This book was a lovely story which looks into the intricacies within a family and what problems they bring.

Holly, is working through a new phase, her father has lost his job and she’s doing her best to help him. But her intentions then makes things harder and tensions arise within her family as well as with her relationship with Ben.

I recommend this book.

Family Ties at the Second Chances Sweet Shop by Hannah Lynn is a heart-warming story that explores the complexities of family dynamics and the challenges they bring. Holly Berry, the protagonist, finds herself navigating new territory as she tries to help her father after he loses his job. However, her well-intentioned actions lead to unexpected complications and tensions within her own family and in her relationship with Ben. Lynn expertly weaves together themes of love, loyalty, and the delicate balance between personal and family obligations. With its delightful blend of humour, romance, and relatable family dynamics, Family Ties at the Second Chances Sweet Shop is a charming tale that will warm readers' hearts.

Fans of the first two in this series will also love this one. It's comfy, it's cozy, it's highly formulaic and predictable, it's super sweet, but it's also got a little high drama happening.

It's a Hallmark movie in book form and sometimes, that's exactly what you need on a lazy Sunday.

A lovely story . There are more in the series . Can read alone. I love the sweet shop. Made you nostalgic for old fashion sweets. Your parents are always there for you. Not sure I warmed to Ben , one of the main characters. Holly owned the sweet shop and you follow her personal life . Including employing her father. Some laughs . Enjoy

I enjoyed this story about Poppy and Ben, but I continually feel irritated by Poppy. She seems self centered and I end up feeling like those around her cage in. But the story overall was fine.
