Short synopsis: After saying some dumb things on National TV, Pro Bull rider Rhett is in some trouble. To help diffuse the situation his agent Kip hires his daughter Summer to keep an eye on him.

My thoughts: This is my first Bull Rider romance and I loved learning about the sport! I thought the author did such a great job at showing the reader how dangerous it is, while also showing how strong and determined the rider must be.

I loved the instant connection and banter between Summer and Rhett, their chemistry was too notch from the very beginning. I also thought Kip was such a fun side character, with a great sense on humor.

I’m excited to keep going with this series and see what side characters we get for the next story!

Flawless by Elsie Silver was a solid read for me. While it didn't completely captivate me, it was still enjoyable and it had its moments. Even though it was a long book, I flew through it pretty quickly, making it a fast read.

To be honest, I found the characters to be cookie cutter. The plot didn't grip me as much as I hoped it would. The caretaking trope was a highlight, though as it’s one of my favorites. For instance, when Summer massages Rhett because his body is beat up from bull riding, it added a sweet touch to the story, almost like an ASMR experience.

Despite its flaws (no pun intended), I'm looking forward to continuing the series. I've heard great things about the second book, "Heartless," and I'm excited to see how Elsie Silver's writing and her Chestnut Spring universe has evolved.

Forced proximity, “enemies” to lovers?! Count me in! When Summer is assigned to make sure trouble maker Rhett stays in line after losing a big sponsorship, they both start to find it hard to stay professional.

Really enjoyed this one! I have never been into cowboys but apparently I know have a thing for bull riders! I thought that this one was super cute, the spice was tasteful and the pace was great.

I’m sad it took me so long to finally read this one but so excited there are 4 more in the series to read!

A contemporary sports romance featuring a rough cowboy and enemies to lovers/forced proximity love story. I almost put this book down towards the beginning, but towards the halfway-mark I was totally invested and grew to love the characters Summer and Rhett. The thing that sold me was when the discussion of people-pleasing came up. This is a topic that our main characters are on separate ends of the spectrum on- one is very concerned what people around them are thinking, and the other is not at all. This leads to a conflict which is very realistic and relatable, in my opinion.

Cowboy romance! We have pro Bull rider Rhett and Summer his agents daughter whom he should stay away from. The tension in this nook was delicious. Fun and flirty. A great start to a new series

this book was my first dip into the niche cowboy romance genre and it was definitely a fun read! it took me a bit to get into the story at first due to the pacing but once the relationship started to grow and I got to see more of the fleshed out characters, I was invested. I really enjoyed the relationship between summer and rhett and how they supported each other so much. they both had some depth to their characters which I enjoyed and explained a lot of why they acted the way they did. there were some parts of this book that didn't quite sit with me as well, especially in the texts at the beginning of each chapter, but ultimately I thought it was a fun read for those interested in testing out cowboy romances.

Elsie writes some of my favorite small town romances and this is no exception. grumpy cowboy with a little bit of enemies to lovers? Sign me up. Highly recommend for any fans of Devney Perry or Catherine Cowles.

I absolutely fell in love with Flawless, it was the novel that ignited my love for cowboy romances. Elsie's writing is simply beautiful. Rhett, woah, love this man! Love how he worshipped Summer and made her feel safe. Both Rhett and Summer truly completed each other and helped each other grow. Love the depth of this novel and all the family love that both characters express. I cannot get enough of Chestnut Springs and Elsie, truly an auto-buy author.

Where can I find myself a bull rider? BECAUSE HOLY COW, I NEED ME ONE.

This is one of my favorite reads of the year. This lived up to the hype that everyone gives it. I am already so obsessed with this series, and I've only read the first book?? I am thriving in this universe.

Rhett is top-tier. He is up there on my list of book boyfriends, and if he is just the beginning of the series, I cannot imagine how the next MMCs will be. The chemistry between him and Summer was everything. He didn't expect to arrive to a babysitter, much less Summer, his agent's daughter, but now Summer was attached to him, making sure he got into no trouble, and we all know what happens in forced proximity, right?

I really loved this story, the romance between Summer and Rhett was so sweet and I am so excited to continue reading the series!

I LOVE LOVE LOVED this book. This was the first book that I have read from this author and I must say, I am hooked. I typically like small town romance, but sometimes they end up being too cliche. Some may say that all romance novels are too cliche, but I liked the relationship between Rhett and Summer. I liked their banter back and forth. I did find Rhett a little bit too whiney and self centered, but I liked that his priorities changed for the right person. There are some characters that I did NOT like, and I think the author did a good job at making them unlikable. I feel like I am put in a hard position, because I definitely want to read the rest of the books in this series, but I don't really want to read about Winter and I feel like knowing her backstory from Flawless, I don't want her to have a HEA, especially not with Theo.

This book is ABSOLUTELY adorable! I got bored in a couple spots BUT finished reading because it was cute and the BANTER was sooooo on point! This is a great start to a series! I can’t wait to read the next book!

This totally lived up to the hype! The chemistry between the characters was so good. Sometimes, small town romances can feel a little predictable, but I didn’t feel that way about this one at all! I was immediately invested in their relationship and rooting for them to make it work. At times I kinda reminded me of the Nicholas Sparks movie, The Longest Ride, which I also enjoyed.

The writing is awful. Whoever edited this should consider a different line of work. There definitely was a lot of romantic tension, but any attempt at an actual plot or depth beyond surface level was a massive fail.

Thanks to netgalley for letting me try this series out. I dont hink I will be continuing.
