Another excellent police procedural by Gaye Maguire. I like the way the story incorporates the personal lives of the investigators as well as the fast paced, logical solving of crimes.
I cannot recommend this book and author enough. A totally gripping read.
A very definite 5/5 stars from me.

Fantastic second instalment in this series following Kate and her team of detectives. This book focuses on the girl in the red dress. Expertly written with fantastic twists and turns to keep you on your toes. I finished this book in one sitting can’t with for another instalment.

Loving Gaye Maguires work and loving this series

This is a brilliant follow up in the DS Kate Hamilton series, set in Dublin. Two students are missing and Kate is thrown into the investigation when a body is found washed ashore in Anglesey. The clever plotting centres around the Dark Web and a network of abuse. The characterisation is believable, the pace is fast and there's an unexpected ending leaving a third book in the pipeline. I definitely recommend the series and look forward to the next one. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, murder, mystery, abuse, revenge, dark web, A sort of who done it, great police work and some really crazy twists and turns that i did not see coming! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

This is the first book I’ve read by Gaye Maguire. It’s an excellent crime thriller. I generally don’t read crime/detective books this is a good book. Ms. Maguire has an excellent writing style that makes her characters come to life. While this is a book series and I haven’t read the first book I had no issue with keeping up.
