Finley O’Sullivan is working as an investigator for her godfather Jake. His newest client is Ray Johnson, a self-described reformed petty gangster, now real estate developer, who was suspected (and cleared) of the murder of teenaged Lucy Cagle thirteen years earlier. Now the police have found Lucy’s handbag in one of Johnson’s warehouses and have reopened the case against him. Finley is charged with finding the truth. This case is not simple. The girl’s mother, an investigative journalist, has disappeared. The client’s younger brother, possibly Lucy’s secret boyfriend, went missing days after the killing. Finley’s father was somehow involved. If this sounds complicated, it is. And add to this a stalker who may or not be connected to the murder of Finley’s husband. Add responsibility for her neighbor hospitalized with serious heart trouble and a possible run for office. As Finley probes deeper into the Johnson brothers’ pasts, secrets long hidden are slowly revealed. Secrets that threaten her life.

All the Little Truths slowly builds suspense, has credible characters and a multilayered plot. It is weakened by an unbelievable, far-fetched conclusion that I won’t give away and by Finley’s own tendency to ignore threats against her safety even they may include others close to her. 4 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley, Thomas & Mercer and Debra Webb for this ARC.

Everyone but Finley thinks Ray Johnson murdered young Lucy 13 years ago She's an ace investigator who puts it on the line for the client and this one takes her into dark areas. I'd not read the earlier books so I'm sure I missed nuance but it was still a good read. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. I'm going to look for more from Webb.

This was the first book I’ve read by this author. Maybe if I had read the first two, I would enjoy this more. I did not have a connection with what the main character had been through before this new mystery came about.

The most interesting part of the book was the distrust she had with her father. It was kinda lame that it turned out the neighbor was the missing investigative journalist. Facial changes happen over 13 years, but not to that extent without surgery. Wish the twists were set up better.

Quick read though.

Thank you to netgalley for allowing me to read this book prior to publication. I had started this series a couple years ago and have enjoyed reading it. This third installment was by far my favorite. I have enjoyed seeing Finley's growth as a character. The twists kept me guessing.

There is some serious suspense going on in this storyline. This character has has evolved so much and overcome every obstacle thrown her way. This author writes the best strong female leads.

Finley O’Sullivan is working the 13 year old murder case of young woman. The client is a shady character but She will get to the truth no matter what. Like a dog with a bone she will not give up until justice is served.

This series has become one of my favorites and I really hope this is not the last book.

The story is filled with suspense, action, and morally complex characters, and Finley's unwavering determination makes her a compelling protagonist. While some parts of the plot are predictable, the book's character development and intricate storytelling make it an engaging and satisfying read. Whether you're a fan of the series or new to Finley's world, All the Little Truths is a must-read for thriller enthusiasts, and I hope for more adventures with this compelling character in the future.

Book Three in the Finley O’Sullivan series, this one finds the legal investigator working a cold case to solve the murder of a young woman when evidence is found pointing to her firm’s new client.

Lots going on here. Family secrets/lies, power, greed, mafia stuff, vengeance, vigilante justice…you name it. Well plotted and another good addition to the series.

My sincere thanks to the author, NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for providing the free early arc of All the Little Truths for review. The opinions are strictly my own.

If you want to solve a case you are going to defend, look to Finley Sullivan, legal investigator (with a law degree) and expect results whether you like them or not. Finley Sullivan works for her godfather Jack and she always wonders how some of his past dealings end up as cases he will defend in court. This time he has taken on the defense of Ray Johnson of the 'mob family Johnson' who is being accused of the unsolved murder of a teen 13 years before. To add to the strangeness of the case there is also the case of his missing brother. Who is responsible for what? Finley will stop at nothing. With a Nashville background the setting is perfect and the characters nothing but fascinating, who is bad or how good can they be. The story gets twisted, and even brings in family and questions of what, no can't be. If you've followed the other two books in the series, (Last Lie Told and Nature of Secrets) you'll find answers to what came next in Finley's life and can it please get better. I encourage interested readers to read all three books but the story is told with background to guide you through the past to the present. Debra Webb never misses presenting a fantastic story. Thank you to Thomas Mercer and NetGalley for the ARC.

ALL THE LITTLE TRUTHS is a good book. Thirteen years after Lucy Cagel, a girl’s prep high school student, is strangled to death, Ray Johnson is suspected of her murder. Fingerprints are found at a site owned by the Johnson’s, and the police think they might belong to Ray. Since Ray must refuse submitting to a DNA test because of his family’s crime history, he hires Finley O’Sullivan and Jack Finnegan to find out who murdered Lucy.

After reading the first scene, I could tell I was going to enjoy reading this thriller. Debra Webb has a way of quickly pulling me into the story. Finley’s backstory is an interesting accompaniment to the main story, and I like the way Finley insistently searches for the facts related to Lucy Cagel’s murder. Many secrets are revealed, leading to a satisfying conclusion that ties up all the loose ends. I’m happy that Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley have given me the opportunity to read an advance reader copy of ALL THE LITTLE TRUTHS.

This is the third outing for Debra Webb's character, Finley O'Sullivan, and it is quite a ride. Finley has been asked to use her investigative skills in a case that she is really not too keen to be involved with.

Finley's friend and boss Jack is defending a decidedly unsavoury character by the name of Ray Johnson Jr, whose father Ray Johnson Sr is an acquaintance of his. The Johnson family is suspected of being involved in all kinds of shady stuff, and Ray Jr is also a suspect in the disappearance of a teenage girl.

This is a cold case, dating back nearly two decades, and has been reopened because of evidence found at the Johnson warehouse.

Through the many little truths that she discovers along the way, Finley is able to piece together some parts of the story. As we make this journey with her, the story becomes increasingly compelling.

This is an interesting book, and I really liked Finley as a character. But there are a fair number of people and events to keep track of, so that can be a bit distracting. Overall, an enjoyable story, so this one gets 3.5 stars from me.

Legal investigator Finley is hired as an investigator for a sketchy client. In the process of her investigation she focuses in on the unsolved murder of a teenager 13 years ago. This book has so many twists it will make you dizzy. The author throws out a lot of red herrings, I didn’t know which direction the story was going. This is definitely one you won’t want to put down. I received an arc for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for allowing me to read an ARC of this book. Expected publication: 07/11/2023.

Another brilliant thriller from Debra Webb. This is the third installment featuring legal investigator Finley O'Sullivan. A strong female mc who has overcome her personal trauma in order to move forwards and get justice for the murder of her husband.

The firm has been hired by a client, Ray Johnson, with a checkered past. Although Finley has dealt with her share of shady characters this client seems to be much worse, so much so that the Nashville police are trying to pin a murder on him.

Defending her client involves Finley trying to solve a decade old cold murder case. The murder of a teenager closely followed by the disappearance of Ray's brother and then the girls mother seems too big of a coincidence to not be linked and it is upto Finley to connect the dots.

Finley is racing against the clock to solve the case....while someone is working on making sure the secrets remain buried no matter the cost.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a heart-pounding thriller.

This is a continuation of a series featuring Finley, an investigator for a lawyer. Finley never gives up, and will uncover secrets, no matter who is involved! This was a good read with some twists!

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

I really like Debra Webb's series about Finley O'Sullivan and I was really looking forward to this book. And it did not disappoint. It was full of action and twists, leading up to an ending that I didn't quite see coming. If this is the last in the series, I will miss Finley & Co.

Finley O’Sullivan is a legal investigator. She’s dealt with her share of shady characters, but her firms latest client is darker than any that has come before. The police seem to think he’s a murderer, but Finley isn’t sold on that idea.

Finley’s investigation into Ray Johnson’s history focuses on the unsolved murder of a teenager who died seventeen years earlier. The case went cold, but questions remain.

As Finley races to solve the cold case, she uncovers new clues and long buried secrets that could blow the case wide open. Unfortunately for Finley, the original murder is still out there, and he’s interested in her.

This is the third book in the Finley O’Sullivan series. I remember reading the 2nd book earlier this year, so was excited to see the next book available already! I think because I had gotten a feel for the characters in book 2, I enjoyed this book slightly more. I still do need to read book 1, but there will be time for that someday. I think the author does a fairly good job of including enough information about the characters to be able to jump into this series midway. This book was full of suspense and the pacing was nice. Suspense is a hard genre for me because sometimes I feel that they are too slow, but that was not the case here. There were plenty of twists and surprises to keep things interesting as well.

If you are looking for a heart pounding suspense book, then check this one out.

Thank you so much to Thomas & Mercer, and Netgalley @netgalley for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

I was invested in the Finley Donovan series from when I first read the first book as Finley is such an interesting character to follow with a rich backstory and there was a decent amount of mystery surrounding her life. I am not sure if this is the final book in her series but I think it will the last one that I read. It has been a common thread throughout this series that Finley's personal story was more interesting that the case that she was working on but I think, after she uncovered a lot of truths in the previous book, there wasn't much left to her story in this book. Something that was apparent to me until this book was that apparently Finley is the same age as me but she definitely is not written as such, she definitely feels at least 5 years older than me but probably closer to a decade. There is also a random moment where something is described as "being like an episode of Stranger Things" which is a sentence that does really mean anything, at least to someone who has only watched one season of the show; it read as a kind of desperate effort to shoe in a popular culture reference 🤷‍♀️

Beyond my quibbles over the writing, the plot I guess is a middle of the road mystery / thriller. I am not sure if it was intentional on Webb's part but I guessed the "twist" almost immediately which made for a somewhat frustrating read as it felt as though the characters were being deliberately obtuse. I also felt as though the endingm was handled with a little less finesse than I would have liked.

As much as my review might seem down on this book, it is more that I was excited to get to this book so it was disappointing when it did not live up to my expectations. I don't think this is the kind of book that will be generally disliked, I think I just like something a little bit different in my books in this genre.

I've been a fan of Debra Webb for many years and love all of her series, and this is no exception.
All The Little Truths, the 3rd - and sadly - final installment in the Finley O'Sullivan was absolutely amazing!
There were suprises, twists and turns that took my breath away until the very last chapter.
I'm sad to see the series go, but Brava to Debra Webb for a fantastic piece of not to be missed writing!

I enjoyed The Last Lie Told and The Nature of Secrets and All The Little Truths is a great continuation of Finley O'Sullivan's story. I recommend reading all three because they're well-written and quick and easy to read. Former attorney turned legal investigator Finley O'Sullivan is working to find the truth about the murder case of high school student Lucy Cagle 13 years ago. New evidence has just become available and the police have reopened the investigation. The main suspect is Finley's firm's client, Ray Johnson. Ray and his family are well known to be involved in all kinds of criminal activities - prostitution, drugs, human trafficking, and possibly murder. As Finley uncovers all kinds of clues and secrets about what happened to Lucy, she puts herself in grave danger. I was able to guess the big twist from some of the hints the author provided, but it did not take away from enjoying the book. I look forward to reading more of Debra Webb's books and hope she continues the Finley O'Sullivan series. Thanks to #netgalley #Thomas&mercer and #debrawebb for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was intense. Despite not having read the previous books, I felt well-informed about past events. This was my first book by Debra Webb, and it definitely won't be my last.

Thirteen years after a murder case, new evidence emerges, leading to its reopening. Finley, an investigator working for her godfather Jack's law firm, is known for her exceptional skills and toughness. The book takes an interesting turn as Finley embarks on a desperate and sometimes reckless journey to uncover the truth behind the unsolved murder of a teenager thirteen years ago, and the dangerous criminals involved. The story had me on the edge of my seat in some sections, while in others, it was somewhat predictable. However, the good news is that by the end of the book, all the loose ends are tied up, and we finally get the answers we've been waiting for.

I really enjoyed it. Lots of suspense, action, twists and turns, surprises and resolutions. I am hoping that there will be another story for Finley.

I would like to thank NetGalley, Debra Webb, and Thomas Mercer for my eARC. All opinions are my own.
