"Tell me what to do, Summer. Tell me, and I’ll do it. Was I unclear before? Because I want to be crystal clear now. I love you. I loved you the moment you walked into that boardroom and smirked at me like you knew something I didn’t. It bothered me, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Wanting to know what you know. I fixated on it, but I think I was just fixated on you.”

Flawless is the book that introduced me to Elsie Silver, and I have now read her entire backlist and still value Flawless above all other books (even though Reckless is pushing VERY Close). Also thank you to this book for teaching me to he wonderful niche knowledge of the cowboy hat rule! Especially when it leads to looooove!

This book is such a cute, but saucy, forced proximity/ enemies-to-lovers romance and Summer
and Rhett have such amazing banter that I read this book SO QUICKLY!

"I want to do distinctly ungentlemanly things to Summer Hamilton. But I also want her to warm her cold feet up on me again. Anytime she wants. The thought of her being cold and uncomfortable infuriates me. I want to take care of her, even though she doesn't need taking care of."

Tropes:
💖Forced Proximity
💖Cowboy Romance - Broody Bull Rider
💖Enemies to Lovers
💖 One Bed

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for an eARC of Flawless, book one of the Chestnut Springs series, written by Elsie Silver. This is my honest, free, review!

When Summer joined her father's agency, she never imagined she would become a glorified babysitter to bad boy bullrider Rhett Eaton, her high school crush. She needs to prove that she wasn't just hired on as daddy's girl and Rhett's grumpy attitude challenges her at every turn.
Rhett's family has been urging him to quit bullriding for years, but he doesn't know who he is without the sport. After one ill-timed comment goes viral the whole rodeo community is against him. No one has ever shown up for him so when Summer is there to support him and bandage his wounds, his attitude starts to change. But is she only there because if the job or is she staying to care for him too?
Whoowee, strap on some chaps and call me a buckle bunny cause Rhett has made me a fan! I absolutely loved this cowboy romance. I've been looking at this series on my TBR for awhile and now I can't believe it took me so long to start it. I can't wait to read the next one!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am so excited to help celebrate this book re-entering the world in this pretty pink package. I liked Flawless my first time though, the second time through just hit different. Maybe knowing the characters and this world better just made me appreciate this story even more.

Characters: Rhett Eaton lassoed my heart and I was not expecting it. I mentioned this was my second time though and initially, he came across as just some stubborn bull rider. But he is so much more. He falls first and falls fast and hard. It is so interesting to know that from the beginning and see the cracks in his grumpy exterior. I already loved Summer and didn’t need more convincing to love her more. Also, this should go without saying this story is riddled with amazing side characters, who get even more amazing stories. I still wish that the other Eaton’s weren’t so against Rhett’s career choices.
Setting: Chestnut Springs is a small fictionalized town located outside Calgary. I love the Canadian setting so much! The Wishing Well Ranch feels like a home away from home. I love the dynamic of Summer with all the Eaton boys navigating life together on the ranch. I did find it fun when Summer and Rhett were away on the rodeo circuit, especially when they were forced to share a hotel room.
Pacing: I read almost three-quarters of this in one sitting. I love the pacing and it is such a perfect length. I guarantee you that when you pick this up you will fall hard for this story and let the wild ride just take you.
Romance: Damn Rhett and Summer are so hot and I love them so much. Their tension was just so great. I already alluded to some really fun scenes, thank god the heat stopped working in Summer’s hotel room. Rhett is definitely more of the alpha-protective type and if that is not for you, you probably won’t want to ride that cowboy.

It's been a while since I've read a small town-esque romance. This book hit the spot and I think will become my new fave for a bit. I've been in a slump and the chemistry these two had was so good. I couldn't put the book down. I hope the rest in the series are as good, cause I've been wanting a new romance companion series to read.

I think the title pretty much says it all 💗 and it’s safe to say I’ve found another small town romance series that has stolen my heart 🥰

Like always, I waited too long to read this 🙃 but I am so glad I picked it up!!

I absolutely loved the dual POV, & the text messages at the beginning of each chapter!! The banter made me LOL & was spot on for the characters 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The relationship between Rhett & Summer kept you on your toes right from the beginning! I loved how they took care of one another & balanced each other out. And like most small town books, the rest of the characters rounded it all out perfectly 😘

What to love:
✨dual POV
✨forced proximity
✨lots of banter 😂
✨small town fun!
✨the best side characters ❤️
✨rodeo 🤠
✨some spice 🔥
✨AND SO MUCH MORE!!!

I cannot recommend this book enough!

Thank you so much to the publisher for sending me a copy in exchange for a review

This romance read is such a great one! I very much enjoyed all the witty banter, sweet moments and cowboy ruggedness. The two main characters are very likeable as are most of the side characters and I can’t wait to read more about the other romances in this series.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to move on from this book. I am so mf enamored with Rhett and Summer right now.

This was literally so perfectly written I dont even know what to do with myself. The ANGST ??? PHENOMENAL. Summer is such a bad b!tch and Rhett is so hot don’t even get me started on that fine ass man 🥵

The spice in this had me sweating yall 🥵
BUT, the cute moments and the unconditional, pure love that’s written in these pages and between Summer and Rhett are the kind of love I feel like we all dream about experiencing. They’re so perfectly perfect for each other. My god I am utterly obsessed 😭

I never knew I needed a cowboy romance in my life until now!

Elsie wrote the male main character of many girls' dreams. He is broody, temperamental, and gorgeous. He also has an enjoyable broody-to-soft-hearted character arc that was nice to read. As a whole, I really enjoyed the Eaton family and their interactions with one another.

Summer's character has some great comedic relief, but at her heart she is lovable and just wants to please her father. She slid right into the Eaton family like she had been there forever.

The slow burn, banter, and spicy scenes were all great. I will definitely be reading the rest of the Chestnut Springs series!

Elsie does an amazing job building her character's back stories, in addition to creating a small town that feels so real. I absolutely love Summer and Rhett's dynamics. You're rooting for them the entire time.

I picked up this book after seeing so many positive reviews and I am so glad I did. Obsessed is an understatement.

Flawless follows Summer and Rhett. Rhett, a professional bull rider who needs to improve his reputation, and Summer, the person tasked with helping him do just that.

This book was the CUTEST small town romance, with incredibly STEAMY moments. Rhett is a wonderfully grumpy male love interest and is officially my first cowboy book boyfriend. I ADORED Summer. Not only was she a tough and lovable female main character, but seeing what she had to overcome and how she still gives so much to everyone around her just made my heart break.

This book had everything; one bed trope, forced proximity, text exchanges (a personal favorite), excellent banter, DUAL POV. I enjoyed every second of Summer and Rhett and flew through it once I started. Oh and the best part? It’s the start of a series. I cannot wait to read more about Rhett’s brothers.

I highly recommend and I can’t wait to check out more of Elsie Silver’s books.

LOVEEEEDDD this book! Did I think I'd be reading cowboy romance in my 30s? nope. Am i obsessed with this read? Absolutely.

Elsie Silver is queen. Rhett and Summer were so, so cute.

Read if you're looking for:
-small town romance
-cowboys (yeehaw!)
-spice is on point!!!
-witty banter, angst, tension
-funniest tight-knit family
-age gap romance
-alternating POV
-"princess" nickname (I DIEEEE)
-forced proximity!!!

If anybody could tame this bad-boy, wild bull-rider, it would be sweet-hearted, Summer!!! 10/10 would recommend reading this series!

Elsie Wrote A New Book, It’s Flawless. You’re going to want to read this one (or all of her books, I’m telling you!!!!)

Rating: 4.5/5
Warnings: difficult family dynamics, phycological abuse (in past relationship), death of a parent (past), grooming, heart attack of a parent (on page), congenital heart defect (past)
Steam: 4/5
Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion. (I will note I also previously read and reviewed this book on the author's indie arc team.)

Let’s talk about the vibes: opposites attract he falls first (in a big way) forced proximity…your babysitter is also your roommate only one bed so we can stay warm banter and spice for days

Did I ever think about a bull rider romance? Not really, except for that one Nicholas Sparks movie. Was it everything I could hope for and more? So much YES!

This quote, especially when you read it in context, is everything! “But I want to make one thing clear. I am not possessive. I am protective. And I’ll never stop protecting you.” Fully obsessed with this whole series!

Definitely fits the vibe for a small-town, spicy, contemporary romance!

Rhett Eaton is a cowboy who hates milk. Probably not the best thing to talk about when your biggest sponsor happens to be… well, milk. In order to keep Rhett from losing more rodeo sponsors or getting into any more trouble, his manager needs to keep a close eye on him. Enter city-girl, Summer Hamilton, the manager’s daughter. Summer isn’t about to let her lifelong crush on the grumpy cowboy get in the way of her doing her job though. At least that’s what she keeps trying to tell herself.

Flawless has all the tropes you want in a small town romance: childhood crush, forced proximity, one bed, forbidden love, big city girl in a small town. Add in a lot of cowboy and you are in for a good time!

I enjoyed this book from the first few pages. Rhett is a cinnamon roll hiding behind a grumpy asshole. I think I just missed a bit of humour for this book to really be 5⭐ but the spice was *chefs kiss*.

⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

thank you to Netgalley and Bloom for the e-ARC ♡

3.5 stars
too many milk metaphors….
yeehaw!!!

this series has become a new favorite of mine!! elsie silver crafts heartwarming and real characters in every book, and this is no exception.
i will say this is my personal least favorite in the series, but the bar is HIGH and i still really had a great time with his one! i just wish this couple had a bit more tension. the “forbidden” aspect of their romance ended up feeling lukewarm, but this was a fun way to start the series nonetheless!

consider me converted to (canadian) cowboy romance!!! 🐎🫶

I LOVE the Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver so a big thank you to Elsie, Netgalley, and the publisher, Bloom Books for the ARC!!!

I’ve loved Elsie’s writing with her Gold Rush Ranch series and Flawless kicks off her newest series. Flawless follows famous bull rider Rhett Eaton as he gains a new “babysitter” for his tour, his agent’s daughter Summer (who has been crushing on Rhett for a long, long time). Summer is such an amazing character- she doesn’t put up with any of Rhett’s foolishness and the cowboy hat rule scene is ICONIC. I just really love how their relationship develops and how they both really come into their own with each other.

This book is one of my favorite cowboy romances and I trust Elsie Silver with whatever she decides to write. She’s had banger after banger and this series is just on another level.

Thank you to @netgalley for my copy of this eARC.

I have fallen in love with Elsie Silver. I honestly wasn’t even aware that a cowboy rom-com was something I’d be into, until this book. The chemistry between Rhett and Summer is so well written. It’s a fun book with lots of sparks and banter! I read this one in one sitting and moved in to the rest of the series immediately!

Elsie can not write a bad book. Period. And Chestnut Springs's first novel sets off the series with a bang!
Rhett and Summer are super hot together - Rhett is a multimillion-dollar rodeo star and despite the fact he can retire, he won't as if nothing is keeping his boots nailed to the floor. Until Summer, a much younger woman, who is assigned to work with him to clean up his reputation. Summer is a lot more than she lets on and has a difficult past with both health issues and sexual trauma which makes her keep men at arm's length until she is assigned to work with the one man she has had a huge crush on for years. Being together makes chemistry agnite and Rhett cannot keep this girl off his mind or from his heart. Summer wants to be happy but she is afraid to love again. It looks like they have found their beginning in each other.
It's just such a wonderful romance and so binge worthy!
Thank you to the author for this arc!
