Hang on to your hats because this is one WILD ride! It starts out from the first chapter and just keeps coming. I loved the banter between Byron and Nancy as well as their willingness to be vulnerable with each other. I never really thought about how a man would feel, stepping out of the “Duke” zone and the author writes this very well. Nancy is a red headed spitfire who would do anything for her loved ones and her speaking her mind is hilarious at times. I was truly shocked by some of the secrets Byron kept, the least one being a heartbreaker. I can’t help but think there is another book there with that one! WONDERFUL STORY!
I received this ARC book for free and these are my own opinions
Byron, a duke, has been chasing after the Glasshand Gang ever since they have hurt his family. When he gets a tip they are going to rob a mail coach in Dover, he jumps into his coach to chase after them to stop them. He did not plan on a stranger, a woman named Anne, to join him in the chase. Anne is concerned for her younger sister who is on the coach. They try to ignore their attraction to each other. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.
Welcome to the “Dukes in Danger” series, Book 4, grab your hat as you take off on this adventure!
Byron Renwick, Duke of Sedley, is a man on a mission. Vengeance fills his soul, and he will stop at nothing to gain justice…he just didn’t anticipate a tempting sidekick to join his mission, nor did he anticipate all the tight.shared.spaces he would find himself, “enduring” enjoying on said mission! 😉
A Duke in Time Saves Nine is another example Emily EK Murdoch’s stellar talent as an author and I enjoyed every word! This story takes you on a race against time road-trip through England along with a romantic journey between the two MCs, Byron Renwick, Duke of Sedley, and Miss Anne Mead. I absolutely loved the relationship between Sedley & Anne and watching it slowly build with plenty of witty banter and slow burn moments totally made their epic coming together and HEA all the sweeter!
This story has something for every type of reader including adventure, angst, tail chasing and daring behavior, passion, and of course - Romance.
Tropes included are: Forced proximity, road trip, rescue mission, one bed, virgin MCs, steamy, and open door 🔥❤️🔥
I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for the next in the series.

A Fun Regency Romp
Byron Renwick Duke of Sedley was determined that this time he would catch and apprehend the Glasshand Gang.
Nancy not knowing who the Duke was and only knowing him as Byron after literally bumping into him just as the coach left took matters into her own hands after being told the situation and rushed off to save her sister.
A fun adventure chasing and trying to catch up with the coach going to Dover with lots of fun, witty and sizzling moments along the way!
Their journey into love was simply beautiful, two souls who had found each other in a strange but wonderful way and were always meant to be together.
Another wonderful read for this amazing author!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Cute fun read! A bit difficult at first to get into the story but overall once I did, I ended up enjoying the story!
After chasing the Glasshand Gang for months Byron Renwick, Duke of Sedley, was certain he would finally bring them to justice. A last minute change of plans and he missed the mail coach they planned on robbing, walked into a lady and accidentally told her the passengers on that coach were in great danger.
Having just learned her sister’s life was in danger, Anne Mead simply refused to take no for an answer, got in the rude gentleman’s coach and demanded he take her with him. Her reputation, or what was left of it, would be in tatters, but nothing mattered more than her family.
And that's how this unlikely pair found themselves chasing the miscreants to Dover in the death of night. She bold and inquisitive. He brooding and aloof. Both unwilling to share their secrets, yet inexplicably attracted to one another. A road trip taking several days, conversation unavoidable and as luck would have it, only one room left at all the inns along their path…
📚 Watching these two bicker and banter their way through the Kent countryside was such great fun! As the story unfolds, the MCs' personalities are further explored, leading to some shocking revelations and a surprising confession. Slowly they open up, their attraction grows and love blossoms. A thrilling climax at the end, and a well-deserved happy ending.
This is a fun, witty, romantic, adventurous and entertaining page-turner. A very enjoyable read!

Thank you Emily E.K. Murdoch, Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley for this eARC. All opinions expressed are my own.
Filled with sass, laughter, angst, and sizzling romance, Emily E. K. Murdoch has written another riveting novel in the Dukes in Danger series.
Byron, Duke of Sedley, meets his match in the feisty Miss Nancy Mead as they race across country to intercept the Glasshand Gang at Dover, and rescue her sister.
I am really enjoying this series. This time we follow the adventures of Bryon and Nancy where they both learn and comes to terms with inner turmoil and find love within each other. I liked that Bryon was not a rake, it gets old sometimes that the woman is always the inexperienced one. There is a tiny bit of intimacy but I love all the things that lead up to it the long looks, the kisses, and the running in to a wall of muscular man. I would have loved a little more closure for Byron but I can’t wait for the next in the series. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion.
Nightmares, Robbers, Temptress:
Byron has been pursuing a gang of robbers for a long time, His latest attempt at catching them has left him most aggravated and he literally runs into Anne, who also goes by Nancy through most of the book. I did not like the two-name thing from the author. Very distracting.
Neither are happy at that their encounter and their little feud begins, but wait where does the love story begin?
Maybe it begins at the third question or his laughing? The story is entertaining. The more I read the more their individual personalities came out
Well, the romance does grow deeper along with lots of attraction, passion, a couple of personal shocking revelations and some surprising confessions that caught me off guard.
The very exciting ending kept me on the edge and the happy ending was rewarding.

Nancy was a difficult heroine to like for me. She and Byron got off to a rough start, and I just didn’t completely feel the chemistry between the two. It had some of my favorite tropes, though, and ended up being a fun read.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions expressed are my own.
A fun story to read, enjoyed the plot and chemistry between the characters. Byron and Anne have an undeniable attraction. Lots of danger and secrets, a wonderful journey to love.
I loved this book. Love the couple and the story had me hooked on page one and kept me engrossed till the very end.
I don't normally love the hidden identity trope, but it worked for me here. Byron, Duke of Sedley, is desperate to capture the notorious Glasshand Gang. Anne/Nancy Mead (I never did quite understand the dual names) just put her sister on a mail coach Byron believes the Gang is going to attack. Together they chase the mail coach, though without Byron giving Anne/Nancy his true aristocratic identity. Last room at the inn tropes abound, as do romps in closed carriages. Along the way, they learn more about the other and fall in love. But Byron's penultimate secret leads him to a choice Nancy/Anne cannot abide, thus the third act (very short-lived) conflict. The hidden identity ends up being the least of Nancy/Anne's concerns, which I think is why I didn't mind it so much.
Byron and Nancy/Anne are exceedingly normal (other than him being a duke, of course). Neither seems overly clever or even extraordinarily good-looking - they just seem like two people thrown together by circumstance and making it work. There are no substantial quibbles about money, reputation, etc. The final confrontation scene itself feels anti-climatic. But overall a good book, though I wish we had gotten resolution on a few open questions - maybe they will be resolved further on in the series? Speaking of, while this is the 4th in a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone.
3.5 stars, rounded to 4. Thank you to NetGalley and Dragonblade for a complimentary ARC of this book. The opinions in this review are my own.
