Although slow to start, (I almost put it down) the short, well written chapters picked up the pace and so did the intrigue. The Hollywood film/TV business insight was interesting. I liked it!
Thank You to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Arianne Richmonde for the opportunity to enjoy this ARC.

"The Prenup" by Adrianne Richmond is a riveting contemporary romance novel that effortlessly weaves together love, secrets, and self-discovery. With its engaging storyline and well-developed characters, this book successfully kept me hooked from start to finish.
Richmond's writing style is both captivating and accessible, making it easy to immerse oneself in the world she has created. The plot unfolds at a perfect pace, allowing the reader to gradually unravel the layers of complexity within the characters' lives. I found myself eagerly turning the pages, eager to discover what would happen next.
Speaking of characters, "The Prenup" introduces a cast that feels remarkably real. The protagonists are multifaceted individuals, each with their own flaws and vulnerabilities. I appreciated how Richmond took the time to delve into their backgrounds, motivations, and emotions, making it easy to connect with them.
One of the standout aspects of this book is how it tackles the theme of secrets. Richmond skillfully explores the consequences of keeping secrets, the weight they carry, and the impact they can have on relationships. Through the characters' journeys, the author reminds us of the importance of honesty and communication in any partnership.
I thought several times that I had it figured out, only to find out that I did in fact NOT have it figured out.
Adrianne Richmond's "The Prenup" is a compelling novel that will undoubtedly appeal to fans of contemporary romance. With its well-crafted characters, engaging plot, and exploration of secrets and relationships, this book offers an immersive reading experience that will keep you invested until the very end. I did not see that coming!!🤯 Best psychological thriller I’ve read in a long time! 🔥🔥 My mind is spinning and I still have one question at the end of the book. Wow, so many twists and turns. The Part 1 was insane, Part 2 had me on the edge and then a month before, I was ready to see what really happens.

“And my husband is the perpetrator”. The book starts out with Ava, the wife, being questioned by her husband if she remembers anything at all and he is happy that she doesn’t. Like what the actual fuck!

“Will karma get him in the end?”

Lucas is an attorney that believes he can do whatever he wants even though he’s married.

Part 2 when reading Claudia’s side of the story made everything add up. I still couldn’t predict what was going to happen in the end. Usually I’m good at guessing half way through but my head was spinning until the very last sentence of the book.

So many twists that I did not even see coming! This book is perfect and I recommend you read it!

Thank you to NetGalley for the EARC! As always, my review is my opinion and thoughts. This review will be shared to my Instagram (@alexandriavwilliams_) in the near future.

Just like the book cover, I was locked in from the very beginning! The title was intriguing and the storyline did not disappoint! The Prenup kept me engaged, as I learned the history of Lucas and Ava, their marital struggles, his conniving lies, and how women can play the game too.
I never felt that I had to push through this book. With so much drama and many twists, it was hard to put down. It was a quick, enjoyable read and very well written.
I look forward to more from Arianne Richmonde. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read The Prenup!

Lucas and Ava meet and have a whirlwind romance. She soon discovers she is pregnant. Lucas comes from a wealhy family and his parents insist they marry to avoid a scandal. A pre nup is drawn up leaving Ava with nothing if they should divorce. Ava doesn't care. She is so in love and has always been sellf sufficient.

Turns out Lucas is a huge gaslighter and has no compunction about lying and cheating. Ava constantly forgives him. He goes on to have an affair with the wrong person. That's when the story takes a turn.

This book was a slow burn for me, and I'm not a fan of slow burns. Once the story picked up, it flowed nicely. There is a huge twist at the end that was great. All in all it was a good book. I do recommend. Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC. I appreciate it greatly.

The book description gets you captivated....while the storyline doesn't. The first half is jarring and all over with flashback thoughts and new developments. I am so glad I push through though because once I did, the water gates opened and I was hooked

I’m giving this 3.5/5 stars because I immensely enjoyed the premise of the story and the twists which solidified that this is a fun read for anyone who enjoys a good psychological thriller.

During the first half of the book, I did struggle building any attachments to the main character, Ava. However, the author does a fantastic job at making the reader feel gaslighted by Lucas as well to the point where you feel like you need to go back and re-read parts again. The second half of the story picked up quickly and keeps an exhilarating pace until the end and does not disappoint.

Thanks for Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was a good thriller with lots of twists and turns, is Lucas lying or is Ava delusional? Part 1 was a little drawn out and got tedious being only from Ava's perspective. the rest of the book was fantastic as you get Claudia's and Minnie's points of view and find out how things happened and that Ava is a master manipulator

Love the ending!

Her best book by far!!! Talk about back stabbing, but then wait, is it back stabbing? Good for the women for standing up for themselves and giving a cheater what he deserves. This book talks about Ava and her husband, Lucas. They get married because she is pregnant. Then she has a miscarriage. Suddenly, he is gas lighting her; she gets preg again; and ends up with a mistress. Then Claudia goes missing. Who killed her? Who is framing who? great book!

"Love doesn't conquer all. That's what the prenup is for."

The Prenup by Arianne Richmonde is a delightful contemporary romance novel that captivates the reader from the first page. The story centers around Charlotte Spencer, a successful businesswoman, and William Harrington, a wealthy aristocrat, who enter into a prenuptial agreement before getting married.

The novel is well-written with well-developed characters, and the plot flows smoothly. It is clear that the author did her research on prenuptial agreements, and the story does a great job of exploring the benefits and drawbacks of such agreements. The romance between Charlotte and William is intense, and the characters have great chemistry.

The only downside to this novel is that some of the conflict feels a bit forced and melodramatic at times. However, this is a small issue, and overall, The Prenup is a well-written and enjoyable romance novel that is perfect for readers looking for a fun, light read.

In conclusion, I would recommend The Prenup to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance novels with relatable characters and an engaging storyline. I give this book a 4 out of 5-star rating.

Book Review 📚

The Prenup by Arianne Richmonde 4/5 ⭐

Well. The book pretty much jumps STRAIGHT in with the drama, and the twists! My goodness it's been a rollercoaster of a ride reading this book, I can't even put into words. It was pretty awesome.

So Ava pretty much falls for Lucas and then, very quickly, falls pregnant with his baby. This leads to Ava being forced into a marriage (which includes a prenup, hint the title). Lucas and his father are both lawyers and are trying to protect their money, in case Ava files for divorce (makes sense I suppose). But pretty quickly after the wedding, Ava starts to notice Lucas behaving differently, staying out late, finding items that don't belong to her, ect. Her first thought is hiding a camera within their house to try and catch him out, but it can't be that easy can it?

The writer done a fantastic job on portraying the characters with her writing. I was sucked into the book from the first few pages and was pretty much sold on it within the first few chapters. I love when a book grabs my attention and I can't stop till I'm done. There where a lot of moments where I question what on earth is happening, but the big old twist had me SHOCKED. I never could of predicted it. Wow. Just wow.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookoture for allowing me to read this ARC - this is an HONEST review from my own personal opinion.

Lucas and Ava are not a happy couple. He is deceitful, and she has no clue to his true characters. This author is talented and has written a cannot put down novel. What ensues is frightening and sad. Why did he marry her? Red herrings make answering questions almost impossible. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review.

Ava feels lucky marrying successful Lucas, even though she is made to sign a prenup. A few years later this all changes when there are strange occurrences and Ava suspects that she may not be the only woman. What is Lucas doing and can Ava trust him?

I was initially drawn to the cover and after reading the blurb I wanted to read it straight away. it sounded just like the sort of crazy thriller I enjoy. After reading I can definitely confirm it was a crazy thriller! This was a fun read full of twists and turns. I personally felt like the book didn’t really pick up until about 40% in but once it did it was a fast paced, gripping read to the end! This is my first book by this author but won’t be my last. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for this copy in return for an honest review.

Ava and Lucas are newly weds. Expecting their first baby, living with their two dogs in their Malibu beach house, life should be wonderful. Unfortunately for Ava, Lucas is a master manipulator and gaslighter extraordinaire.
When Ava discovers he’s been having an affair with the gorgeous actress, Claudia Spector, her world falls apart. If she leaves Lucas, her prenup means she gets nothing. How will she support her baby?
Can Ava handle swimming with Hollywood sharks and hatch a plan that means she leaves with something?

What a gripping psychological thriller this was! I hated Lucas and eye rolled my way through all his lies and deceit. There were so many twists and turns with this book, I was thoroughly hooked!
I would definitely read more from this author.

Thank you NetGalley & the publishers for giving me a chance to read this book early.
