I loved this book! This is the kind of book my witch loving 7 yr old daughter and my prank loving 10 yr. old daughter love too. This book would be a great read aloud book for October (conveniently, that's when the book releases as well).

Dalia was an adorable fish out of water main character. She reminded me so much of 9 year old me, who struggled to find her place in school and in the world at large. Dalia feels a little isolated and struggles to connect with the other princesas, but on the other side of that, we have Eloísa who is rocking being a true friend. I loved that Eloísa recognizes that being strange and weird isn't a bad thing and that everyone has something to offer to those around them if you just give them a chance.

I love that Dalia is making good friends and learning how to be a good friend to Dominga. I love that they are perseverant and persistent in their plans together.

Overall, this is a really fun book featuring witches and special schools for princesses and for villains with a whole lot of heart. I feel like girls ages 6 and up will relate to the main character and enjoy the witchy antics of Dalia and her friend.
