrooms you are unsure of.

I also like how this guide touches upon mushroom identification apps. I think the only good thing about those apps is sparking curiosity to learn more about that mushrooms and its look-alikes.

I am definitely purchasing this book as I love to flip through and learn more and more about mushrooms, even the ones that I might not come across.
