Quick easy read. Always an HEA with this series, but this is the first book I've read from this author. I loved the way the author refernced characters and detail from other books and eluded to not one or two additional stories to come, but three. This book runs simultaneous with Jude Knight's "Talons Of The Lyon." Ewing uses her words wisely and give glimpses into the H's true character, and does foreshadowing effortlessly. The H/h are good, but together they are better, make each other better. In redeeming Moriah, Vincent finds love, and that makes for a love match and the HEA.

It was refreshing reading about a lady who had already been married and not a young debutant! It was an ok story, I don’t like how it seemed they just fell in love after she wasn’t fond of him at first and then he does something and all of a sudden both have stars in their eyes, it just wasn’t believable. Not a bad story just not my favorite.

If you have been following this series (either from the beginning or over the past few entries) you know we got a little intro to Moriah and Vincent in Talons of a Lyon. From that book I knew Moriah would be reunited with some of her father's family but it was really great to see how that all came to be. And to see how she and Vincent fell in love given her more complicated past. They certainly had a interesting first interaction which maybe they can leave out when they tell their grandchildren later. It is easy to like both of these characters and to cheer them on as a couple. The side mystery surrounding who was trying to harm Moriah added a little extra drama and created more of a connection between our two main characters. Another great entry into this thoroughly entertaining series!

Superbly written, gripping intrigue with a dash of laughter and lingering hot romance marks this, Lyon’s Den: A Connected World book To Claim a Lyon’s Heart novel by Sherry Ewing, a page turner.

This one is stunning in how beautifully it is executed, with all the layers to the characters, the twists and turns in all its various subplots. I loved so much about it - so so so good! I will write more when my book hangover lets up. It is AMAZING!!.

She’s had to make heartbreaking choices to survive but now the Black Widow of Whitehall has found her a champion to right the wrongs in her life. Their attraction and bond to each other is instantaneous but first they have some creative ideas to overcome some societal taboos with the help of some powerful friends, and solving a mystery as well! Excellent read.

Thank you NetGalley for this fun read. Moriah was raised in Society until her parents died and her grandfather turned her away. Then she meets the Marquis of Saxton at the Lyon's Den and all he has to do is introduce her back in to Society again. But more happens than that. Saxton falls in love with her. Accidents are happening to her and they are not able to find out who is behind it. The four widows in this story of which Moriah is the first to find her own true love and the others I am sure will follow.

I like this series but this one seemed rushed. They went from just meeting to in love within a few days. If you are looking for a quick story it's okay.

This story was fast easy read. Due to the short length, Vincent and Moriah's relationship felt like a bit of insta-love. Moriah had been treated very unfairly in her life. As a young widow, she had few options for survival. She became a mistress until her final benefactor set her up in his will. Even though she now had financial security, she was shunned by society. A friend decides that Moriah needs to meet a man who will help elevate her to the social status that she deserves. Enter Mrs. Dove-Lyon and Lord Vincent. Vincent is immediately enamored with Moriah and is willing to go to great lengths to help her. They soon realize that someone is trying to deliberately harm her. With Vincent by her side, the threat to Moriah's safety is eliminated and her place in society is secured. This book was entertaining, but I think that its short length did not allow for enough development of Vincent and Moriah's relationship. I received a free ARC from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Gambling, Widows, Confessions:
Vincent finds himself hounded by his parents to find himself a wife. He turns to Mrs,Dove Lyon the perfect person to help him find the right lady.
This is where Moriah comes into the story and their romance adventure begins with immediate attraction and desire, but things do not run as smoothly as they would have liked.
There is a mystery here that has strange accidents occurring a bit too often. Lots of confessions. Good and awful.
The story moves at a fast pace with a few twists here and there.
A book that wasn't overloaded with too much dialogue but still packed with lots of good enjoyable reading material.
A solid good romance story that continues this amazing Lyons Den series.

Another wager at the Lyon’s Den finds Moriah the recipient of a future love match but there are obstacles that must be overcome first. Vincent realizes his loss was planned and now he is set to meet with Mrs. Dove-Lyon to see what comes next. The story was well written and entertaining. Danger is lurking and there are many surprises that come to light as the villain is caught. It is an interesting read and I enjoyed it.

The story started with great promise but quickly fell flat. While I enjoy a short book, I do not like it to feel rushed. Vincent falls in love wit Moriah after only a few brief meetings. He is a future duke and she is a thirty year old widow who has been the mistress of several men since her husband died. Her last protector died leaving her wealthy enough to survive on her own, but Moriah wants to be excepted into a society she has never been in. As a niece of an Earl, she feels it is her right. Moriah is quickly excepted by the family who disowed her father for marrying a commoner and even by Vincent's parents.
Moriah is trying to improve her reputation one minute and afraid there will be gossip when Vincent carries her to her bed after an injury, but then constantly wants him to stay and go to her bed.
The story wasn't for me, but others may enjoy it. I had a hard time finishing it.
