Thank you to NetGalley, St Martin Press and Minotaur books for the opportunity to read this cozy mystery. The best part about cozy series is the recurring characters. This book is no different as the ensemble of characters is fun and diverse. Small town, cheese shop proprietress, and other supporting members help solve various mysteries. This wasn’t my favorite cozy mystery but it was fun. It started slow (and maybe for me because this was book four and I haven’t read 1-3) but picked up about halfway through. It ended abruptly but apropos to the character who was doling out the clues. A little too cute for me. But I enjoyed the narrative about various cheese and recipes.
Review: This was another five star read from Korina Moss! The Cheese Shop Mysteries are one of my favorite cozy series, and I absolutely loved this newest book. I don't want to say too much about the mystery aspect, but I will say I thought it was really well written, and I loved the treasure hunt part of it! And the personal lives of all the characters got a little advancement in this book, which I really enjoyed.
I received an e-ARC from the publisher.
When a renowned legend in the cheese world dies with his secrets a certain group of cheesemongers are hoping to inherit them. But who? When one of the group who happens to have a known allergy to honey succumbs to exposure there’s no way it could be accidental. At least that is what the attendees of the Northwest Cheese Invitational believe. Local cheesemonger Willa Bauer and her crew are once again on the case, much to the consternation of the local police. But will they be able to help solve the mystery?
Case of the Bleus was an okay read for me but had me wishing for a faster pace. I finished the book but skimmed along the way – not how I want to read but that’s how it went. I probably will call it a day with this series.
2.5 rounded up because of the yummy recipes at the end.
Another good addition to the series. We had a bit more about Willa’s past before Yarrow Glen. I did enjoy the story but it was not my favorite of the series thus far.

Team Cheese will be at work in hunting a cheesemonger secret when he mysterious dies at a cheese event. He was known for his award-winning blue cheese as many are eager to learn the recipe and storage of the cheese that will come to light at his reading.
Things do not go well at reading where the recipe is not revealed and the woman who seems closest to him suddenly dies things are smelly. Who is willing to hide the secret and willing to kill for it?
It’s a cheese that you’ll willing to die for in this quick paced gooey cozy.
