I'm not going to lie, this book immediately drew me in because of the cover. A romcom book with a dinosaur wearing a tutu on the front cover? SIGN ME UP!

The book itself ended up being a complete delight and the perfect light, funny, love story. And can I add that I will forever be grateful for the years my boys were obsessed with dinosaurs because I knew how to pronounce Deinonychus in my head.

For real though, this book was great. Girl gets stuck going to her actress sister's reality tv wedding. Bride doesn't like Groom's brother. Girl get mad and decides to get revenge by hooking up with Groom's brother. But of course it is never that simple. There's lots of sneaking around and awkward moments, complicated family dynamics, and a lot of heart. What a great ride!

The way the story is written really lets the readers experience the anxiety Thea is feeling. Same as the Kade induced hot and heavy feeling. The book is packed with stolen moments and occasions for the characters to learn that communication is best and assuming is not. That expressing their feelings is not only worth it, is necessary. And all of that, is given to the us the readers in between the lust and the chaos.

I truly love the way this author writes! Hysterical, light hearted, steamy, and has characters that you can truly relate to. Kade and Thea meet at their brother/sister's 80 themed wedding, and the laughs start from there and don't stop until the very last page. Loved the Wyoming setting, loved the antics with this over the top wedding, and truly loved this couple. Lots of emotional angst with the two families, but boy was it worth the read. Ending was perfect! Can't wait to get ahold of the next book Avery writes!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

I needed this book so much! The laughter and love within the pages is the perfect touch and will keep you hooked!

Thea and Kade would rather be anywhere then where they are right now! Forced to attend their siblings wedding has them grouchy and facing past traumas, but an unlikely agreement makes the torture worth it!

I love that as their relationship grew we got to see both of them grow and heal as well. There was so much to unravel in this book and Avery did a stellar job uncovering it all.

The heat in this book definitely set the pages on fire!! I did not expect the amount of heat that there was so be ready for all the steam!

This one started out strong and then kind of lost steam towards the end. Kade and Thea were cute, but I kind of wished for more plot/story. There was a heavy dose of steam which I appreciated, but it started to become repetitive after a while.

What’s On The Pages:
-a paleontologist aka the bridesmaid
-a badass, smoking hot groomsman who also is a true crime book author
-an 80’s theme reality TV wedding
-bonding over excruciatingly difficult families

A former child tv star turned palaeontologist, her Bridezilla sister, her former momager, a destination wedding from hell and a broody Best Man who thinks the wedding is as bad an idea as she does!

Thea's sister is like a diva on wheels, dropping insults left and right and expecting Thea to comply with every weird and wonderful rule of the wedding contracts (yes the wedding is sponsored to the nth degree and being screened pretty much live on tv). Kade is broody, traumatised, crime statistic spouting and sick of trying to tell his brother the wedding is a mistake.

These two fractured souls really do make a remarkable unit. They bring each other out of their comfort zones, see things from a fresh perspective...and are oh so flaringly hot for each! They are flawed and that makes me love them even more. They spout dinosaur and crime statistics when they get nervous, they despair over their siblings and both have questionable relationships with their parents.

Everything that was bad about the 80's is show horned into the wedding by the producers so there are plenty of opportunities for cringe-inducing memories if you are old enough to remember them the first time around like me! FWB becomes something more messy.

Thea has a superb small but tight friend group who see her for who she is. Their therapist is a wise woman and I loved the healthy respect they had for each others mental health.

Snarky, witty banter, well written scenes dealing with anxiety, and trauma responses. The various ways Thea and Kade escape the mayhem together is awesome. Some genuinely emotive moments. Looking forward to the next in the series!

I received an ARC of this book from Valentine PR and Avery Flynn in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much for the advanced copy!

I had an absolute blast diving into this book! Right from the beginning, I was enchanted by the delightful clash between a grumpy yet endearing character and the irresistible circumstances of forced proximity. Thea, with her infectious passion for paleontology, brought an extraordinary level of enjoyment to the story, while the sprinkling of dinosaur-themed attire throughout added a delightful touch.

One standout aspect was the spicy narrative, largely due to Kade and his refreshingly unfiltered way with words. Their dynamic verbal exchanges injected an extra dose of energy into the story, and I couldn't help but fall in love with it. The chemistry between Thea and Kade was simply superb as they embarked on a journey of personal growth while simultaneously discovering their deepening affection for one another. This combination created a truly satisfying and engaging dynamic that kept me thoroughly invested.

The pacing of the book was lightning-fast, with well-placed moments of weightiness that added depth to the overall storyline. Yet, the overall tone remained light-hearted, striking a perfect balance. The book took me on an emotional rollercoaster, eliciting laughter, tears, swoons, cringes, moments of tension, and triumphant cheers. It skillfully encompassed a wide range of emotions, from heartwarming instances and steamy scenes to hilarious moments and dramatic encounters. Through skillful storytelling, the book artfully depicted the nuances of supportive friendships, complex family dynamics, painful pasts, and a love that tugged at the heartstrings, leaving a lasting impression.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Valentine PR and Avery Flynn for generously providing me with an e-ARC of this captivating read. Believe me when I say you won't want to let this one slip by unnoticed!

Anger Bang by A. Flynn, published by Entangled Publishing LLC, is a witty and fun read, an hilarious rom/com, rom/com-ish as it can be.
Thea, introduced as uncomfy wearing leather pants woman in dire need of her next therapist session because of reasons. The shy wallflower gets roped in a tv show, her sister's wedding disaster who pushes her too far --- and Kade, the grooms brother whom the sister abhors, solely for revenge.
Highly entertaining, witty and fun, gives the book all the feels, 4,5 stars.

It's safe to say that Thea is obsessed with dinosaurs - she's finally going on a dig but first she has to survive a week of her sister's wedding activities, which is also being live streamed.
Kade is at his brother's week of wedding activities because they only have each other and he wants to be there for him - even if it means dealing with the whole week being live streamed.
But after a huge fight between Thea and her sister, Jackie, Thea decides that she is going angry bang the one groomsman that her sister hates - Kade.

Angry Bang was (obviously) open door and spicy but it was such a fun book. It was funny with lots of witty banter between the two but it was also emotional because the characters felt very relatable with their struggles and trauma.
Thea is constantly reminding herself of the four F's - fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Unfortunately, she's constantly been in the fawn stage and trying to stop herself from constantly responding as such. Kade grew up with an abusive father and an AWOL mother, who just so happens to have been invited to the wedding, by none other than the groom himself.

I loved that the characters worked through these struggles and you saw character development - not only within themselves but also in how they acted towards each other. It was nice to see a spicy book with a good plot, growth, and character development.

Huge thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for this ARC. The opinions are 100% my own.

What a fun, spicy wild ride!! Anger Bang was the type of book you laugh out loud, blush and text your friends about. I couldn’t put it down.

Thea Pope wants nothing to do with the tv spotlight that her sister and mom are accustomed to. She wants only to focus on her dinosaurs and live a quiet life but her sister requests her presence at her reality tv 80s themed wedding. Before she goes her therapist pushes her to confront her issues with her family and how she lets them walk all over her. Fast forward to the show and all the craziness that comes with it and Thea can’t handle dealing with her sister so she decides to get back at her….by anger banging the best man! Lots of laughs, emotional family drama and spicy times await! Grab this book!

This book will have you laughing. Thea and Kade are great together. The banter is terrific and I loved the scenarios they find themselves in. There are plenty of emotions to go with the steamy scenes as well. Overall it was a really good read.

First things first, this book is FUN!

Thea’s sister is having the wedding from hell (literally…they call the town hell). Imagine a reality tv show where they stream a week of wedding festivities and it’s all 80s themed… It’s as chaotic as you can imagine.

Enter Cade, the groom’s brother and Best Man. When Thea meets him, she proposes an anger bang to get back at her diva sister. Will they keep feelings out of it? You’ll have to read it and find out!

Can we talk about the hilarious cover? A dinosaur in a dress…I’m sold.

I consider this book a romance novella. It was fun. Short, sweet, and smut-filled. Anger Bang is about a quirky woman named Thea who hasn’t to attend her sister’s very public and very outrageous wedding for a whole week. Thea is tired of just following and doing whatever her sister and mother want her to do. So she decides to have sex with the groom’s brother: Kade. Did I mention that the bride hates Kade? The book was enjoyable and steamy enough to keep me interested, but I won’t be raving about it. Short reads are not usually my thing and the main character has this amazing 180 personality change that doesn’t feel real. Other than that, it did its job of getting me over a book slump and making me laugh more than a few times.

3.5 Stars Anger Bang by Avery Flynn was not what I was expecting, but in a fun way!

After Thea’s sister makes it known that she didn’t even want Thea in her reality TV wedding, the paleontologist and bridesmaid decides to anger bang the person her sister hates most at the wedding—the best man, Kade St. James, who is also the groom’s brother. Kade accepts Thea’s proposition and they become an escape for each other from the ridiculousness of the 80s-themed wedding for their TV actor siblings. But what started as petty revenge against her sister seems to evolve into genuine feelings for Kade. So what will Thea do once the wedding is over?

This was a rom com, heavy on the comedy. There were multiple times where the antics made me laugh out loud or made me cringe in embarrassment. It was an easy and enjoyable read; perfect if you are looking for a palate cleanser or a lighthearted book to get you out of a reading slump.

A hilarious and fun romance read with some 80's style and flair!

Thea is a such a quirky and relatable character and I love that throughout the book she is working on her stress responses, and we see her try out her fawn, flight, fight, and freeze responses. She is used to fawning and doing whatever her mom and sister ask and as a result Thea ends up as a bridesmaid for her sister's 80's themed reality TV wedding. Thea's therapist challenges her to try responding to situations besides simply fawning and caving to others and that leads to an Anger Bang proposal with the best man, Kade. After a week of anger banging it out, Thea and Kade have to face the reality of their situation and also their family drama that is unfolding at the wedding.

I thought this book was fresh, delightful, and still light despite the topics that are covered (alcoholism, abandonment, etc.). I found myself smiling and laughing at many parts and relating to Thea in several situations. This book has plenty of spicy and cute romance scenes and is a must read for modern romance lovers!

Having your little sister marry her co-star fiancé in a destination wedding - fine
Having to be there as her bridesmaid- fine
Being your mom’s disappointment because you’re a palaeontologist and not a famous actress - fine.
Said wedding being a themed wedding: 80’s - fine!
In sulfur-stench fumarole-heavy Colter’s Hell, Wyoming in August - Fine!
Being a 7 day televised event a la Big Brother?! - FINE!

This was an hilarious ride, full of family drama, over the top 80’s outfits, dinosaur and true crime factoids, mommy issues and super rage induced sexy times!

A full on rom-com that kept me glued to the pages, experiencing every emotion known to man. I laughed, I experienced second hand embarrassment (a LOT), i raged, i cried, i felt so much for every single character and then laughed again at all the ridiculousness of a televised week look 80’s themed destination wedding in Hell!

Thea has my entire heart, it was so easy to relate to her, the shy mom-disappointment geeky palaeontologist amongst tv stars.
And I can’t say I didn’t relate to Kade too. His demeanour of ill-shove-feelings-so-deep-they’ll-never-see-the-light-of-day defence mechanism made me want to hug his grumpy ass.

But like any good rom-com that makes you feel all the feelings (lots of angst), there's an HEA at the end of the day (read week) and all that hair spray and neon colours are worth it!

Anger Bang is such a fun read. I loved this one so much. This gives you the laughs along with the little emotional moments I was looking for. Thea is working on herself and faces challenges when it comes to her sisters wedding and how she is treated by her family. I love how she stands up to her sister and how they create a new bond even in the wedding madness. Thea is a sweetheart with a rebellion side only brought out Kade. Kade is the grumpy writer who does not believe in love and marriage. He is doing the best he can to be by his brothers side for the big wedding week. There is such a chemistry build between Kade and Thea that you will just love. They keep the laughter coming as they try to dodge all the cameras and family moments. You feel for Kade as he faces the past with his mom. I love how Thea and Kade both grow together as a couple and within themselves as this goes on. I could not get enough of this one. You need to read this today and get ready to meet this red hot couple that will set the pages on fire.

Anger Bang was awesome. It was such a fun, fluffy, light and steamy read that also had depth to it that tugged on the heartstrings. I loved going on this journey with Thea and Kade. They had chemistry in spades. They seemed like an unlikely pairing but they fit. They were a perfect complement to each other. I truly enjoyed their story. I found it quite endearing and a bit quirky. I'm very much looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I definitely recommend it.

This is hilarious. I mean, it’s got its more serious moments, and spicy moments, but it definitely is successful in the comedy part of “romcom”. I like both of their siblings. And the whole 80s themed wedding was rather unique and entertaining
