I absolutely loved this book. It was good. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you so much for the arc. I really appreciate it.
t’s been so long since I’ve read a cowboy romance I forgot how much I love a alpha man with such protective…manners. Opening doors, making sure a lady walks ahead… and a bull rider at that. Yes sir! Sign. Me. Up. Take my money!
Can not wait to read the rest of this series!
I received this book from the publisher & NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.
Great book! I’m only halfway through because my ARC request got accepted like a day or so before it came out, but this is a sexy small town romance I think most folks can enjoy.
Despite loving the other books in the series, I had never read this one! I enjoyed Summer and Rhett’s story in honor of the new cover (and the countdown to Beau’s story!!)
I went into this book a little skeptical because I had never read a book with bull riding and didn't think it would be my cup of tea. Man was I wrong. I loved this! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
"Flawless" is like a rollercoaster ride through the Wild West of romance, complete with a cowboy who gives zero hoots and a lawyer who's been living her life on autopilot. Rhett Eaton, our resident bull-riding, fist-fighting, and heart-throbbing hero, is the kind of guy who doesn't give a damn about what anyone thinks. He's reckless, admirable, and just oozes that irresistible 'bad boy' charm. On the other hand, we've got Summer, fresh out of law school and fresh out of figuring out what she actually wants in life. She's the ultimate people-pleaser, living by everyone else's rules.
So, what do we do in this mess of opposites? Well, we throw them together, of course! Summer ends up babysitting Rhett on his family ranch in Chestnut Springs (cue all the classic romance tropes – opposites attract, enemies to lovers, and the infamous 'only one bed' scenario). And trust me, sparks fly. We're talking secret rendezvous under the stars, breakfasts with the Eaton boys, and some spicy, spicy conflict. And oh, did I mention chaps, whipped cream, and body shots? Yeah, it's that kind of party.
Flawless it's a heartwarming tale of two people who balance each other out and push each other to grow. They're like puzzle pieces that fit just right. Rhett smooths Summer's edges, and Summer gives Rhett a little structure. Together, they learn to chase their own dreams instead of living for others.
But let's not forget about Kip Hamilton, Summer's dad and Rhett's agent. This guy deserves the Dad of the Year award. He's not just a matchmaker extraordinaire; he's a character with depth that'll surprise you. It's a romance that's as spicy as a jalapeño and as sweet as apple pie.
In a nutshell, "Flawless" is the kind of book you binge-read without a single yawn. It's got depth, humor, action (both on and off the bull), and, of course, love. So, if you're looking for a story that'll make your heart race and leave you with a grin, look no further.
Flawless by Elsie Silver is a sensational romance that has everyone obsessed with cowboy romances and for a good reason! This is the first book in the Chestnut Springs series and it follows Rhett and Summer. Rhett is a famous bull rider who may lose his contract if he does not reign in his behavior. Summer is tasked to be his on-tour "babysitter" and keep him in line. They are both very reluctant to this arrangement but it turns into something so much more! There is a lot of great banter in this book because of how headstrong and stubborn both of them are. There is a lot of forced proximity which adds to the romance. Overall, this is a really fun romance with all the cowboy vibes and I loved it!
Thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for the ARC in exchange for a review!
This was so, so good. The start was a bit slow but the end was totally worth it. I can't wait to read Cade's book!
“This thing between us? For me? It’s everything. It’s it. You’re it. I’ve spent years thinking I didn’t have someone who really supported me. But that was only because I hadn’t met you yet. You were out there, wanting me. And all it took was one meeting with you for me to want you too. A few weeks for me to know that I’d do anything to support you too.”
“You were out there this whole time, and now I know you exist, and I can never go back. Wouldn’t want to if I could.”
Rhett Eaton really fucked up this time. After lashing out and being caught on camera, he blows one of his biggest sponsorships. Before he makes matters worse, his manager has assigned him a babysitter.
Ready to prove her place in her dads company, Summer Hamilton takes on the challenge. She's now living on the Eaton ranch, watching over a crabby, rude, irritatingly handsome, bull rider. Summer can see past all of Rhett's nonsense BS and bad attitude, and can handle keeping him in line. She just isn't sure she can handle keeping things strictly professional...

I gave in... I read the yeehaw book that everyone was posting about it.. and now... YEEEEHAAWWW
Rhett Eaton is a straight up ass to Summer at first, very much bad boy, nobody tells me what to do vibes. BUT SUMMER DOESN'T PUT UP WITH IT. I looooved her. If anyone was going to bite back, it was her. The banter is so good, and once that hard shell starts to crack, their chemistry is *chefs kiss*.
"This is going to be a long two months.
You could always throw yourself down that well I saw on my way back to the house and put yourself right out of this misery."
I love all the layers to this book. Rhett finally having someone there to support him, especially when his family wont with his bull riding. He finally has someone in his corner. And the support and love he has for her?! So soft. Summer's back story and relationship history is something that still weighs on her, and something that hasn't quite disappeared.
There's so much that I love about this book. I fell in love with Rhett and Summer's grumpy/hot dynamic. I am head over heals in love with the entire Eaton crew. Harvey?! I love him sm. The plot twist we get at the end will make your jaw drop and want to just squish these characters. Elsie Silver is now on my instant read list.

Flawless is the first book introducing us to Chestnut Springs. Rhett is a professional bullrider on his last legs after pissing off a major sponsor, by excliming he hates milk, which is his sponsor. He's about to be dropped but his manager smooths it over and he's on thin ice. He gets assigned a "babysitter" to watch in the form of Summer. She's there to make sure Rhett doesn't make a further asshole of himself and lose more sponsors.
Summer has a had a crush on Rhett since she was a teenager and internally freaking out the whole time while lusting after him and trying to be professional and compartmentalize. She quickly figures out that's a losing battle and Rhett does the same thing. She moves in with Rhett at the family home and spends time with him and his family slowly getting pulled in by them more and more. Harvey is the sweetest and has some perfect comedic timing with sly comments and digs at the boys. When they're not there, Summer is putting Rhett through intense workouts to get him into championship shape to win 1 last title before retiring. On tour for said Rodeo Championship, Rhett plays knight in shining armor and we get everone's favorite trope that brings them together. Only 1 bed in the hotel room. But that's not the only time it happens. The confrontation at the hospital with Summer's ex firmly put him in knight territory. While the steamy scenes give him a filthy knight title instead.
I fell in love with the characters and the world of Chestnut Springs and eagerly devour each and every book in the series!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Flawless, I'm not usually into the cowboy thing, but ding dang Elsie may have me hooked. Rhett was so dreamy and Summer was an amazing FMC, I adored them together so much. Add in the ol' adult babysitting trope and this book was one heck of a ride.
The audio was absolutely fantastic. Sebastian York is always a favorite and Emma Wilder was amazing. I recognized her voice as one I've loved before, so I'll be keeping an eye out for more of her work.
Summer's background about broke my heart... But I loved the relationship she had with her dad. They were so cute together and I loved his attitude towards Rhett. When he ribbed her about the posters I about unalivedddd. They were adorable. I loved how Rhett pushed her to be less selfless and think about her own self care and self worth, she desperately needed to take care of herself and I was happy he saw that. Their third act conflict had me so mad and sad, but I was happy they worked it out the way they did.
I'm really excited to continue this series and see where Elsie takes us. I can't wait to start Heartless, I love a good nanny and age gap trope.
5 ENTHUSIASTIC STARS!!!!
The people who recommended Elsie Silver's "Flawless" DID NOT steer me wrong! This book is FABULOUS! What's not to love? Forced proximity? Yes. Small town? Yes. Intensity? Yes. Grumpy sunshine? Celebrity bull rider? Yes! Yes! YES! I think I am at the beginning of my cowboy romance era because Rhett??? OMG. Drool! The part about wearing a cowboy hat towards the middle-end of the book? I might have shed a literal tear. I absolutely LOVED the chemistry between Summer and Rhett, talk about EXPLOSIVE! It's not one of those surface-level relationships; it's deep and complex and moving and sooooooooooo swoon-worthy. I loved the banter in this book, not just between the main protagonists, but from all of the side characters, too. Talk about a well-crafted world! Elsie Silver has done a tremendous thing here, making audiences fall in love with ALL of her characters since book one! I cannot wait to dive back into the town of Chestnut Springs because I am smitten with the town and the setting. Canadian cowboys at that! AHHHH! Yes! And the steam, OH GOD, THE STEAM!!!!!! I *rarely* blush while reading romance novels, but this book had my mouth hanging agape on more than one occasion. I have a feeling this series is going to stick with me for a long, long time. I cannot wait to read the next book.
Thank you to NetGalley, SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books, and Elsie Silver for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.
This book is EVERYTHING! It is an excellent start to an amazing series. The chemistry, the absolute beauty of the relationship. Bull riding. Enemies to lovers. And ALL 👏 THE 👏 FEELS 👏! You will NOT be disappointed picking this book up. There are swears and open door content. So if that turns you off, just be aware. But Elsie Silvers did a phenomenal job on this book!!
Thank you @bloombooks and @netgalley for the ARC! I throughly enjoyed Summer and Rhett’s story!
Rhett is a 2 time champion bull rider in a bit of trouble with the press after disclaiming his distain for milk-a product he is sponsored by! Summer, a new agent at her father’s firm, is assigned to essentially babysit Rhett and keep him out of trouble.
The banter between these two is electric. The story line is wonderful. I am a big Yellowstone fan so I loved reading about cowboys and ranchers and bull riders! I can’t wait to continue and am anticipating the release of the 5th book in the series!
This forced proximity cowboy romance is utter perfection. The angst is perfect and the romance is so hot. Loved every page so much.
LOVE LOVE LOVE FLAWLESS AND ELSIE SILVER! Before this book I was always let down with cowboy romances, but I LOVED this one. I will read anything Elsie Silver writes.
Silver's latest was a helluva good ride. Pun intended. Haha
Bull riding sexiness that made me long for my own cowboy.
Super into this series so excited for the next installment.
Thank you to SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books and NetGalley for providing an eARC for a honest review.
“I'll keep coming back, no matter what. You're my priority. I'll keep trying because I'm not quitting on you. Ever.” 🥛🐂☀️🤠
i just finished this book in 7 and a half hours that may not be a lot to some people but i have never finished a book in a single day what tf is elsie silver putting in this book!?
I had really high expectations going into this book only because like everyone’s been raving about the series for so long but like the book was good still I just I guess I was expecting something more but like still a fabulous read I will say though I had a really hard time imagining what the characters look like the way that they are features were described it just didn’t like makes sense in my head
I like the plotline of this book I don’t think there was a lot of enemies to lovers trope in this book like it was there at the beginning but like they made a truce really quick in the story so there really wasn’t any but there was a lot of tension which I admit I’m an absolute slut for and the saying wear a cowboy‘s hat ride the cowboy like :}
the MMC rhett though he was an absolute jerk in the beginning kind of kind of not he was always like a gentleman like sidewalk rule OK and opening Doors for her even though like he didn’t like like like her he was still a gentleman and also really like Summer oh and the way he described and talks about summer <3 I absolutely love how summer has rhett quite literally wrapped around her things like he would literally do anything for her and how she puts up with him like only her but it’s also their relationship is so cute like the plot lines between it all and how they went from enemies to like enemies with a truce to friends to hook up buddy’s to you matter more than anything
“Breathe on this girl the wrong way, and I'll end you right
here rather than just kicking your ass in the ring.”
OMG!!! Now I get the hype over Elise Silver! This book was AMAZING! I fell in love with Rhett and Summer. This book will give you all the feels. I always love a good Bull Rider story. If you're looking for spicy well you can get that in this book! WOW! I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book.
Thank you NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.
Apparently I know read cowboy romance.
I wish there had been a bit more focus on the rodeo as I really enjoyed those bits and it would have been nice to familiarize more with that aspect having never been to a rodeo.
Looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
