When I saw Shelley’s latest release in the A Season in Pinecraft series available I just had to grab it and read in less than a day. Never mind that it doesn’t release until November I wasn’t waiting to read it!
I’ve loved this series and getting to know the girls who met on a bus in an ice storm on the way down to Pinecraft. This happened in the first book. Each book in the series has taken us through the girls’ friendships and meeting their beau, marriage and them settling into adult life.
I enjoyed reading the descriptions of Pinecraft, Florida and its Amish population and how they’ve adapted to life there. This book is about Lilly Kurtz, leaving her old life behind is not quite as easy as she thought it would be. Secrets seem to come to light when you least expect it, but will it put a damper on her new budding relationship with hardworking farmer Eddie Byler?
Eddie and his grandmother, November have traveled from Ohio for a vacation. I’ll say November is unlike any Amish woman I’ve read about. She’s sassy and I love her character.
Lilly is happy, she’s found work at an inn and gets along well with the other employees and the owner. When she is blamed for an incident beyond her control at work who will she have to fall back on? I have really enjoyed this series; I think it may be my favorite by the author and greatly look forward to her next series. I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

I enjoyed this series very much, and Her Secret Hope is a perfect ending to this trilogy. I loved returning to Pinecraft and the familiar characters there. Lilly’s story is different from her friends’ and I thought Lilly and Eddie were so fun to follow. New characters kept things interesting, especially the spunky grandmother November. I recommend this series if you like clean, Christian fiction, romance, and Amish stories. This is Shelley Shepard Gray at her best.
*I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and Revell Publishing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the third book in a series and it was lovely to be back in Pinecraft. This book has a wonderful cast of characters, both old and new, I especially loved meeting November and her hint of sass.
A very sweet Amish romance, definitely recommend.
Thank you for the author, publisher and NetGalley UK for a free ebook in exchange for an honest review.

Lilly and Eddie had a wonderful story. It was a great addition to this series. The minor characters new and old, fit this story together.

This is the third book in the author’s A Season in Pinecraft series. We once again see the friends who met while traveling to Pinecraft and became close friends. Lillie Kurtz decided she is ready for a fresh start and decides to join her friends who have found husbands and have stayed in Pinecraft permanently.
Lilly enjoys her new life, having left behind secrets from her past, and looks forward to seeing what this new life will bring.
She took on a job of cleaning in a bed and breakfast. While there, she meets vacationer, Eddie Byler and his grandmother, November. Lilly wants to keep her past to herself, but will it now come forward through circumstances beyond her control and change all her plans?
This is a quick read that anyone who likes Amish romance books will enjoy reading. I highly recommend it.
Thanks to Revell and NetGalley for the advance copy. The opinions expressed are my own.
