This book follows on straight after the previous book. There is some great character development with kiera and the story is fast paced. Another great book in the series!

Thank you so much to Darcy Coates, Poisoned Pen Press, and NetGalley for allowing me to read a free ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Still in love with this series! Loved every moment of this installment. Keira and Zoe had great development, Mason and Harry didn't develop much but were still great to have present. I wasn't as concerned by Harry's actions and comments this time around. He and Zoe were their very funny selves. Zoe and her bag of ex machina---excuse me, tricks---never fails to amuse.
I feel I had to suspend my disbelief a bit more for this book than previous, but I was having too much fun to really care. I can't specify without spoilers, but I'll say that Keira is very acrobatic for no apparent reason---life on the run doesn't teach one stunts like that. Her thorough knowledge of runes has also yet to be explained.
We did get a lot of wonderful answers, though it remains unclear how Artec realized they could use ghosts to charge their phones. How did they come to know that ghosts were not only real, but possessed energy that could be harvested and converted into electricity?
Also, HOW DID THE TRUCKS TURN AROUND?? Omg that gave me an eye twitch.
Love it, can't wait for the next one. Which I suspect to be the last?

Although I didn’t read the other books in this series, the characters really stood out to me, there was a point when even some of the characters were giving a creepier vibe. I like the take it took on the supernatural and I might just start it from the beginning to see if I missed a couple of things. There was Humor and Thrill in the book so if that’s something you’re looking for, this is the book for you or should I say series.

I’ve heard many great things about this author and was expecting to be scared or slightly frightened. Sadly, that did not happen with this story and it’s probably because it felt like it is intended for a younger audience. It was an interesting story nonetheless.

The Hollow Dead by D. Coates, published by Sourcebooks, PPen Press, is book four in the Gravekeeper Series.
Keira is a young woman who lost her memory, but gained second sight, means she can see spirits.
An intiguing read that had me right from the start. Unputdownable, complex, with just the right amount of drama, twists and turns. 4,5 stars.

Picking up right where we left off, Kiera and her Scooby gang are taking on Artec in a bigger way! The plot is quick and there's some great evolution for Kiera as a character. I really enjoy the relationships as they develop between characters and the cozy mystery vibes of the Gravekeeper series. Really looking forward to the next installment!

Loved the book! Love this series! Love all of the characters...even the creepy ones! I had been impatiently waiting for what felt like forever to read the next Gravekeeper book and it did not disappoint. I was so happy that we finally got to learn about Keira's past and her connection to the spirit realm. The unforeseen twists were a delight as well. I liked that Harry had a larger role in this story and thought that he was a hilarious addition to the group. And Daisy!! How cool it was to find out where she originated. I was extremely satisfied with the ending, especially if this is the final book of the series. But I will continue to hope and keep my fingers crossed for number five!
The Hollow Dead is book four and I highly recommend this series! From the very first chapter of book one, I was hooked! These books were so much fun to read, and they have a very interesting take on the supernatural. I can't recommend them enough!
Thank you to the author, Poisoned Pen Press, and NetGalley for granting me early access in exchange for my honest review!

I absolutely love the Gravekeeper series! Keira, Zoe, and Mason are some of my favorite book characters, and I love that this series is also about the kind things that Keira does to try and help ghosts that have not passed over yet. In this book, Keira finally gets her memories back and they are just as horrible as we all imagined, including the death of both of her parents. It's time for Keira and her friends--including Fish Face and Harry--to kick some Artec butt! I cannot WAIT for the next addition to the series!

While this series might not clinch any prestigious literary accolades, it stands out with its distinctiveness, cleverness, and a balanced mix of humor, eeriness, and supernatural elements, ensuring your engagement.
The characters are ones you genuinely grow attached to, making all four books thoroughly enjoyable.

I think this one let me down with Darcy, I've read a few of her other books and they have been hit or miss for me.
This one was sadly a miss.
I enjoyed her most recent novel. This one feels like it just fell short. I wasn't shocked, spooked, etc during the story.

_The Hollow Dead_ by Darcy Coates continues the _Gravekeeper_ series with expanded world building, mystery, and paranormal adventure. Keira, still unable to fully remember her past before coming to Blighty, and friends pursue the mysterious and evil Artec corporation since discovering the company is harvesting energy from tormented souls. She must fight to free those trapped, while coming to terms with her past. This book was a great continuation of the series and an enjoyable read!

I wasn’t a huge fan of this book, unfortunately. Normally horror books keep me engaged but I found myself struggling to pick this book up even though I wanted to know how it ended. Not my favorite sadly.

Another wonderful installment in the Gravekeeper series, this fourth book begins to answer questions and resolve many of the main threads running through the series, with unexpected twists and fulfilling turns!

This book was just okay but nothing special. I think the series has gone downhill as each book comes out.

I enjoyed this book! The characters were well developed and the storyline was engaging. I recommend that others read this book as well, especially if they enjoy a good thriller.

I’m a Darcy Coates fan but this series is no longer for me.Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher.

I really like Darcy Coates as an author, and I have tried really hard to like this series, but i just do not think it is for me. I really enjoy the aspect of the plot when the main characters are helping spirits move on, but the evil corporation aspect is becoming a little too far fetched.
