The story is beautifully written. It was emotional, intense, passionate and entertaining. You can tell that these two MCs are perfect for each other, but their path to happily ever after is quite complicated. There's drama, there's miscommunication which has been going for so long; fuelling an incredible amount of tension and angst in their relationship, Also, I really loved the heroine, she was so witty, fun and relatable. With her, there were no dull moments in this book. And that ending had me swooning!!

T L Swan does it again! This book gave me all the feels and left me with book hangover.🥰 The way she makes her characters feel so real is pure magic. Henley is a beautiful broken man that I sometimes wanted to strangle, but at other times just wanted to hold in my arms. He meets his match in the lovely Juliet. She has a heart of gold but don’t mistake that for weakness.

Their love story is one of frustration, fear and sadness but also of patience, support and forgiveness. And let’s forget the spice.🌶️😉 Tee has given me another group of friends to love. I’m totally reading this again when my physical book arrives in August. I can’t wait for next installment of the Kingston Lane series.

I get so excited when I see that TL Swan has a new release. I know that it’s going to be a book that I am unable to put down, and that holds true with her newest release “My Temptation”. This is a whole new series with a whole new group of characters for us to love.

Henley and Juliet have a bit of a rocky start, Henley is not the easiest man to be with, but the question for Juliet is, will this man be worth it?

Read this book, get sucked into this world, fall for these characters. Tee has a way with words that paints such a visual picture that you are going to be on the putting green with the guys and loving every moment. I can’t wait to see what she has in-store for us next!!

I was given this book as an ARC and wow. Tee writes beautifully and keeps me captivated till the end. Imagine going out on a date with a man, hitting it off and then hitting it ;). The next day you make plans to have dinner, he ghosts you, and your best friends at the club send you videos of him checking out another woman. That's what happened to Juliet with Henley. To make matters worse, she sees him at a coffee shop two days later. Her brother, aware of the situation talks to Henley as her "fiance". They part ways as he hates her for being "betrothed" and she hates him for ghosting.

Fast forward 3 years. Juliet gets her inheritance from her grandmother and fulfills her dreams of buying a fixer upper. Her next door neighbor? Henley, the perfect mind blowing man that ghosted her. Her dream turns from happy to WTF real quick.

The wit, the hurt and pain of this book was great. I gave it 4 stars because I felt there were some story plots missing, and a few people left not talked about. BUT it did set up the rest of the series for Kingston Lane. The character development for Henley was rushed in my opinion. I wanted a deeper dive into his redemption.

Overall, great story, steamy scenes, and Henley can cook pancakes for me any day.

Y’all… I actually freaked out when I got this book as an ARC. TL Swan is an autobuy author for me and I spent a lot of time last year reading almost every book she’s ever published. Her book The Stopover got me back into reading in 2020 and I just cannot rave enough about her.

This is the first book in a new series of standalones, the Kingston Lane series.

Henley and Juliet have one of the best first dates that she’s ever experienced, the chemistry is unreal. She thinks she may have finally broken the awful dating cycle, until he ghosts her. She decided right then that she hates him for making her feel this way and tries to forget all about him. That’s going really well until she buys her dream home years later… it comes with an unfortunate neighbor, Henley James. She absolutely is not going to let the temptation next door break her heart.

TL Swan knows how to write a MMC, let me tell you. Henley is just arrogant enough, just take charge enough, and just enough of a secret cinnamon roll to tear you up. Juliet is strong and doesn’t just take whatever Henley is giving without firing back. The banter in this book is phenomenal (which you can expect from all of her books). I loved the side characters, they had a lot of substance and I can absolutely see where the rest of this series is going. The spice is great, of course. I love that the setting of this is a neighborhood, I can’t wait to see where that goes. There are so many good tropes here, even a little fake dating which we all know is my absolute favorite. If you’re a romance reader, especially a spicy romance reader - this is for you.

My Temptation is the beginning of the Kingston Lane series and I already know I will love them all.

I quickly fell in love with these characters (although at times Henley was insufferable 😅)

The banter was perfection! This books brings the comedy that we know and love from T.L. She has this way of writing a short tempered MMC that has me laughing out loud through the whole book and swooning at the same time.
Henley and Juliet are book couple goals!

There is forced proximity, undeniable instant attraction, found family & fake dating.

I now wish I lived on Kingston Lane.

Skip to three years later, a home purchase, and you have an awkward as hell moment meeting your next door neighbor. In a style she’s mastered, Tee has you laughing and lusting after these characters as Juliet settles into the neighborhood.

Forced proximity, alphahole behavior, fake dating, beautiful men vying for Juliet's affection and a cul de sac that is stacked with hot, hot neighbors, this is definitely going to be an amazing series. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the residents if Kingston Lane!

Henley has some really glaring red flags for me and I applaud the way TL addresses PTSD in a way that is reflective on how it can manifest into your daily life. Juliet took her time and did not immediately give in to his behavior and allowed him time to heal and process.

Oh T L Swan...I've loved you for years and you have yet to disappoint me! This was another great book and I loved every second of it.

From the first few pages the story is off and running. Juliet's inner dialogue was hilarious. Henley is the perfect broody, flawed but sensitive man. The secondary friendships on both sides added to the story and the neighbors were perfection. I need more! Chloe, Rebecca and all the men on the street...I hope they all form an upcoming series.

This book was more than just one relationship. It was about friendship, aging parents, childhood trauma, learning to trust, following your heart and a huge leap of faith. Don't skip out on this one!!

Tee most definitely did not disappoint with this new release, Henley and Juliet’s story is everything!

With all these tropes, enemy-to-lovers, second-chance romance, and next-door neighbor, you won’t drop this book until you finish it.

This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions with their sharp banter, insanely electric connection, and fiery exchanges, as much as his back story of struggles and how they work it up. Is just everything I like to read.

I can not wait for the next book in this new series, these passionate supportive characters look very promising.

I normally am not a fan of enemy to lover troupes bec it just drags on and feels so unrealistic. But then you get a TL Swan book and you know before opening it magic is about to unfold. And unfold it did in My Temptation. I loved her. I loved him. I loved the friends. The neighbors. And the darn neighborhood. Heck I’d even read even a spin-off novella of Carol! The book is spicy and fun and addicting! One of my favorite romance reads this year bec it gave me goosies as chemistry zapped right off the page!

She's done it again. I am so excited for this new series by TL Swan, and what a way to kick it off. So steamy, NOT a slow burn (thank goodness). Fun to read and I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for more Kingston Lane!

If you didn’t know who the author of this book was but had read TL Swan before, you’d recognise her writing style and voice as soon as you began this story.

Henley and Juliet meet, go on an amazing date, and then a few years later end up as next door neighbours on Kingston Lane. Their attraction and chemistry is undeniable. Juliet knows she has feelings for Henley, and is fairly sure he reciprocates those feelings, but he finds relationships almost impossible.

There are plenty of ups and downs, in typical TL Swan style they really have to work to earn their HEA! I would have loved to read even more about these two and their relationship once they got their HEA, and really hope we get to see lots of them in the next books from this series. I already have a couple of theories about potential couples! I loved Kingston Lane and all it’s various residents. Well, most of its residents!

So.. where to start.

This gave me Tristan Miles vibes and as he is my all time favourite TL Swan character then THIS BOOK IS A HIT!

Honestly hassle very thing I live in a book by TL Swan, alphahole male character who falls so hard he becomes sickly sweet - well not too sweet we know how he likes it!

A female MC that even though her heart is broken she finds that inner strength and grows into the strong women she’s meant to be DESPITE that male MC.

We have steam, we have some hilarious banter (honestly chuckled so loud) plus we get to meet a whole new set of characters that I can’t wait to see fall in love!

As always a binge worthy read which I might have to reread as I need me my fix on Henley James

I was so excited to receive this ARC, I am a huge fan of TL Swan so thank you for this opportunity.

This novel was so much more than I thought it was going to be.

FMC Juliette is adorable, but with a terrible track record with men, she is our ray of sunshine.

MMC is Henley he is our gruff, stubborn, demanding, domineering, control freak, he is our grumpy.

Their first date is EPIC in every aspect (wink, wink). Fast forward a couple of years when they meet again by chance.

A string of events take place, he pushes her button and she pushes back, the tension between these two is at an all time high. Their journey is hampered by life, other people and circumstances.

Fabulous introduction to a new series, cannot wait to find out who plays the leading role in Book 2.

Definitely recommend.

T L Swan does it AGAIN with an absolutely addicting book! Her writing allows the reader to become so invested in the characters, you feel like your a part of Kingston Lane! Henley and Juliet’s romance keeps you wanting more throughout the book. Highly recommend this read!

My Temptation is the first book in a new series by TL Swan.
I was thrilled to be given an opportunity to read an early copy. I knew Tee had a new series planned, had little information to go on. This was so much more than I expected.

Henley James is a complicated character. Just when you think you have him figured out, you don’t.
I loved him! He is one dirty talking, dominating, classic alpha hole with deep seated vulnerabilities. Not saying anymore for fear of spoilers.

Juliet Drinkwater and Henley meet by chance and have a fantastic evening. Three years later they meet again. Only this time things don’t go as smoothly. Enemies to lovers with loads of extras make this one angst ridden & steamy tale. The supporting cast includes their friends, family and colleagues, which add additional depth and sets the stage for the rest of the series.

Resist reading reviews with spoilers and go in blind.

My only complaint is i wanted more, another chapter or two to clear up a few things. I was left with some lingering questions about Henley’s past that confused me, plus a bonus epilogue would have been most welcome.

4.5 stars.

This story sets up the perfect community in Kingston Lane, a picturesque cul-de-sac with gorgeous, historic homes with a hefty price tag, eligible bachelors (Navy SEALs and doctors, oh my), and so much potential for the rest of this series.

This book focuses on Juliet Drinkwater and Henley James. Their story is told in dual POV, has some delicious spice and a lot of angst/drama. It's one of those where you wanna shake the characters and just get them to TALK to each other. They figured it out in the end (literally, the last 4%), I was getting worried for a bit. Looking forward to more of this series of interconnected standalones!

This is absolutely a classic TL book. Witty, Spicy, Clever and Hilarious. I flew through this one and am not surprised.

I loved Henley as an MMC. Possessive, grumpy and a little broken.
Juliet was hilarious as the FMC and was strong when it came to knowing what she wanted. My only issue with her was that she was too much when it came to being in love. It was a little over the top.

While I don't think this was a 5 star book, I still ate it up and loved it because TL honestly knows how to write a damn book. If you love TL you'll love this.

Henley James is grumpy/alphahole with a past that makes you want to give him a hug. Tee always has a way of making us fall for these men! Juliet is strong, caring and goes after what she wants. She sure does give Henley a run for his money!

I was beyond excited to receive this as an ARC and I was not disappointed! With this being the first in the Kingston Lane Series, I seriously can not wait to find out the story of the other neighbors.
