Christina Soontornvat has a talent for writing stories that young (and older) readers can enjoy, and a knack for creating rich fictional worlds. This book is the second entry in a series, a continuation read for those who have enjoyed Legends of Lotus Island #1 and who are looking for an immersive adventure in prose.

Second book in this new fantasy series accessible to younger readers. Great for kids who have finished Dragon Masters or Kingdom of Wrenly and are looking for another fantasy. I love all the elements of nature that are woven in as well as kids learning how to be guardians of the plants and animals of their world. Can't wait for book 3 (and I rarely read past the first book in a series because I have a scary TBR pile).
