The Poison Waves Secrets of the Sky" by Sayantani DasGupta is a captivating and enchanting sequel that delves deeper into the magical realms introduced in the first book. The story follows twins, Kiya and Kinjal, on another thrilling adventure in the Kingdom Beyond.

DasGupta's storytelling is rich in imagination, and her vivid descriptions bring the Kingdom Beyond to life. She seamlessly weaves magical creatures and realms, adding depth to the world-building, making it a fantastical journey for readers of all ages.

The book is great for kids 8-12 and not only continues to explore themes of courage, friendship, and the interconnectedness of all things but also introduces a new layer of intrigue and danger. Readers will eagerly be waiting for the next chapter in Kiya and Kinjal's extraordinary adventure.

Sayantani DasGupta hits it out of the park with another enjoyable book with a strong message. I read this with my 9 year old who is a big fan of all things Kingdom Beyond.

Secrets of the Sky was a great adventure with a great message. This story even inspired the 9 year old to do his own PH test on multiple sources of water. The banter between Kiya and Kinjal is heartwarming and entertaining, typical sibling relationship. The emphasis on kindness and caring really speaks to my sweet child.

I enjoy the message that’s relayed to children through this story. It’s well told with enough humor and adventure to keep kids entertained through the 100+ pages.
