Bull rider Rhett Easton and assistant Summer Hamilton are the main characters in Flawless by Elsie Silver, a small town romance.
I am now addicted to reading Elsie, like why didn't anyone get me to read her sooner?
The way Rhett used to be such a reclusive person, but he started to open up to Summer and couldn't stop thinking about her. Moreover, he was so easily possessive and jealous. Those were some hot moments.
Rhett and Summer were such a hot couple in general.
In all, I had an amazing time reading this hot asf book, and you can best believe the rest of the series will be on my tbr.

Save a horse...ride Rhett Eaton.
I never thought I'd go head over heels for a cowboy romance. Im a big billionaire/mafia girl and small-town cowboy roommates aren't something I've explored...but now I definitely will be. I loved Chestnut Springs, I loved Rhett and Summer romance, and I loved all the side characters that gave the book such color, it was just all so much fun to read. But it was more than just a smutty romance, it explored a lot of deeper themes that added a realness to the book and the characters. I can't wait to read more from the series!
also I legitimately almost peed my pants when I looked up what chaps were 😂
Thank you NetGalley and the Publisher for an advance copy of Flawless by Elsie Silver in exchange of an honest review.
"I was pleasantly surprised by 'Flawless' by Elsie Silver. This small-town romance with a cowboy twist had me hooked from the start. The fast-paced and addictive writing, coupled with the delightful banter between the characters, made for an entertaining read. Rhett and Summer's love story was filled with heart, humor, and personal growth. Summer's transformation into a confident individual and Rhett's lovable yet rugged personality made them a dynamic couple. Although not a fan of third-act breakups, it felt authentic to the story. I'm eagerly anticipating diving into the rest of the series and exploring what 'Heartless', 'Powerless', and 'Reckless' have in store." 100% Recommended!
I think my wallet's in trouble because I definitely need to get my hands on the next books in this series. I was really excited to pick this up because I've heard nothing but good things from the book community and I'm dying to have a new fave Canadian author. I didn't think I could get over this being a cowboy book but Elsie Silver really convinced me. Maybe I read a lot of similar romance books but this book just felt like a breath of fresh air. The characters, the chemistry between the romantic leads, the family dynamics, and the setting were all very complex and are making me desperate for more Elsie Silver books.
Elsie Silver is a magician. There must be magic in this book. It was addictive. Bill riding cowboy, forced proximity and a book full of awesome side characters. What more could you ask for. 10/5⭐️
This book was amazing.
As soon as I finished this book I wanted to re-read it. It is a book that will stick with me for a while and one that has me wanting to read everything this author has written.
Small town romance can be very hit or miss for me, so this book was a pleasant surprise. This is what I want in a small town romance. This is the tension I want. Rhett was everything and I just want him to be real.
The hype is real. I am kicking myself for not starting this series sooner.
Smut + plot = good time
It also had just enough build-up that i didn't get bored 👍 I love Elsie Silver , always have and always will!
10/10 do recommend
This is my first book with a cowboy romance and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. As someone who enjoys country music, I had a whole playlist while reading this book and it was an amazing experience. This book had a fun, flirty romance, which was a refreshing experience after reading a mafia romance. The banter was very playful but heartfelt, so lots of feelings were stirred up. As a hopeless romantic, I fell in love with this book. The only downside is some of the conflict was dragged out unnecessarily so, but other than that, highly recommend it.
When Rhett Eaton gets in trouble by dissing one of his sponsors, his sports agent sends his daughter to deal with it. Of course, he also tells Rhett to keep his hands to himself. However, Summer is a woman on a mission and Rhett finds himself both drawn to her and strangely protective.
Small town, cowboy romance? Check

I really loved watching these two overcome their obstacles and make the changes they needed to in order to be together,. I also enjoyed the descriptions of the sights and sounds of the rodeo and the loveliness of the Canadian Rockies. I will be reading the rest of this series right away.
I can definitely see why everyone is obsessed with this book! I did enjoy it, it was a really quick and light hearted cowboy/small town romance but I didn't LOVE it like everyone else did.
I think the main reason was I just didn't connect with the characters - they seemed a bit immature for being in their 30s. BUT the writing was great, and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to jump on that cowboy train!
This book was horrendous! A grown man acting like a pubescent teenager, throwing hissy fits, and assaulting people is not my idea of a “Sexy Cowboy” Forgive me if I am the only one with this train of thought, but both Rhett and Summer characters were just not it. Rhett was disgusting. I lost track of how many times he “effed his hand” and WHY please tell me WHYYYY he had the audacity to think about “her cherry red lips” around his cockadoodledoo? He didn’t even know the girl! Creeper much? I think so! Summer’s got some major daddy issues FOR SURE!! DADDY: “Daughter you may not sleep with rich cowboy” DAUGHTER: “Daddy told me no so I HAVE to go do it!” Come ON! Seriously? I had to force myself to push through this! I wanted to DNF it three times but kept trying to grin and bear it. Do not recommend.
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley and this review is unbiased, honest, and completely my own.
Summer Hamilton is a lawyer and sports agent in her father's company. When Rhett Eaton, bull-riding legend puts his foot in his mouth and offends his biggest sponsor in an interview, Summer is tasked with babysitting him, and keeping him in line until the end of the season, where he is set to win his 3rd World championship.
Honestly tattoo this whole book on my body. Give me all the cowboy dirty talk, the banter, the worshipping, just everything. Elsie Silver has become my Canadian queen, and I cannot wait to keep reading this series.
Small town romance and cowboys- say no more!! I absolutely loved this story from the first few chapters I was hooked on this slow burn love story. Rhett’s character is complex but as you get more into the story you understand and start to root for him more. He’s grumpy, moody, sexy. Summer is his love in babysitter- she’s a city girl but loves the country- she’s sweet, heart of gold and fierce. She’s just as complex of character dealing with past trauma. The forced close proximity you can feel the tension between the two main characters. The chemistry was undeniable!! I loved their witty banter. The dual point of view really gave you a great perspective on each of the characters. Loved it and I can see so many people really enjoying this small town romance. Many thanks to SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books and NetGalley for the digital review copy of this novel. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I loved this. It absolutely met the hype and I’m so happy that it gets a re-release (I love the new covers too!). I can’t wait to continue this series. The writing and pacing is wonderful and this has cowboy romance elements without getting too gritty or too wrapped up in small town drama, etc. it’s all so balanced.
Specifically with this story I loved how mature these two characters are. Does not mean there isn’t drama or angst, but more like these guys aren’t unlikeable. Yes they are a little bit opposites attract but their fun and banter always edges on the side of harmless and they stay respectful of each other.
The love story gets even better as it goes along and it’s swoony, sometimes very spicy (takes a bit % to get there though there is definitely plot). I loved all these characters and this is a wonderful start to the series! I’m looking forward to some tropes I love in the upcoming releases. Thank you to NetGalley and Bloom books for this ARC.
Gosh I’ve seen this around bookstagram for what feels like a really long time and am so glad I FINALLY got to check out Flawless and to read something by Elsie Silver. What a great book! So proud it’s by a Canadian author and took place in none other than Alberta! 🥰🇨🇦
Ok Summer was so endearing and honestly her past and backstory was one of the most refreshing I’ve read in a long time! Her past relationship drama, and her unique parent stories were just really interesting and I appreciated that none of it felt “same old, same old,” to me.
And Rhett. What a yummy name for a yummy cowboy. I myself have been to my fair share of rodeos and can’t say bull riding honestly ever gripped me or is something I’ve thought about before, but I’m actually itching to go again now and I think would have a fresh take on it all. And I laughed out loud at the term “buckle bunny.”
I don’t know what else to say other than I loved their story and Flawless was a thoroughly enjoyable and easy read!
4.5 stars rounded up! Thank you Sourcebook Casablanca, NetGalley and Elsie Silver for the arc copy. All thoughts and opinions are mine! 💜🤠🐂
okay listen, I loved it but I didn’t LOVE it, you know! I think it was so overhyped to me that I was expecting a cross between yellowstone and the eden’s series - which it had hints of, but I was definitely expecting a bit suspense 😅 that’s my own bad folks
summer was the perfect FMC for this story!! a city gal with a cowgirl heart, loving the drama and suspense of rodeos and ranch life 🥹 she’s basically me every time I watch yellowstone and google how expensive it is to live on a ranch
rhett was the sexy rodeo bad cowboy with a reputation, and boy, did he live up to the hype!! however, I do think he has a lot to work on emotionally and not a lot of admission and work was done to earn summer’s trust 😶 I think there was a lot of miscommunication due to ✨ trauma ✨ and inability to place 100% responsibility on oneself, which frankly made me super angry
rhett’s actions towards the end of the book were unforgivable and a bit possessive, and I wish summer had stuck to her guns with holding him accountable 🥴 that being said, they really were super cute together
I cannot wait to read more about this family because I just want to insert myself in it thank you very much!!!
thank you to netgalley and bloom books for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

After hearing so many great things about this book, I finally got a chance to read it and it did not disappoint. I love Rhett and Summer with all my heart. I loved every single scene leading up to them discovering that they loved each other. Rhett's dad and brothers added another layer to this book that makes me love it so much. I have nothing but great things to say about this book and i cannot wait to finish the rest of this series!
I guess I'm in my cowboy romance era after DEVOURING Flawless.
Rhett Eaton is a bull rider who got in a bit of trouble with his sponsors. While his agent is trying to smooth things over, Rhett gets a... babysitter for the last few months of his tour. This babysitter happens to be Summer Hamilton, his agent's daughter. Summer is working at her dad's firm and is willing to do whatever it takes to prove herself. She's a bit of a people pleaser and definitely a relatable character.
The banter in this book was SO good and their chemistry was insane. I wouldn't call them true enemies but it had the same tension as any good enemies-to-lovers book has and I think that's what kept me so enthralled the whole time.
i'm thinking i might be in my cowboy era? i loved this book! this was a slow burn romance that i couldn't put down. rhett and summer were so cute, and i am a sucker for a dual pov romance!
Bull rider meets his match when he’s grounded and gets stuck with a babysitter that will ensure there are no more PR issues. Summer is assigned to Rhett to ensure he keeps his image clean and to fix his image. Chemistry between The two sizzle and explode. I would rate this a 5 out of 5 from the get go. I loved this enemies to lovers! I will never think the same a can of whipped cream again. This was steamy hot and would give it 5 chili peppers for spice. I haven’t read a cowboy romance before and thought this was fun and light hearted, I will definitely go on to read the rest of the series.
