I’m in my cowboy era.

This was such a fun book! Summer is in charge of Rhett. A famous bull rider who she’s needs to fix his image before the Vegas Championships.

This book had me entertained the whole book. There was so many laugh out aloud moments. The chemistry between the two main characters is so good! I can see why these books are so popular.

The side characters also don’t fade into the background. They help make this book what is it. Their so layered that you want to know about each of them.

I do wish that Summer and Winters relationship was fixed a little bit. I hoped they build a better relationship in later books.

Flawless by Elsie Silver is a heartwarming and lighthearted romance that delivers exactly what it promises – a charming small-town love story with well-drawn characters. The novel follows Rhett, a once-prominent bull rider in need of an image overhaul, and Summer, his spirited and independent supervisor tasked with keeping him out of trouble.

Both characters are endearing and relatable, with Rhett's determination and Summer's journey from past trauma to healing forming the emotional core of the story. While the chemistry between them is palpable, there are occasional moments of over-the-top inner monologues that may not appeal to all readers. However, the book's central theme of finding happiness, regardless of societal expectations, adds depth and resonance to the narrative. Overall, Flawless is a delightful and quick read that will leave you with a smile and looking forward to more from Elsie Silver.

Flawless was my first cowboy / rodeo romance and I really enjoyed it! Rhett Eaton is assigned a babysitter because of recent events that have blown up his reputation. Summer Hamilton is said babysitter, as assigned by her father who is Rhett’s agent. They are attracted to each other, but can they resist?!
I really adored this story. There was a lot of world building and side characters that I also enjoyed reading about, along with the growth of both Summer and Rhett. I think there could have been a bit more development between Rhett and Summer, but overall I did delight in reading about them and can’t wait to read more about the rest of the characters.
Thank you to Netgalley and Bloom Books for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest opinion.

The beginning of the cowboy era - I hope it never ends for me + Elsie + every other person in their cowboy era.

Rhett and Summer are two of my very favorite characters. He's gruff and angry and hates having a shadow. She's soft but fierce and loyal beyond words. When the cards Summer was dealt end up being the crappiest of hands, she still takes life in stride and doesn't let anyone know the true pain, heartbreak, and struggle she's been through, whether that's sickness, family drama, or terrible ex-boyfriends. Rhett's followed his dreams since he was teenager, yet this sticky thorn in his side, a.k.a. the tiny but mighty Summer, kicks his butt in ways we can't even imagine. And yet, we just know that if this couple wasn't fictional, Summer is exactly the person to knock Rhett off his ass. We know it's over for him the minute he gives in to his feelings for her. And we know it'll stick for life.

Elsie writes these characters that are beautifully flawed, broken for UNDERSTANDABLE and completely believable reasons, and the drama, the tension, the realness endears you to these characters for life. I can't help but come back to this family over and over again.

The audio of this book (uhm, the whole series) is also amazing. Whatever your preferred method of reading, you will not be disappointed.

Initially, I gave this book four stars, but these characters have stuck with me for a long time. They live rent free in my head. That's a sign of a 5 star book for me. It's got that 5 Star Feeling* and so this book gets 5 stars from me!

Congrats to Elsie for having this one traditionally published! I'm so excited to see where this adventure takes you!

This story hooked me! Rhett, the bull-riding golden boy, gets saddled with Summer, his agent's daughter, as his babysitter. What starts as a bumpy ride turns into an electrifying, enemies-to-lovers romance. Rhett may seem cocky, but he's got depth, and Summer, dealing with her past, learns to find her voice and happiness. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the banter had me in stitches. Elsie Silver's writing is addictive, blending humor, steam, and emotion perfectly. The small-town setting and supporting characters, like Rhett's family and Summer's best friend, add layers to the story. This isn't your typical cowboy romance; it's an all-consuming, intoxicating read. I can't wait for more from this series!

Elsie Silver is a must read author for me and her books never disappoint.

This book was a small town, bull rider romance with a feisty FMC. It follows Rhett Eaton, a two time bull riding champion and the youngest of the Eaton brothers. When Rhett gets himself in the trouble with the media, his agent assigns his daughter and newest hire to baby sit Rhett until the world championship. Rhett and Summer butt heads and drive each other wild, but that tension slowly turns smoldering.

I loved Rhett and Summer. I loved their banter and how they didn't give in. I loved the way they fell in love and just how perfectly they fit together. This book is full of steamy tension and the spicy scenes are the perfection you have come to expect from Elsie.

This book is a must read for me and I HIGHLY recommend.

Rhett is a bull rider and Summer is the daughter of Rhett agent and after an altercation Summer has to babysit Rhett so he won't get in trouble and lose sponsors. Rhett isn't happy with the arrangement and Summer is trying to proof to others that it's the nepotism that got her the job that she has right now and Rhett is trying to proof he can still bull ride and he not getting to old for it.
After spending time together and knowing each other they have an understanding and they find themselves attracted to each other.
Then we also read about Summer inappropriate relationship with her doctor and the way he manipulated her into the relationship and he still try to manipulated her.
This also set for the next book series.

I LOVED this book. I ate it up in one day. The relationship was so real and so cute. My first cowboy romance and now I need to finish the rest of the series

Even better as a reread, if I keep starting over then the series will never truly end. Summer and Rhett are just magical. Bull riding had zero appeal to me...until this book. Maybe it's just Rhett.

Perfect for those entering their Cowboy Era and those of...well into ours.

Flawless by Elsie Silver

This book surprised me; it was cute, with great banter, the perfect spice and a plot twist I truly didn’t see coming. I’m a small town Alberta girl who never thought twice about cowboys; now I’m rethinking things. I loved both the main characters as they stayed true to their roots, while still growing and figuring themselves out. I enjoyed the other personalities in the book and can’t wait to read more of their stories in the series. This was my first Elsie Silver book, and she did not disappoint. Thank you NetGalley and Bloom Books for a chance to read this with the beautiful new cover art.

This book was way beyond my wildest dreams. Admittedly, cowboy romances aren't my favorite but this one truly changed the way I look at them. A strong heroine and a cocky bull rider hero with a loving family... yes, please. I can't believe how many times this book made me smile throughout. I truly enjoyed this book from start to finish. As the title of the book says, this book is Flawless.

summer + rhett= swoon
Elsie Silver is a phenomenal author and she does not disappoint with the first book in the Chestnut Springs series.
Silver gives us a smart-ass, smooth talking, cowboy…and I love everything about him. Rhett is the man of my dreams (or at least one of them). I loved getting to know him and seeing his softer side—but only when it came to Summer, of course.
Summer is fantastic as well despite the struggles that she had not just growing up but in her adult life as well. This book had everything I needed: swoon worthy MCs, chemistry, and banter that turned in some HOT bedroom talk.
I’m obsessed and am officially in search of my own Eaton brother!

Bull Rider MMC?! My country heart can't handle it!

Anytime a cowboy is around, it just works for me okay?

I grew up around the country/rodeo lifestyle and I appreciate everything Elsie did to make this first novel in a series wonderful and spicy!

Flawless is the start of the Chestnut Springs series and it’s such a good read!! We loved a forced proximity trope! The spice!!! 😩🥵 Rhett you filthy talking bull rider 😛 Elsie Silver what did you put into this book (let alone the series as a whole?!) I will reread this book over and over again! Kicking my feet and twirling my hair while I read this small town cowboy romance

<i>"If this were my last moment alive, how would I want it to be?"</i>

Summer has her first big assignment working for her dad: babysit rodeo's bad boy, Rhett Eaton, who just made an enemy out of his fan base by talking smack about milk.

Yup. It wasn't the womanizing or attitude that got him. The man who won two gold buckets and the hearts of rodeo fans everywhere was being taken down by milk.

It doesn't matter that teenage Summer was mildly obsessed with Rhett and his tight as sin Wranglers. This job is her chance to prove she has what it takes to succeed in the business.

But Rhett isn't what he seems. He has a wild, boisterous, loving family who doesn't support his career. He's tired of living down to everyone's expectations, and he's lost as to what to do with a woman who FINALLY sees him for him...but is also his boss' daughter and off limits.

<i>"I want to take care of her, even though she doesn't need taking care of."</i>

Flawless by Elsie Silver is just that - flawless. The romance, character growth, dialogue, inner turmoil, tension, spice - it was all perfection.

And that twist with her doctor - woah!! I understand why Summer was so upset by Rhett's reaction to it, but I'm not gonna lie - I cheered when it happened.

<i>"I am not possessive. I am protective. And I'll never stop protecting you."</i>

There are so many amazing scenes in this book I want to discuss, but you have to experience them for yourself to truly feel their impact. This is my first rodeo romance (I can't believe that's a thing I love now but it is!!), and it won't be my last.

I highly recommend this book to readers who love men who fall first, men who would burn the world for their love, and women who can be strong AND vulnerable!

Thank you, Elsie Silver and NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book pulled me in right away with the setting. Calgary, Alberta? Right in my backyard? Sold.

Rhett is a professional bull rider and Summer has been assigned to him to make sure that he watches his public image.

There is of course an immediate attraction, but watching the slow burn unfold was so good. Forced proximity? Banter? Hilarious family? I really enjoyed it.

Where things took a bit of a turn for me was at the hospital. If you’ve read it, you know. And it wasn’t the standing up for his girl thing, it was the nasty things he said to her. Again, no spoilers but if you read it… yeah. He didn’t seem so great to me after that.

I still really enjoyed it and ate it up. I’ll definitely be checking out the second book!

Hot damn!! This book was so good. I felt myself swooning every time Rhett would talk about Summer because the man is OBSESSED.

Summer Hamilton works with her father who manages professional athletes. One of whom is bull riding superstar Rhett Eaton. After publicly proclaiming his dislike for milk and punching a reporter in the face, Summer is tasked with the role of Rhett’s “babysitter” to keep him in line so that he doesn’t put his reputation in any further jeopardy. To no one’s surprise, neither of them are very happy with the arrangement.
The tension between the two is palpable and the line between dislike and attraction quickly begins to blur as they spend more time together out on his families ranch.
Challenges arise between the two as Summer grapples with her responsibilities at her fathers company and Rhett remains determined to continue competing in his dangerous sport.

I loved how Rhett and Summer’s relationship shifted over time and became a source of comfort and reassurance in places that no one else could reach for both characters. They shared parts of themselves with each other that neither of them ever felt ready to unpack before they met. Summer smooths out Rhett’s hard edges and Rhett gives Summer the confidence she needs to stick up for herself. They empower each others strengths and are strong where the other is weak. They are what I believe to be a perfect match.

The spice was also fantastic…
