I'm pretty sure I've read all but one or two of Jen Lancaster's books by now; I've been a big fan for many years. On average, I prefer her non-fiction books. But I still enjoy all of her fiction I've gotten to so far, and Housemoms was no exception. It was a fairly quick, easy, fun read with no shortage of hilarity and sass.

I read this book in a day and I never looked back! The twist and the plot were pretty easy to identify but the different POV's kept me intrigued to see how everything was going to unfold.
Overall I give this 5 out 5 because it really was a great book and I will definitely read more from this Author. I enjoyed the thrill of the plot and its twists.
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC copy of the book!

Housemoms by Jen Lancaster was a funny and genuine story.
I did find this book to be a slow-burn. The characters were bright and the writing kept me engaged.
This is my first time picking up this authors work and I look forward to reading more from Lancaster in the future.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Little A for the opportunity to read this ahead of its publication date in return for my honest review.

I much refer Jen Lancaster’s non-fiction work, that is where she really shines. Housemoms is okay but I found it to be flat without a lot of character development and a meandering storyline that went off course much too frequently.

I used to be a big fan of Jen Lancaster, but unfortunately, I found this book to be very boring. I had to DNF it at 25%.
I will still try books of hers in the future though! I am optimistic about her bringing back more developed and humorous characters.

A funny and heartfelt novel about female friendship and starting over with a unique premise (think the House Bunny but for middle aged women). This was my first book by Jen Lancaster and I definitely enjoyed it. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review!
